She frowned and turned to look at him. "I just know, okay? I don't see ghosts. Don't be absurd." Huffing, she got to her feet and walked away.

He stared after her, not moving from his spot. He was more then a bit bewildered by both their recent conversation and her parting comment. He was just asking questions. Why was she so offended?

Plopping down a few feet away, she let out a heavy sigh and curled up, staring off into the distance. It was bad enough that she had these hallucinations in the first place, but for one to insinuate that she saw ghosts too? She made them up, but she didn't kill them off before hand! She wasn't crazy! Really. She wasn't.
Covering her face with her paws, she mumbled something to herself, her posture looking quite forlorn.
