Liulfr had left the families den this morning. Nessus didn't sleep with the family any more ever since he had began his training with Geri, Freki, Ulfhildr and her mate, Savhir he had distanced himself from his immediate family and though this was generally considered a good thing by his sisters Liu could not but help feeling he'd lost his brother to some great evil force. His father had been absent for some days now and their mother was becoming even more ill tempered than normal in his leave. So with this is mind he attempted to escape for a little time on his own, he was a young adult male now and it was about time he took a den of his own, it was only acceptable to stay in the same den as your mother and father for so long he presumed and besides this, unlike many of the other pups growing up in the Reign he had lived in his fathers shadow and protection for far to long.

He hadn't really planned his route or where he was heading for, he had simply taken a walk out into the packs territory on his own creating time for himself to think. The time when his father and mother had left to travel to Draug Faroth and Nessus had been influenced by Freki and Ulfhildr to leave the sanctuary created by their parents to train with had been playing on Liu's mind. Haemon had told him of his condition when Nessus had began his training, his father had band him from training for fear of haemorrhage or simply excessive bleeding and if that didn't kill him the conditions it could leave to and then would be out of his fathers paws to try and influence the out come of his health. Thus Liu would never be a warrior and he certainly didn't have the personality to attempt becoming a Lord and certainly if tribute was never offerred, what would he threaten them with? Despair set into Liu on his worse days, here he was in the most evillest packs in the whole of Telk and he simply couldn't take part and if he could he honestly, deep down, didn't want to, there was too much good in him. So what could he hope for, the only thing that kept he becoming a slave to exploit by others stronger than him was his family ties.

It was these thoughts he was mulling over when a piercing howl reached his ears, which twitched as he failed to recognise the howl and who it belonged to but such a howl could only logically belong to one wolf in this territory and though he had never met the Goblin King he knew it was a command to gather the pack together. Liu stopped in his tracks and obediently turned, yes he'd make a good slave indeed though his family would never allow it, Kaida certainly wouldn't. He smiled softly as he remembered his sister, she had seen him leave this morning he didn't doubt that, she didn't miss much. He quicken his pace wanting to be with his sister, not wanting her to be alone with the pack wolves gathered about her though truth be told she was far more capable of looking after herself than he was.

Some time later he reached the main den area, numerous scents belonging to other wolves entered his nostrils, many had gathered already. He entered the clearing and spotted his family. He smiled and caught Kaida's eye and quickly came to her side, 'Hello little sister.' He turned his head and looked at her straight on and a warm light glowed there before he turned to observe the scene unfolding in front of them. 'Well what do you make of all this,' he whispered softly for only her to hear and then looked about, his eyes took in many wolves he had never met, few he could identify by reputation and his knowledge of but it was the male and the female close to the base of the rock which climbed up to the alpha's den that struck his interest, he looked down at the male's paws and he inhaled quickly and held it in, their was a... dead wolf, or very badly injured wolf in front of him. His eyes widened and turned and looked and Kaida quickly to see if she could fill him in.

He watched with pride at the way they came, almost as if they rose from the shadows. His eyes narrowed on the slaves for even they came standing to the side. He glanced over families tied by blood some stronger then others, yet they would each serve some purpose. His eyes flicked over Haemon and settled for a moment onto his mate, while he was still uncertain he had decided to give Raelin the benefit of the doubt. He knew she had been seeking training and her initiative was pleasing, her logic sound. His gaze moved over Liriel and her brood, fine examples he thought. Cassius had trained with a single mindedness that Chernabog intended to exploit. The male would make the perfect battering ram in any attack distracting long enough for the seasoned warriors to attack from other sides. Liriel herself was a worthy lady already he knew where she would go. He knew where to send each of his distinguished lords and ladies and tonight they would know as well.

He went still and alert and slowly a grin slid into place under the metallic mask he wore. Eagerly he watched as the sibling pair who had wanted to join returned in triumph. This was the perfect moment, a crowning achievement for all the pack to see the escaped slave being returned...dead. Ba'al and Lilith a most dangerous duo, his mind had already been set to place Ba'al in position of beta should he succeed. He could see the way Rumor looked at the male, or pretended not to. With Rumor and Ba'al as his betas he would have no concerns should he and Mog need to leave the pack for any reason.

"See here now, how successful hunters return...you should all embrace Ba'al and Lilith, for tonight they join our ranks. They have gone into the territory of the traitors who harbored this runaway slave, and returned her to us. Let their actions serve as a valuable lesson." His gaze turned and lingered on the slaves who were alive before he glanced back down at Selenes broken form. "I think I know who's particular skills will be of use later..." He murmured softly to himself thinking of Fiereza and her delightfully dark spawn. If only he could sway the skinner to join their ranks, but she was quite steadfast in remaining with her mate.

