The invisible nutrition movement stems from the natural human reaction to getting a plate slammed down in front of you, and a harsh "Eat this, it's good for you." followed by threats and punishment if you do not eat it. If you grow up in that kind of household, you may be a vegetable-hater at an early age, and it's a difficult road back to eating what's best for our bodies. I don't think anyone's ever gotten junk food slammed down in front of them with threats and admonishments that it was "good for them."

It's marketed to parents who remember the forced eating without fondness, who want their own children eat to well without making them. First world problems...

I grew up in a house where we ate VERY healthy.
The worst foods we had in the house was chocolate milk powder and tortilla chips. lol

We'd try new foods all the time, but at the same time I'm a human being, I'm not going to like everything! So as long as I tried it.. there was no fight if I didn't want to eat something on my plate.
I was never forced to finish everything off my plate, or eat something that I found disgusting, I was also given free reign over my portions though so generally I would eat everything on my plate.

Obviously if you try to force your children to eat food/clean off their plates they are going to have issues with trying certain foods! Same thing goes with vegetables, I feel like parents automatically assume that their children will hate all veggies! Just give them a choice, listen to them if they say they don't like something, encourage them to try new foods. Oh and keep healthy foods in the house!~

I'm not a fan of v8.. just tastes odd to me. XD
I bought a bottle of the fusion juice since it sounded yummy! Some kind of berry one.. it just tasted like grape juice! I hate grape juice. I think the only fruit/veggies in it were grapes and sweet potatoes! XD
