Spinny game? Kay listened to the little guy try to explain it, but sadly he came up short. Was it like spinning on land, only...in the water? Hopefully. Still, his own interpretation of the game might prove to amuse Vance, so he 'dropped' the boy, catching him at the last minute and holding him against his scarred chest. Well, he couldn't spin very well out here, now could he? Shuffling to shallower water, he set Vance down and then held out both of his hands for the little guy to take.
"I dunno if this is whattcher Daddy does, but should still be fun, yeah?" Luckily his gave was mostly shadowed by his dreads with the way that he leaned over, but it did give him a good chance to glance at the gaggle of women that seemed to be converging, watching him. Heh heh...little kids were always chick magnets.
Pity he was actually having fun with this one!
"Actually, before we try, explain the game to me again?"

Vance yelped as he was let go, only to be caught again. He squeaked, clinging to the older boy, laughing with enjoyment. Kay was so much fun! He liked this guy!
He wiggled his feet as he was set down again, settling once his feet were on the sandy bottom. He looked up at Kay smiling, listeing to him talk. Kay needed another explanation? Silly adults needing to be told! The boy let out an exasperated (and obviously fake) sigh, putting his hands on his hips. He was totally playing it up. "Ooooookay. But I'm only gonna explain this one more time!" Vance said, trying to impersonate an adult.
"You hold my hands, and the swing me around! My feet get in the water sometimes and makes splashing! We go around and around like this!" The boy pretended to hold someones hands, and spun in place. He stopped after a moment, staggering slightly. "Liiike that!" He raised his hands up in victory, and hoping Kay would start the game by grabbing his outstretched hands.
