you're not making a fool of yourself, it's a good idea, we should have posted prices before.............I think that the Animal Communications book was about $15 or $16.......the first Cunningham is $10..........I think the second one is the same price......

Books I have read recently and actually enjoyed:
The sacred round : a witch's guide to magical practice -- Elen Hawke
Covencraft -- Amber K
Pop! goes the witch : the disinformation guide to 21st century witchcraft -- Fiona Horne
Earth magic : a book of shadows for positive witches -- Marion Weinstein
Advancing the witches craft : aligning your magickal spirit through meditation, exploration, and initiation of the self -- Lord Foxglove
Wicca for life : the way of the craft--from birth to summerland -- Raymond Buckland
And, finally, MY PERSONAL FAVORITE:
Self-initiation for the solitary witch : attaining higher spirituality through a five-degree system -- Shanddaramon

Books I own and think are pretty nifty: "Essential Wicca" By Paul Tuitean and Estelle Daniels. This book has everything some one starting out (like me) should know. Very informitive and helpful. It cost about $30, but it is worth it.
"The Celtic Dragon Tarot" By D.J. Conway and Lisa Hunt. This includes a book along with the tarot cards. The art is nice and full of symbolisim.
"Tarot for Yourself" By Mary K. Greer. This is also useful, and talks about many diffrent tarot decks and doubles as a tarot journal. I use it frequently and enjoy it a whole lot.

"The Edges of Science Crossing the boundry from physics to metaphysics." Because I don't know the price, and the fact that I hate hypocrates, I will type what it says on the back. Quote: Richard Morris is one of a small group of physicists who can write about the exiting new frontiers of physics in simple, limpid prose that no intelligent reader can misunderstand. Moreover, his latest book is so up- to-date that it includes news flashes about bizarre results announced while his book was going to press. It is a superb introduction to today's fantastic speculations about the deepest questions in physics and cosmology. Metaphysics (Greek words meta = after/beyond and physics = nature) is a branch of philosophy concerned with the study of "first principles" and "being" (ontology).

Wow! I need to put some effort into expanding my collection, I only have: The Ultimate Book of Shadows for the New Generation Solitary Witch by Silver RavenWolf I got it at Barnes and Noble, and I think it was about $30, but I could be wrong, I bought it a while ago. It is a really big book though and I still haven't finished!
I also have: Wicca, A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham I don't know how much it would be, I got it off ebay with a altar kit that I bought. The whole kit was like $20 with shipping I think...? I don't know.

Aeinor Pretty much anything my SilverRaven Wolf is good....She wrote 'The Guide to Wicca' and some other informational stuff. There's also a book called 'the Teenage Book of Spells' by some lady who's name starts with a J (Vague much? I'm doing this at 10 pm my time!) They're both good...and books on the 7 Great Clans can be helpful!
Lastly, even though this is fiction, the 'WICCA' series by Cate Tiernan is VERY very informational! I gives background info. about covens and herbs and has a few spells sprinkeld here and there! Enjoy! I seen that book by SilverRaven but I didn't buy it cause I didn't know if it would be good or not. Thanx for recommending it, I'll have to pick it up next time I'm at the book store. LaterZ!
