Ara blinked, surprised. "No, not at all! Why do you say that?" She took a half-step forward, her green eyes curious. It wasn't often she talked to others, did she say something wrong? Her face became a little worried.
((lol It might be my brain is distracted by TV or something. Watching Extreme Pools : ) ))

Odi stopped and looked at her feeling himself blush slightly. "Im just talking a lot." He said shrugging slightly. Suddenly he felt something scaly rub against his foot and he looked down naturally to watch a thick tail move by. Suddenly he heard a hiss and looked up almost face to face with a cobra.
He didn't say anything as he watched it and it meet him back. The snake let out another hiss but he stayed motion less before using his magacian power and the snake slowly started to move back and stood in place. "Want to touch it?" He asked sitting down unhazed from the event.
((They got a show on pools?))

Ara started a little at the sight of the snake. She'd come across snakes before, but never one like this before. She hesitated a little. "Wouldn't it bite me," she asked Odi, "it looks poisonous."
She was a little fidgety with Odi being so close to the snake as it was. She was pretty certain is was poisonous, just by looking at it's eyes.

Odi watched the snake casually as he went through it's mind. It was fully under his control. "No, I'm controlling it. It is, highly. Curuor has a few kinds of these. One even spits venom." he said as he made it move close to him and lower it's head so he could pet it.
"I wont let it hurt you." He said as it lowered it's gaze back to his. He knew it's every thought and it was trying to fight back so it could bite but he kept it under firm control.

Ara still hesitated. She was not in the least fond of snakes, of any kind. But she tolerated their presence as they tolerated hers. The thought of going up to only to deliberately touch it, controlled or not, made her shiver a little.
"I think not, though thank you for offering. I just don't get along with snakes." She looked up at Odi a bit apologeticly.

Odi kept his eyes on her as she spoke then looked back at the snake his face emotionless. "I can't let you live in our forest, your too dangerous." He whispered almost as an apology then went and broke it's mind.
The snake feel back and curled several times before Odi gave it a quick push under a bush. "I understand. Sorry if it freaked you out. I didn't sense it." He said walking toward her a few steps to make sure she was okay.

((You had to ask me >.< *sucks at describing things* Well they go through either ten or twenty of them, but I can only remeber some. Like there are two restrooms that use one-way glass. The first lets you see into the restroom from the street, while the people inside think it's a mirror. Nothing graphic, you only see sinks and stalls. The second lets people in the restroom see people in the restaurant. There's this ninja restaurant, Japanese, with Japanese toilets. Heated seats, butt cleaner, all sorts of nifty controls XD There's are a couple green-friendly ones. In one the male urinal is a motion-sensor waterfall. There's an art museum that hired artists to build the bathrooms. So the bathrooms are also art, just art you can pee in XD The high tech portapotties are kinda nifty! Some theater has epic bathrooms, like something you'd see visiting the white house. Ummm, can't remember anymore sweatdrop ))
Ara still shook a little. She hadn't meant for Odi to kill the snake, though she would be lying to say she wasn't at least a little releaved it was gone. Slowly the tremors stopped.
She managed a sheepish smile for Odi. "It's alright." She wished she could give some reason as to why she freaked out a little. Mishap as a kit, thought she was pulling on another female's tail, anything. But she couldn't.
"It's an irrational fear, honestly, like how some fear spiders or water." The sheepish smile creeped back. "You must think I'm a silly airhead."
((*pokes* Wasn't Odi afraid of water as a kit?))

((Lol, I am so going to look that up lol. I want to pee on art! But that bathroom thing with the one way is kind of weird lol. I'm so going to look up this show!))
Odi watched her for a moment, her tremors did make him worry a little. Seeing them slow to a stop made him feel better. Although he felt even better knowing a kit wont run into it.
"I see..." The mention of water brought back childhood stories and abuse from his tribe. "I never really bend fond of water..." he said lying. He had been scared of it and was still timid. A shiver ran over his body and he immediately started hating himself for letting it happen. He was supposed to never be scared! He was Curor!
((Yeah. Why, some evil plan lol?))

