This whole "Climategate" thing reminds me of the original V and those "damn scientists!" The scientists involved have been thoroughly investigated, and it has been determined that they are not guilty of fraud. Also, Infowars = fail. Alex Jones is, to put it mildly, a few sandwiches short of a picnic and his fans aren't much better.

I wonder why it is so attractive to be a "rebel." What combination of querulent paranoia and Star Wars make you see every politician as The god damned "Emperor," and every scientist as in his pocket.
If you were really genuine about this, and not just some internet persona, I think you would be more inclined to throw in the effort to spell out "To."
The Amish were not victims of Carbon taxes, by the way, but of regulation of runoff. Manure runoff is a serious problem. Even if the fertilizer is natural, it is not being handled naturally, and it's causing an algal bloom. Algal blooms make people sick. Especially people with me, who have sensitive airways.
I ask, have you been loaded up with these arguments by someone else? What is their motivation?

I'm sorry, I stealth edited my post, since I didn't know you'd be around. Quote: The Amish were not victims of Carbon taxes, by the way, but of regulation of runoff. Especially people with me, who have sensitive airways. I ask, have you been loaded up with these arguments by someone else? What is their motivation? Edit: I would add that the word carbon never even comes up.

Hoshioni umm screw you, the mainstream media do them selfs in, and your not worth anymore effort. Most would not consider it wise to spew insults at their guild moderator thus. Quote: big companys and other crooks get away with crime, so not guilty in court means nothing True that. However, if you bother to do a little research, it becomes apparent that the "smoking gun" quotes were taken out of context.Seriously, what kind of idiot doesn't know that the word "trick" has more than one meaning? The people ballyhooing about "Climategate" were misleading the public, and they knew it. Quote: and how come they dont call it global warming anymore hmmmm......how come in the 70's, it was the dangers of global cooling? It wasn't.

Are you trying to say that being concerned about carbon means that one cannot also be concerned about the other issues you raised?
And what exactly is the periodic table of elements supposed to prove?

Yanueh Are you trying to say that being concerned about carbon means that one cannot also be concerned about the other issues you raised? And what exactly is the periodic table of elements supposed to prove? im saying theres way bigger fish even if it was, GMO, and heavy metals in food are my number one issues but coal is almost pure carbon, oil and coal are chemically and similar in creation. but im not interested in online fighting, as long as you can agree that just taxing it isnt the solution punishing the mega rich by fines, to me solves nothing, as its cheaper for them to pay the fines. and keep doing what they do. but if someone like us makes a slip up we get the book thrown at us. we need real solutions. not a money based one. can you agree with this???

I never said that taxing was the solution, and at this point I don't think I have enough information to say much either way on the matter.
Again, what does the periodic table of elements have to do with anything?

Hoshioni simple carbon isnt a problem, Are you saying that because carbon is on the periodic table of elements, it can't be a serious threat to the welfare of Earth's ecosystems?