He turned his attentions towards Ba'al and flicked his head up gesturing for the male to move up. "Your services will not go unrewarded, should you desire to remain among us it shall be as our Beta. My dear Rumor will stand beside you a most worthy equal, we have need of such cunning ferocity to ensure the packs safety when the time comes for myself or my queen to lead the others into battle." The offer was made to sound as if the male could turn it down, yet it would be impossible to do so in this gathering without being slaughtered.

"Excellent..." He murmured once Ba'al had accepted and turned to address the rest of the gathered pack.
"As you can see a great many things have come to pass, and our numbers have swelled. We make a most formidable gathering no?" He chuckled darkly. "I wanted you all to have a chance to meet one another, and to formally present to you all my queen. Among others tonight I should like to announce where my lords and ladies shall next travel for we must continue to spread as packs break and form. I have news to share with all of you as well about our alliances...and those who believe they can stand against us. We have new lords and ladies, and of course as with all packs we have a fair number of pups who should meet those who will guide them."

He turned to glance into his den and tipped his muzzle towards his dear ice queen. "Most of you may know, but now all of you shall...Moghedien my Queen, your queen...when you speak to her it shall be as if you are speaking to me. If you have concerns, if you are displeased by something or someone I trust you can handle it yourselves. I do not enjoy dealing with petty squabbles, however if you must voice your discontent I would suggest doing so with her, for you may have a chance of mercy." He grinned.

"Do not allow her size to fool you, already she has proven she has more strength then even I believed her capable of. She has given me six healthy pups, six pups that the pack will be permitted to judge, to teach, to welcome or dispel as they choose." He turned towards the den waiting for his brood to exit into the dark night, waiting for them to see the rest of the pack, to see the world they would be raised in.

Cassius moved near his mother and then sat eagerly glancing at all those who came. He was slightly surprised for he had been unaware of how many they truly were. His nose twitched and her jerked to peer intently at the pair of wolves who dragged an unfamiliar female in. Well whoever she was, she had obviously done something to displease the pack. He watched and listened surprised a slave had ever escaped but pleased she had been found and taken care of. He felt a slight p***k of annoyance as Ba'al was given the position of beta, it was a place he had hoped the king would consider him worthy of. Still he supposed it couldn't be if he was to lead any battles and so his discontent faded.

He rose a bit and watched as Chernabog presented his queen and pups. His eyes flicked to his mother for her reaction, at one time he might have thought they would be angry, bitter. Now he had come to see for himself what a good queen Mog would be, she had even helped his mother in a way. She had tried to help him as well and he had to admit he had come to find a measure of respect for her.

Moghedien watched Chernabog's back as he looked down over the gathering pack, she herself could only wonder at the sight before him. She itched to come forth and look down upon those gathered with curiosity, though instead she lay still, coolly waiting for her introduction before she would come forwards, out of the den and be presented officially as Chernabog's mate and the Queen of the Reign of Terror. She spared the pups a glance, all seemed to display some margin of interest in what was going on outside, some more than others of course. Though her icy blue eyes soon returned to Chernabog and her ears pricked forwards as she heard a stranger speak from below, 'We've brought the traitor back to you.' Moghedien knew threw whispers that a brother sister duo had been sent off to Tomkin to hunt down Selene, she wondered then if that was who now spoke out below.

Moghedien rose slowly though did not move forwards and quickly looked down at her pups, a warning glance spiking her eyes as she cautioned them not to move ahead of her. Not yet. She listened carefully as Chernabog began addressing the congregation below, so it was Selene they had returned with, how interesting and not surprisingly Chernabog offered him such a position after all the other wolves in the pack failed to achieve such a goal, she was eager to met this male. However subjects changed and he began his introduction of their Queen and with that Moghedien glided out from the shadows of the den and into view of the whole pack, taking her rightful place next to Chernabog, her mate, her King and her fellow ruler over the pack named the Reign of Terror. She stood very petite next to him, the top of her shoulder only just brushing against the very start of his, she was the total contradiction of him, where he was fire, she was ice, where he was rage, she was reason. She presented herself but more so she looked down upon them with vague interest, her true emotions lost from sight, she displayed no outward emotion but inside her head was a different matter; plans ticked, ideas rolled and she observed each individual below carefully, calculating their use and worth.

