"Well I was created in the deserts. I haven't gone back since I first left and I've been traveling to different places ever since." Shifting his front legs uneasily, he stared back into the water.
Moam looked up when she asked him if he was alright. He gave a weak smile, "Yes, I'm okay." Not really wanting to make her run away like others have, upon hearing about his past.
A gentle brush of her coat against his tough skin and all Moam could think was, Oh no...
"I uh... actually have no body armor. The only pieces I wear are my leg and neck guards and of course my helmet. That's actually just my coat."
He nudged her gently back, returning the gesture. Bowing his head he closed his eyes, waiting for the inevitable splashing that would signify her fleeing.

"Created...you mean born right?" Stripe watched the Stallions face change to a frown from what she could see,"please don't be sad or you'll make me sad too."
Stripe remembered that she was supposed to be trying to stay above the water and paddled a bit more, her eyes grew wide at his comment,"really? That's your coat. That's ...so COOL!"
But her expressions weren't of fear but of surprise and maybe a bit of excitement.
There are were even more questions she felt she had to ask, more popped up in the place of the old ones.
She smiled when he returned her gesture and remained by his side even when he waited for her to flee with his head bowed.
She leant in,"are you still there",she joked,"did I upset you?"
Stripe looked really worried as to how he could turn from happy to sad in minutes.

"No I mean Created. I wish I would've been born. I was made by some very dark forces." He looked at her when she continued to stay.
Moam's eyes flashed from her down to his coat. The hard, yet smooth ridges of his obsidian coat were glinting slightly. Did she just say cool?! Looking back to her face, he lifted his head in shock.
"No...no no! You didn't upset me at all! I was just expecting you to take off. Most soquili become frightened and run... or faint." Moam gazed into her eyes, searching for some glint of fear that would warn him. She's still here. Smiling a bit more he noticed she was paddling to stay afloat. "Come, we should probably go into shallower waters, or even get out."

Stripe frowned at his statement,"you don't seem dark or evil at all."
She seemed almost confused, who ever created him must've had some power.
"Can I thouch it? Your coat I mean", she blinked half flusterd,"I'm sorry I've just never met anyone so interesting."
I'm actually starting to wonder if he's this interesting, why he even bothers to speak to me. I'm so boring.
She nudged him and laughed,"I'm not one to run from someone so kind. Most are quick to run from me too. But usually it's because they can't handle my qualities. I'd be frightened if you yelled at me and threatened me a bit maybe, but you seem like a nice guy on first impressions. I bet you feel like running for me, a mad mare for not running", she frowned a little thinking to herself and looking back to him. She had absolutely no fear of him, maybe because she was silly to trust a stranger so quickly.
Stripe clambered out of the water and shook her mane,"come on."

"Yeah, I try to separate myself as much as I can from what I was supposed to be." He looked down at her, Is she frowning? Moam nudged her again, hoping for a smile to appear.
"Of course you can, it doesn't bother me at all." He shimmied closer to her. "'I would hardly call myself interesting. My past just is." Laughing at her statement.
He stared at her in disbelief, "Why on earth would someone run from you? You appear as though your heart is as big as your body! I would hardly find someone as sweet and fun something to run from." Moam watched her frown again, not knowing why she was sad.
Following her to the river bank, he flapped his wings to release extra moisture.

"Supposed to be?" Stripe repeated part of his sentence in confusion,"something bad I suppose?"
She glided slightly further away when he nudged her, but she soon floated back over paddling her legs.
Striped nosed his rock pelt,"wow. Do you feel pain?"
She looked up again,"well it's always the past that makes you yourself but it's good to look to the future. I'm just one to live in the moment. See I like seeing you happy. It's nice."
Stripe shook her mane out to attempt to dry it and sighed solemnly, and laughed whilst shrugging,"from an early age my family rejected me, my farther didn't but everyone else did. I ran away. I just couldn't stand it anymore. I was just as a foal should've been, except I had to grow up faster. But now at adulthood I...well lets just say I wish I had it back. I wish I had a childhood. Maybe it's just me living in the moment that chases some away. You haven't seen me at my worst."
Stripe laughed and her famous smile came back to light,"do you have a place to stay, or are you just passing?"