XD Well head to NYC, about a third of the bathrooms on the show are located there!))
The tiniest of frown lines creased Ara's face, and an undefined emotion bubbled up. "Irrational fears are just so.....well the name says it all. But they aren't anything to be ashamed of. Everyone is scared of something, even if the fear changes forms as they grow older.
She almost wanted to ask Odi if the water was an irrational fear, but stopped herself. The answer wouldn't really change the result of the fear. And she didn't want to be the one to have to bring possible horrible memories to the surface.
((Stuuuuuuck XD Muse is unable to generate a mini plot to feed off of!))

Odi watched her face as she spoke, his whole presumption she was a simple fox had went away. She had a very deep thought process and was bringing up things he never thought of. "True." He said looking away feeling embarrassed now. He was a killer and here he was trembling at the very thought of water, more or less what was in it.
"Maybe it's what keeps us alive. Snakes are highly dangerous and water is..." He paused for a second then cleared his throat trying to lie about his pause, he wasn't going to be scared. "a very dangerous thing at times." He said shrugging it off.
((Lol, picture the art toilet and it will come!))

((Hmmmmmm. Nope, nothing! Not unless we can give Odi a swirlie, and that doesn't seem likely XD ))
Ara nodded, moving a little to keep her joints from settling. "Water is powerful and uncaring. It gives and takes life with not even a thought." She chuckled a little. "But you'll never see anything more beautiful than some of the wonders it can preform. I have seen quite a lot traveling. I'm sure even someone who feared water couldn't fail to be impressed by the sight of the ocean, depending on where you see it."
The remark wasn't really addressed at Odi so much as a thought spoken aloud to bring observations to light. Ara did, however, have a question for the yellow, black, and white fox.
"Have you ever seen the ocean before, Odi?"

Odi watched her silently as the thought of water just surrounding him then a monster coming and eating him. He shivered for a moment then looked at her. "I'm sure you have. I seen what the wind can do." he said as he walked around her for a moment as stories of the ocean came to him. Large empty water with nothing but giant monsters in it.
"No...never really had the urge to go. I have heard a lot of stories though." He said feeling uncomfortable. He didn't know was it because of her or because of the idea of water.

Ara's face almost glowed as a delighted smile emerged. "Oh, I'll have to show you sometime!! I know this beautiful place, actually not ridiculously far from here, with water such a beautiful color and sand that looks almost white and trees th-," she trailed off, a thought occuring to her.
"Of course, that's if can spare you for a bit of time. And if you'd actually want to go." Her face fell a little. She was so used to being free and unbound, the thought that other foxes couldn't do the same was foreign to her.

Odi watched her quietly as she talked. She seemed so happy about the thought. He looked into her green eyes as she talked and hearing her trail off his tail curled around his leg a little. It made since she realized he had a duty.
The frown on her face made him from as the thought went through his head. Sin didn't need him, if he wanted him the scout would of been found him. And she said it wasn't to far. Plus it was just him and her...and a big sea of monsters. Finally he made his response. "I am actually free now as you saw me resting earlier. I could go now and it wouldn't be an issue." He said to her a smile on his face but fear jumped around inside him.

Ara wasn't sure whether to be laughing or a bit disappointed. Being of the happier nature, she laughed. "Well, maybe I should elaborate. It's not far, for me. I don't have a tribe to answer to, so when I go missing for days it's not like anyone notices. And it isn't really far I suppose, but-," Ara hesitated, doing the mental calculations.
"If we went at a comfortable walk, it would take two days to get there, and two to get back. An easy lope, a day each way. If we ran it you could be back by this time tomorrow. Either way, it would take some time." Ara smiled apologetically, then laughed a little as a thought popped into her head.
"The only way to get there and back before the end of the day, one of us would either have to secretly be a 'Phim! That or call in a favor from a bird big enough to pick up a fox!"
((XD Methinks I stumbled on a crackplot! That or disappointment for Odi. Unless he can disappear for a few days, or doesn't mind a good run!))