Anansi sat next to his mothers left shoulder, he was never that far away from her, she was a great influence on him already. He did not enjoy the rough and tumble that his sister and brother enjoyed, that was not his developing strength. No, Anansi was cool and collected much like his mother and for that reason she seemed to tolerate him a little better, she herself of course did not find much pleasure in the physical aspect. However Anansi knew this needed strengthening and besides his development in the art of dipolmacy and manipulation he needed to at least be able to defend himself if not always be able to best his siblings.

Though in the future ahead his father had already warned them that they were not going to get it easy and a deep routed suspicion made him think the opposite because he and his younger siblings were the pups of the alpha's of such a pack they would be forever trying to life up to others expectations of what they should be; the marriage of two great wolves, should make greater ones still. Yes well, Anansi was prepared for the storm ahead, at least at present, he thought he was.

He twisted his head and looked up at his mother, who seemed transfixed upon their father at that point, her ears flicking ever so slightly. He grinned a little, not everything about her was unreadable, not if you knew what to look for, something had struck her interest, something one of the wolves gathered below had said. Anansi looked out of the mouth of the den and anticipation rose, wondering what awaited him and his siblings. His mother rose without command though he did not move and good enough as she pinned them all with a warning glance. He itched to move forwards, to start progressing in this tale he was collecting and beginning to spin in his head, what was to occur hear today and the tales that followed would be something for him to remember and to cast into a glorious story.

His father began to address the wolves gathered outside and Anansi absorbed every word, casting it to memory to be able to add to his story he'd write to memory. So mesmerized by the whole event unfolding before him he didn't notice his mother walk forwards, snapping awake he jumped forwards eagerly to see what was below. Multiple smells and scents entered his nostrils which were almost intoxicating and his eyes widened at the view below, there were hundreds of wolves!

Kaida gave a soft smile and nosed her brothers cheek by way of greeting when he appeared beside her. A sort of warmth and kindness showing in her eyes meant only for her older brother. He was sort of like her one weak spot. "Brother." She said by way of greeting looking around the pack taking in everything before her brother's question reached her ears.

"I would imagine it has to do with the dead wolf up there. There was talk of a runaway slave. Aside from that I assume a comment on the packs numbers will be made as well as the influx of pups as well as the normal. Our king sending our lords and ladies off to different lands and the like. As I said the normal." She stated with a small shrug. This was all a guess of course, she just assumed that this was what the meeting was for, she fell silent as their king started to speak. She had been correct in her assumptions about the slave though she hadn't known who had been sent out to bring said slave back. She was interested mildly mind you in this new male and his new position. Mindless fool or cunning intellect always the question that needed to be answered. He seemed smart enough to take the position he was offered amongst them. Who knew perhaps he would prove at least mildly useful... perhaps.

As their new queen was introduced Kaida gave a slight huff. Not that she cared one way or the other who was queen but there had been whispers on the winds about this particular female. A cunning intellect she had and the coldness to use it to its fullest extent. It made her deadly and perhaps someone Kaida would enjoy a conversation with should Kaida find the time to actually care enough to even approach the now queen of the pack. She resisted the urge to snort at the kings choice of words. Petty Squabbles indeed. That was possibly the biggest understatement she had ever heard.

Her ears perked as more pups were introduced, the alphas pups. Now this could be interesting, perhaps one of them would show promise? Maybe one of them would show the intelligence she needed to see. Not that she had any real hope for them, after all this was the king and his queen. The possibility of them being just all out vile creatures that wanted to rip the world asunder was high. Which meant they could very well turn out to just be mindless trolls that did their kings bidding. How... utterly droll. However, there was always the promise that one would manage to escape that fate and prove to be more. To think outside the... pack, so to speak.

She looked at Liu for a moment a small wolfish smile on her face. "Well would you look at that. Yet more pups to add to our ever expanding ranks of volatile blood thirsty monsters." Her voice was pitched for Liu's ears alone, and the way she said it made it sound like maybe she wasn't exactly thrilled by this prospect but one couldn't really tell. Kaida always had, had the ability to keep her true thoughts and emotions on a matter unreadable. Vague if you knew her well enough and knew what to look for, but then not many knew the lithe female that well and she preferred it that way.

This was the moment he had been waiting for. Today he would meet his parents pack - his future pack. There was a great joy in knowing that moments from now he would lay his eyes on his future minions for the first time. For now Oson'gar stayed near his mother, patiently awaiting the time for him and his siblings official entrance into the pack. His eyes roamed over his siblings as he waited, giving each of them a slight glare as if to silently tell them that he may be introduced along with him, he was he The Prince and none of them could steal that from him. He even gave Olivine and Lycos that same stare, for they too should know this, as well as it kept their alliance a secret.