"Yeah something bad. I was supposed to do horrible things." He said, gazing into Stripe's eyes. "But..... that's not who I am."
He laughed at her question, "Of course I do. It is still apart of me and i can feel it." For such a young, happy mare, she was very perceptive about life. "That's very true, and living in the moment is a good way of living." Looking down at her he couldn't help but smile, "Well your good at cheering me up."
Watching her try to shake the water, he thought he'd try to help, gently fanning his wings towards her. "That's horrible to have that happen, especially at a young age. I'm so sorry." I don't understand why anyone would want to reject her... "You should always do what makes your heart happy. If some can't handle it, then they shouldn't be in your presence. You don't deserve for others to get you down like that. As for your worst, I'm sure it can't be too bad."
Her smiles are contagious. "I'm not really passing through. I mean I will eventually leave, but I've been enjoying lingering here for awhile. I've mostly been sleeping in a clearing."

"I'm glad that's not who you are or else we wouldn't be getting along as good as we are now",her tail twitched.
"Oh it's so amazing! I've never met anyone like you. I can most definitely say you're unique",Stripe liked unique and different individuals,"the only thing about living like this is you can be reckless so you need to take care", she gazed back,"I'm glad. It makes me even more happy to think that I'm good at something."
The warm air and the fanning of his wings certainly did help to evaporate the water. He really is quite helpful.
Stripe shrugged it off,"it's alright, what's done is done. I had to live with it", she looked at him to see his reaction and nodded happily,"I most certainly do try to do what makes my heart happy. I do like to have many in my presence but the truth is many don't want to be in mine."
Stripe giggled,"yeh don't think you'd have to much trouble handling me being neurotic and my horrible mood swings."
"Summer nights can get cold, but really all that depends, most nights get cold unless the warm air lingers. I have blankets to offer, or even a temporary place for you to stay until you move on. Unless you like sleeping beneath the stars. I used to do that as a foal, but it was no good when i rained or skinwalkers and kalonas wandered." Those were grim times, the star did make her happy but she never knew who she could trust.

"If it was I doubt no one would be getting along well with me. Except perhaps some senile skinwalkers." Moam watched her body language like a hawk.
"Why thankyou, but really, I am a simple stallion now. Just traveling here and there. You yourself are quite unique. With your elegant stripes, pink eyes, and bright personality. Even after what had happened to you." She was quite a wonderful spirit. "Stripe I'm sure your great at many things, you just got to give yourself a chance."
Folding his wings back, he looked at the sun. So bright and high in the sky. "I cannot believe people would not want to be around you. Your fantastic." Laughing once again at her giggles. There's no reason for her to be self conscious. "Everybody has mood swings, girly. If you didn't it wouldn't make life very exciting." Moam gave her a big wink.
Blushing at her offer, all he could really say was, "Why thankyou. Only if I won't be much trouble for you. Sleeping beneath the stars is fine by me, that's what I'm used too. Luckily we wont have to worry about either skinwalkers or Kalonas."

Stripe laughed nervously,"senile skinwalkers? They'd probabbly play with you a bit and paw at you like a ball of wool, I'm not sure if they would be mad enough to try and take a bite out of you. But some would."
The thought of it all made stripe giggle, she could see a baffled skinwalker feeling flustered with shattered teeth.
"I'm only about as original as my farther.I got my eyes from my mother, it's strange, i have her pink pupils and a purple iris. I haven't met anyone else but my brothers sisters and moth who has these eyes." Stripee flicked her mane out of her face, and laughed,"yeh I get what you mean I am very doubtful but I shall strive to find what I'm best at, or even work at it!!"
Nobody had complimented her with fantastic, that was a different one, but different was good because it was always something fresh and new,"you think? Awwww thank you", she nudged his side,"that's true. At least you can try and reason with me. Some others just don't listen."
Stripe wiggled her nostils and smiled thinking about moam.
He really is being nice, it isn't a game, it's not for any reason except for fate!!!
Stripe smiled,"have you every encountered and Skinwalkers or Kalonas?"

