The crank made all sorts of gears turn, and then the mechanism connected to the box by the metal pole began making a whirring noise. Andrys nodded, and scribbled something down on his notepad. Then, the whole mechanism started shaking, and then, the metal pole blasted a bolt of lightning into the mixture below. The contents of the box started sporadically splashing all over, and when it finally calmed, it was a nasty dark green sludge. Another quick scribble, and then he took a sample. "Very good. Now, if you would be so kind as to follow me," he said, nodding as he walked. He eventually came to a large room, filled with trees and other sorts of wildlife. Animals no one had seen before, mostly because he had created them in here. He walked to a specific tree, that looked like it was dying. He took the sample of the green sludge, and spread it across the tree. Almost instantaneously, the sludge started spreading across the tree, and sunk into it. Within moments after that, the tree was perfectly healthy again.

"whoa..." she watched the tree come back to life, along with her awe at many of the creatures. One of them reminded her of a pikachu with its shape and coloring.

"This is my Forest. Every single organism in here is an entirely new and undiscovered species, which I have created. And very soon, after I have a few more breeds to complete the ecosystem, I will start this just outside the castle doors." Andrys said, nodding.

Hikaru looked at the many creatures. "i think your missing a few birds, Like a water one.." she said. she noticed there were not as many birds as the rest of the animals..

"Yes, I realize this. Avian species are harder to get right... As proven by the things now infesting the caverns," Andrys muttered, shrugging as he scratched his head. "I'm still working out the kinks of the next batch. I think I'm on to something, but they're still a little... Off." He shrugged, waving the thought away. "I'll get it right soon enough."

"you could always take some of my Dna, remove the Human elements, and you essentially have Raw Avian Dna, albeit touched with Lugia abilities." she said thoughtfully.

"Fragmented Avian DNA, along with Lugia abilities." Andrys corrected, but shrugged. "However, fragmented or not, it would be worth having a sample to test with. Do you mind? I just need a drop of blood, or a lock of hair, or a bit of skin."

Hikaru smiled. She pulled a feather that was about to fall out, and gave it to Andrys. "that work?" she asked. she was watching her tail closely, as not to knock anything over.

"Perfect, thank you." He said, walking over to a petri dish and scraping the bottom of the feather across the edges. He suddenly stood, and frowned a bit. "Now, where are my manners? Come, you've been asleep for hours. You must be hungry... I'll cook breakfast." Andrys nodded, and started walking to the door, throwing his labcoat on the hangar and replacing it with his black silk cloak.

Hikaru smiled, and followed him out. she hadnt had a cooked meal in years. she seemed like a Puppy all of a sudden, as she was following Andrys around his house to the kitchen.

They arrived in the kitchen, and Andrys immediately started pulling out ingredients and utensils and what-not. "Please, have a seat." He said, gesturing to the table.

Hikaru went and sat, her tail off to the side of the chair she sat in. Andrys was not just a scientist, but a Chef to her as she smelled the delightful smells he made with the food he Crafted.

A few minutes later, Andrys came to the table with a platter of scrambled eggs, bacon, a stack of pancakes, and a sausage link. "I figured you hadn't eaten in a while, so I took the liberty of cooking for both of us. Go on, eat your fill," he offered, nodding.

Hikaru started eating, only taking half of the platter before she stopped. she was happy, her feathers taking the sheen they had before she left the islands.

Andrys finished off the rest of the food, then nodded. "So, you've swam. You've seen my Forest. You've eaten... What do you want to do next?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