Attention turned to their father as the Alpha began to address the pack on several things. Much like Anasi was close to their mother, Oson'gar felt close to his father - as it was he who would teach him everything that was needed to run this pack when his time came. His pack, it had a nice ring to it. But it was best not to be distracted by such things at this time, for there was much to learn from his father right now. Not only what was said, but how it was said mattered and Oson'gar turned his ears to better listen to those tiny cues. Any and all information he gathered tonight would assist him in the future.

As his mother rose Oson'gar sat up a bit straighter, he had great respect for her, like he did his father but in a much different way. Hearing his fathers words of introduction made Oson'gar's fur tingle, he was so close to seeing his pack, his future. With his mother making her way out to sit beside father Oson'gar mentally prepared himself for what he was about to see. Finally with his father glancing back as a sign for them to make their appearance Oson'gar moved forward. He kept his pace slow, holding himself up high like a prince should. As the wolves came into view his mind reeled at all the new faces. Those were his fathers minions, but one day they would be his. Being the one his father had dubbed The Prince, Oson'gar thought it was only fitting that he sit between his father and mother. So that he where he moved to, between the two Alpha's that brought him into this world and the two that would take a back seat when it was his time to rule.

Lowering himself onto his haunches Oson'gar looked out at the wolves who were gathered, even taking note of the slaves that were present though hiding off in the corner. These would be his one day, they would serve him like they all served his father now. A smile crossed his maw, yes they would do nicely. Once he had proven himself to them, much like he would prove himself to his parents, there was no doubt in his mind that they would follow his orders without question, for he was their Prince. The fact that he was the last born of the litter mattered not, for the title and crown his father had placed upon him spoke greatly of his future.

Likho was not one to busy herself with playing with her siblings, though there was no doubt that she could tolerate them. They were still to be considered rivals, whether it be for approval, love or attention at such an age was to be detirmened. Her ears lowered when he mother lifted herself, itching to move after her and gaze upon the lower members of the pack.

She trailed after Oson'gar, doing her best not to look too eager as her large paws brought her forward. Her bright eyes, those that resembled her mother, glanced about, taking in each wolf in the same way that she saw her mother do.

She was to be considered one of the beauties of the pack as she got older, holding her mother's tiny form rather than her father's strength. Even the evil marking along her side merely added to the beauty that she would need to grow into.

Her eyes glanced at that moment over to Oson'gar, the barest hints of a smile curling onto her maw. Never had she thought that the youngest son would become the true Prince, but she would show a bit more respect to him than the other siblings merely for the fact that their father had shown him his favor. It would be wise to be in Oson'gar's good favor as well.

The coincidence was delicious. Here she had chosen the time as being right to return to the pack's lands, and what does she hear? Her Lord and King, calling to them all, though distantly. A pack meeting! What wonderful, delightful timing! She broke from the easy walk into a bound, barking sternly to her pups to keep up or be left behind. Despite the threat, she made sure to keep her pace to that which she knew they were capable of. So young they were, and yet so hard they had trained, even so early as this. Their endurance was exceptional, their strength acceptable even in Kiara's critical eyes. Each had their weakness, but each had their strengths as well. And now was the time to show them off to their father!

The family came late to the meeting, having missed the announcement of Queen and offspring. Offspring she had no inkling existed. So it was that as she came to the edge of the gathered wolves, she let loose a howl of triumph and declaration. Kiara was here! She bulled her way through the crowd, shoving some aside with her shoulders to make way for herself and the puppies scampering after her.

She managed to get right up before Chernabog, whom she had spotted from afar and only had eyes for. "My King!" she cried joyfully. "My Ruler and most magnficient leader, may I present...," but there words failed her. It wasn't that Mog sat beside him. That she had anticipated. Oh no. It was the line of small forms ranged out beside the two Alphas. Several moments passed as her jaw hung open, allowing her own offspring to catch up to her. A fury lit within her eyes, bright and shining in its intensity. Mog would pay. Mog would suffer for stealing such thunder from her!

She bared her teeth at the female, then turned her eyes to Chernabog once more. In a less joyful but still triumphant voice, she began again as the last of her four settled in beside her. "My Lord, may I present your offspring, my gift to the pack, may it ever grow stronger." Her chin lifted, and she refused to even glance at the Queen. "Your blood breeds strong puppies, most high King," she added proudly, glancing to either side of her at her children. In her mind, they could have no other father than the Alpha. They not only looked but acted the part, exactly how she had raised them.

Though somewhat younger than their rivals, they were of equal size, being born of a larger mother. She viewed each of them with individual pride before turning to look intently at Mog's spawn, eyes narrowing in predatory examination. Well, there was no question as to whom their father was. She gritted her teeth in frustration, seeing they bore more clearly the mark of Chernabog than her own did. Still, Kiara demanded the best of her pups, and she was confident they would soon prove equal to the challenge.