"Yeah, biting me would be a horrible idea, but totally hilarious." He chuckled to himself, agreeing with her.
"You are entirely unique." He flashed another smile at her and started walking towards a tree. The shade is nice. "Don't ever let anyone else tell you that you cant. I've had plenty experience with controlling creatures. The most they deserve is a well aimed spit shot to the eyes."
Moam blushed a bit at her response. It was nice being in the presence of a kind mare for once. "Think? I know so." he wiggled his eye brows at her and put a lopsided smile on his face. "Oh yes, i've met a lot of unreasonable soquili. I met this one old male who would attack the closest object, inanimate or not, every time someone said his name wrong."
"I have not met any yet, and hopefully i wont have to. Have you?" He looked at her with concern.

"Ewww that's not nice",she grimaced,"but that's rude."
She squinted her eyes.
"That's madness! Don't think I'd ant to be hanging around someone like that. Hope you weren't the closest object to you." It was funny of her to exclaim madness when her siblings saw her as half mad.
"Luckily I haven't properly, I've met a half Kalona, but that's it...they looked really mean, tried to act sarcastic and mean too, but they weren't that tough emotionally." She smiled back at him,"don't worry, I haven't been damaged by any such creatures."
Stripe stepped into the shade also and sat by the tree, she sighed delightfully.
"That's better. You must get really hot, dark colours and rocks get really hot. Don't you get hot in that helmet?"
She inched her head forward and whispered,"you're quite the mystery."

"Well some need to learn that there are certain things that you cant bite."
"Believe me, after the first time of being the closest, you really learn to just keep away." She looked cute when she squinted her eyes.
Moam half choke-laughed at her statement. "Awww... poor little half Kalona couldn't handle you? Were you being mean?" Nudging her and smiling wickedly. "That's good that you haven't. Wouldn't want to increase my hit-list."
He sat down slowly beside her, enjoying the coolness that the shade offered.
"Eh I can get a little overheated if I'm careless and stay in the same spot." Looking towards the sun, he narrowed his eyes at the question. His helmet. "Honestly after keeping it on so long it doesn't bother me. Dunking my head under water kind of helps cool the heat pockets in it."
Leaning towards her, Moam became entranced by her eyes. "Believe me I'm quite the boring one. Atleast you have an exciting personality." He smiled slightly.

Stripe watched him choke on the air,"no probabbly just thought I was irritating. They don't really like the kalona side of them anyways. I'm hardly ever mean", she received his nudges and beamed back,"hit-list?"
The thought bemused her she thought he'd left it behind or was it a metaphor? She was happy as long as it wasn't any of her few friends or family.
"I bet", she laughed,"my farther can't handle to heat...I'm kinda so so...I feel the heat more than my siblings..."
She turned her attention back to him and looked at him scowl upwards as if he were thinking really hard, she realised she shouldn't've asked,"oh I see. Interesting. I want one now", she smiled.
Her ears perked at his soft deep voice, and went gooey and shy,"life isn't much without a bit of excitement."

"Everything irritates those creatures" He replied. Moam sincerely hoped that this kind creature wouldn't meet anymore. Some really are cruel. "It's my personal hit-list for anyone i need to... expose of... in the future. I keep a very detailed log in my head." He gave her a wicked grin, baring his teeth and widening his eyes.
Moam smiled at her laughter. "You talk of your father and siblings, but I haven't heard much of your mother. Do you ever wish to be reunited with her?" hoping he wasn't going into a restricted zone.
He realized he sounded a bit too harsh when talking about the helmet and quickly changed pitches. "You could always make one. Though remember they can get hot." He winked at her.
Watching her go all shy made him smile even more on the inside. Moam gently nuzzled her muzzle, "Life would be very boring indeed."