Kirzeni wasn't the strongest of the four pups, but she was fairly swift on her paws. When momma had broken into a lope with the warning of being left behind, she had been right on their mother's heels immediately. She kept up well, dodging various obstacles Kiara merely glided over. She slowed once to drop next to her brother and snap her sharp little jaws at him. He was a little slower than her, and she felt he was also weaker. Mother needed them all to keep up, to be strong, so she nipped at him to stir him to better speed. It seemed urgent that they keep up, that they arrive at their new home soon. The excitement that ran through them all made her own heart pound faster. Mother pushed them on, leading the way, and Kirzeni surged up behind her.

It was a bit of a surprise to find so many wolves gathered. She followed her mother doggedly as she pushed a path through them all. The puppy rolled her eyes to either side, wondering. Had they all gathered just to greet them, to see them arrive? The idea both stunned and excited her. She barely supressed an excited bark as she dashed up behind where Kiara had stopped. Darting around her mother, though, she was met by an awesome sight. It was their Father!! He stood tall and proud, so large and powerful, just like momma had described! His mask snarled at them, and his sharp teeth gleamed silver in the moonlight. Her racing heart fluttered with instant joy and adoration. Like her mother, she only had eyes for him. Unlike her mother, the presence and significance of other puppies did not intrude on her euphoric moment.

Khorr was late. Late late late! He grunted and groaned as he dragged the white stag that was to be the pack's feast the last hundred feet or so to the meeting clearing. He arrived just in time to hear and see Kiara's entrance. His eyes widened in shock at seeing not only her, for she had been missing for an inordiante amount of time, but that there were small fuzzballs following her. Puppies?! Kiara had had puppies while she was gone?!

Stunned, he let the stag's carcass drop where it was and he stared in growing surprise and dismay as Kiara made her announcement. Now, Khorr had been aware that this meeting was to announce Chernabog's puppies, and he could see them standing beside Mog. But this? This was too much. Having more insight into Kiara than most other wolves did, he groaned and buried he face against his own shoulder. Oh no. Trouble was about to explode, and no question!

The journey had indeed been a long one for the young pups. One that most young her age would not have been able to endure. But then again, most pups were not raised as they had been. From the moment they could walk Kiara had been training them, and training them hard. Kevlar enjoyed the challenges that her mother had placed upon not only her but her siblings as well. They had pushed her to her limits and beyond. It was thrilling in an odd way. Paws carried her along at a decent pace, but she was tired, for even a highly trained pup like herself was susceptible to exhaustion. The mere thought of being tired made Kevlar growl. Exhaustion was a weakness and one that neither she nor her siblings could afford. In their time training she had already began to pick out the flaws of her siblings. Her brother seemed to be the weakest, plagued by a dark coat which made the heat of the day uncomfortable to him.

Even Kevlar had her weaknesses. One's she hated to admit to and likely never would. But perhaps the greatest weakness of all was how overly critical she was about weaknesses, not only her own but in those around her. It had become an obsession of hers and by extension of that was beginning to be her greatest weakness without her even realizing it. The bark from her mother brought her attention away from her weariness and she reached deep within herself to find the strength to move on at an even faster pace. Mother was slightly easy on them as she did ensure they would be able to keep up, but even Kevlar was struggling, only she hid it well and kept up the pace. Inwardly though she was tired.

But all that was pushed to the back of her mind as she moved through the crowd. Mother stopped up ahead and began to address the King, her father. As Kevlar's eyes caught their first glimpse of the Goblin King there was an overwhelming sense of pride knowing that that great beast was her father. Coming up beside her mother Kiara stood looking up at the masked wolf with a mix of admiration and pride. It took a few moments for her to realize that he wasn't standing alone up there and her eyes cast themselves upon Mog and the puppies that were gathered around her father. Who the hell were they? Eyes moved to her mother for a moment and then back to her father, she couldn't afford right now to look weak or uncertain in the presence of such a great wolf, so she hardened her expression and awaited her fathers recognition of her and her siblings.

Liriel just stared impassively at the scene going on before her, her maw contorting into half of a wicked smile as she watched the former beta female's gaffe. How embarassing for her, how obnoxious! She couldn't hold back the dark knowing cackle in her throat as she examined and compared Moghedian and Kiara's pups. Truly she could see no resemblance to the alpha in Kiara's brood, making the whole situation even more comical to her. She looked to her sons now on either side of her and cracked an evil smile.

"The depths to which some will sink, eh?"
she whispered darkly, trying hard not to chuckle any louder, lest it be fully audible " What an entertaining lie..."

She just sat there, poised and eerily smiling as she watched it all unfold, eyes shifting to look again at the unfortunate offspring. At the very least, Liriel thought, her brood was the most handsome out of the three of them..at least she could give herself that much satisfaction.

Baal looked out from under his cloaked hood, shoulder to shoulder with his mother as her cackling escaped her, his ears twitching this way and that, somewhat stunned at the spectacle before him. Who on earth was this stranger, he wondered, and what did she think she was accomplishing by marching in like a fool with a litter of puppies that was obviously not the Kings blood? Surely the royal family couldn't take this seriously..

He looked over to his brother incredulously, wondering what he made of the whole thing, already feeling almost embarassed for the female himself. He turned his head upward to look at the King and Queen, anxiously awaiting the reaction, wondering what would come of such a display.
PostPosted: Sat Jul 10, 2010 7:52 pm

Verdigris flicked his ears in annoyance and moved forward, as close as he dared approach his King and Queen, yet far back enough in the group to keep from calling attention to himself, leaving the slaves behind. He was not one of them, nor would he ever let himself be. He was strong. He would be just as strong as his parents and larger siblings, of this he was sure.

He just needed to train harder, and train would be exactly what he would focus on the coming moons.

He perked up as Chernabog spoke, but his attention was deviated as the former beta returned, with pups in tow. Her anger was hard to miss and he couldn't help compare the younger pups to the ones that followed Mog to be revealed to the pack.

He shook his head.

Of course, her eyes eventually wondered and she caught sight of Freki. Her eyes narrowed dangerously, tempted to snarl but not daring to interupt when the King was saying such important words. A shudder ran through her when she finally felt her mate come close, pleased that he was with her once more. Surely he could feel the way her heartbeat sped when he returned.

It was amazing, but she still felt the same excitement every time he returned to her. Especially now, after them being apart for so long. The nickname brought a grin to her maw and she turned, giving a soft lick to his ear and whispering a soft greeeting of her own. "Hello, my love."

But she silenced herself and watched the Great King as he spoke, knowing eyes pleased when Moghedien was brought forth and her pups mentioned. Her eyes only seemed to brighten when she saw those pups step forward. They were nothing but adorable, she had no problem with the Queen and their new family. It would be nice to have rulers that trusted one another.

Her happiness didn't fade until she saw the female come in and heard what she had to say. Her head turned and she stared at Haemon. "Is she stupid? Presenting them to the king in front of as all.. he'll kill them." She whispered, shocked that a pack member would show disrespect pubicly and wondering just how the King would handle it.

Olivine was not a stupid pup, it was impossible to be stupid and get anywhere in this pack - and with Moghedien as her mother intellect was almost... guaranteed and so while she surveyed the gathered wolve's she was already trying to decide who - beyond the obvious trouble her siblings might represent - would prove to be troublesome as she grew, and she couldn't help but miss the furious look in the late wolf's eyes as she spotted them..and then her announcement. What?! More siblings?!? More of the wretched heathens to compete against.

The fur between her shoulder's rose just a bit at this irritating announcement - mongrels!, Halfbloods!...fine she gave herself a small shake to make her fur lay flat again, a few manipulations here and there and surely her own stronger siblings would wipe them off the face of Telk soon enough. Vigdis found herself alone with her mother, her siblings seemly had all disappeared, she sniggered to herself, they must of all gotten fed up of being beaten by her, off hiding somewhere licking their wounds no doubt. Though Vigdis was never satisfied, her thirst for fight never stated and thus she dared herself to attempt wrestling with her mother, no harm in a little play fight and she never knew she may even better her.

Ulfhildr lay lazying in the morning sun, this summer heat bothered her, she was use to far colder climates and whatever pun another may of made about her old bones liking the warmth she would of ripped anyway wolf which dared to shreds. She wasn't really paying much attention as her young pup circled around behind her and viciously jumped her, pouncing upon her back and grabbing her by the scruff of the neck and then rolling to her left side, Vigdis' weight and moment hauling her in the same direction. Ulfhildr snarled violently, insolent pup, how dare she!

Ulfhildr scrabbled her paws underneath her and with a violent jerk she jammed her shoulder up into her offspring's neck, causing Vigdis to gag and release her grasp around her mothers neck. Ulfhildr swiftly sprung to her paws, rounded on Vigdis, whom was still attempting to recover and in a lightening quick motion she struck her fangs sinking into the young females tender flesh about her neck. The muscles in Ulfhildr's neck and shoulder rippled as she hauled Vigdis up in front of her and in one swift almost careless manner she flung her pup out to her side. Her head followed the motion and she stood their panting in the summers heat and she growled at her pup, 'Learn your place pup, you mean nothing to me, I only humour you and your siblings presence in my own and if you dare attack me again I'll not just pierce the flesh surrounding your neck I'll rip it out.' She stood, with her head hung low and her eyes shining with promise, panting heavily but before the pup could offer some sort of spirited retort Ulfhildr's ears pricked, she lifted her head and caught an interesting sound in the limited wind on such a humid day, it was a summoning howl issued from the alpha male. She looked one last time at the pup whom was still crumpled where she had flung her and snarled dispassionately, 'Oh do get up, you'll never make a warrior if every time someone tackles you it takes you more than a few seconds to rise.' She turned her back on the excuse for a creature possessing half her blood and walked over to collect her prized mountain goat hide. Even in such heat she could not leave such a thing behind when going to gather with the masses, one had to make an impression.

Big mistake. Vigdis felt bruised after such harsh treatment, from her own mother but then again she wasn't truly surprised. She lay their mulling over why she had made such a stupid discussion and really couldn't provid herself with an answer, one day though she'd best the old female, one day. Vigdis ignored the blood as it slowly trickled down her neck to her shoulder; the wounds would scab over quickly in such heat, no need to waste time cleaning them plus her mother was right, she needed to get up quicker. She winced slightly as her limbs protested but she growled softly at her body as her spirit fought with it to make it rise. She wobbled a little and then she righted herself, catching a glimpse of her mother as she began trotting off in the direction of the alpha's den. Vigdis was interested to see why the alpha had summoned his pack, what would be announced and more to the point what wolves would she see gathered their other that the family she'd already met, other warriors to compare herself to. She trotted eagerly after her mother.

With his eyes closed Haemon felt Raelin's heart beat, steady at first then a quick flutter and then the heart beat increased the flow of blood speeding up around her body which was probably due to anger knowing her, Haemon tensed a little with this but words followed which calmed this assumption and a small smile crept across his maw; her heart beat had increased in pace not out of anger but out of love. He open his eyes and looked at her, fleeting tenderness passed from his eyes to hers and then he turned his attentions to why he and the other wolves had been gathered here.

His eyes began to wonder but at first they never took in anything of interest and then the Goblin King began to address them and his attentions snapped to him. The slave had been found then, he looked down from where the alpha stood to the male he was addressing at the bottom, at the males paws lay the crumpled form of Selene. He pushed out with his shaman abilities and confirmed that fact, the neck wound had been harsh and she had bleed profusely. Lifting his eyes he took in the male that had been offered the position as beta wondering how he had achieved this goal and desiring a meeting with male but it'd come in time, with Haemon a Lord the new Beta male would no doubt have tasks passed on from the alpha to relay to himself. Topics swiftly moved on and the alpha began informing them of Moghedien and her now official role as Queen, this did not surprise him the issue had been developing for a long time, he smiled darkly remembering his first meeting with the icy femme.

His attentions strayed in this moment and he looked about the gathered mass gauging each of their reactions to the announcements so far. Liriel seemed rather calm and he wondered what development had been made the for the female to be so calm about the now official knowledge that she had lost the battle for a position beside the King, from his understanding of her she was rather unhinged last they had met, something had changed it seemed however. His eyes travelled on, taking in wolves he didn't really know much of and then they arrived at Freki, his brother. At first didn't seemed to be looking at him though after a moment he must of felt eyes upon him as his turned at looked directly at him and characteriscally of Freki he winked in a manner which implied he was up to something. Slowly Freki took a step backwards and then looked back at him. Haemon looked past Freki at the wolf who was sat next to him, it was Aitou. Haemon felt the fur on the back of his neck rise and he couldn't help but emit a slow rumbling growl in the base of his throat, though Freki had one more card to play. Slowly his elder brother lowered his head dramatically and pushed his nose forwards pointing out two pups sat obediently in front of the couple.

In this exchange of information between the two brothers he had failed to notice the display of the Heirs and dramatic entrance of the ex Beta female. Raelin was the one whom knocked him out of the blindness created by the knowledge that his brother had mated with a female whom he had met just before meeting Raelin, a female whom both Geri and Freki and used as a tool to try and fire up Raelin's temper by stated she'd shared Haemon's den. What Freki would do here on out he did not know and he feared that cunning tacticians mind. He reluctantly pushed the issue to one side then as he looked forwards toward the 'centre stage' once again. From what he could gather Kiara was stating that the pups at her heels were also the Goblin King's offspring.

Enough was enough! Not only a few days ago the alpha male had attacked him by presuming Raelin had weakened him and in so fewer words he implied that he had chosen a mate which would be detrimental to the Reign. However Haemon was planning his return visit to Draug to demand tribute from his mates uncle who she held dear to like a father and if he refused he'd have to leave a 'message' stating that the Reign was not to be refused and if so this was the consequences. Raelin had visited the pack bordering the Reign, spoken with their Shaman and had began training in the art of healing so in the future she could heal the Reign's warriors after battle. Yet here he was with a female in front of him who in her time as Beta did very little to for fill her role, had shown up today and stolen the limelight from not only Moghedien and her pups but also from the new Beta male and his achievement. He was the one who lay with the wrong females, not himself. He growled softly and the stress of multiple events which had happened recently to Haemon caused him to snap, he growled softly, darkly, 'So here you are, Oh great Goblin King, with two broads by yours side, which you expect all us gathered here to accept as the rightful heirs to this pack but what if we do not and more so what if we have lost respect for you? Hm someone who has just announced to us that his mate is someone to be respected for her strengths and merits to be able to rule wolves like us gathered here.' He paused and let the complement to his fellow pack members sink in, 'But you yourself can not respect her when you have gone and lay with another female.' He turned and stared at Kiara with vermilion eyes and targeted her now, 'I do not like the way in which you just bullied your way to the front of the pack, who ever gave you right to dismiss all of us gathered here, that we are to respect the spawn of a female who forgets there would be no pack if it wasn't for all of us that made it, that fight for it.' His eyes dared her to turn on him, so many events in recent times had escalated and right now he did not fear any outcome if he was to bleed this female dry to satisfy some of the frustration and tension he felt over numerous things. He stated simply to the female, 'Respect is earnt, not given.' to her he implied simply giving birth to pups was nothing to be respected for but he turned to the alpha in the last minute and his eyes rested upon him to finish.

[Nessus will be added soon as I get a good hold of his future, so I know what it will be like for him as an adult as im currently playing him as pup for some backstory<33]

Static stared at the natural colored slave and let a growl escape her throat. No slave should -ever- be without a master, otherwise it wasnt a slave, but a free moving punching bag of the pack. She didnt like that whatsoever.. She felt the power in her body as she moved each muscle. Her pelt looked as if it was actually crackling lightning from within itself. Her pupiless eyes glared down at the slave, and she pushed him with her paw in a rough manner.
"You slave, you should be more..concerning towards where you stand." SHe warned, and eyed him once more.
Though her anger at such freedom was cut short when she raised her head. So Rumor was to be the beta of the pack? Interesting. It meant she had done a very good job of training her it seemed. It filled the wolfs heart with pride, not that she lacked any of that to begin with..

Of course she was again cut off in thought as the white she-wolf made her way over to the packs congregation and began announcing her own litter..
She felt her lip raise. She may have wanted the position before Mog had secured it, but by god she would not have her home threatened by such.. foolishness.

She waited to hear the alphas speak, for they would know much more in terms of what was going on than she, but it didnt mean she wanted to accept what all was going on just now. She looked at the pups that were supposedly the Kings and shook her head. Wheras Mog's litter resembled the male, this litter looked identical to the mother and no one else. She growled a little, and looked from her alpha, to the female alpha, and back at the intruder.

Rumor stood a bit taller. She gave a little delighted smile. She had secretly always thought that Ba'al was an attractive male.. Something to be proud of now for sure! The traitors body tucked tight within his jaws as he approached, she watched as he dropped the lifeless corpse to the earth. Her eyes gleamed, and she felt her cheeks flare up in a blush so she made sure not to look at Ba'al until the feeling had passed.

She had watched the oncoming of the pack, and she felt her jaw drop at just how many there actually were within the packlands. It was a proud thing, having so many wolves so dedicated to the same cause as herself.

She looked to Truth, and pulled her closer with a paw. She had caught eyes with the white female who approached, and she had made sure not to make too strong eye contact with the female, if only because she had no idea who the female was. Of course, announcing a litter that seemed to be illegitmate at the most s hould it be the Kings litter, caught the female off guard.

The little pup wiggled a little, before looking at the other pups with a raise of her lip. She truly did not like meeting others, it was something that she just.. she just felt she was better than them all anyway. What did it matter whose pups they were? Which was something mother had been trying to break her thoughts of. Truth was a loose cannon, if only because she had the highest aspirations of most her own age. She felt herself snort, and sit down at her mothers request. She didnt feel that anyone was better than her or her mother, though she felt the strongest sense of jealousy at her mothers promotion. Of course that all just meant it bode well for her anyway.

She blinked, and looked at her mother at the other wolves outcry, and she kept her mouth shut.. She knew this was not the time for her to begin her talking.
