Occupation: Shopkeeper's son
Description/Picture: 
Uriel has red eyes that many say seem to glow faintly as he fights.
Personality: Uriel has a somewhat complicated personality. To those closest to him he is compassionate and helpful, constantly looking after their well-being and defending them. However to those who don't know him well he may appear brutal and rage-filled. He's certainly easily angered and not so easy to calm. The quickest way to anger him is through those he has bonds with, making him loyal and possessive to a fault, even concerning his enemies. He doesn't let people in quickly but will create a strong bond with them when he does.
Fighting Style: Uriel likes to be right up in front of the action as a close-range fighter, even though his father trained him to be a magic-user. This means his magic is somewhat lackluster, compared to what it could be. He will be beaten down a lot because of this somewhat inefficient fighting style, but if he deems the battle to be for an important reason, he won't stop fighting. It's as if he wants to be a close-range fighter but knows his skill is in magic, so he tries magic up close. If anything positive has come from it, he almost never loses concentration while casting.
Weapon(s): While he does have a long, large knife, he isn't very skilled with it. But with some learning, he could become better very quickly. Though he uses it in a somewhat nontraditional way, just as his fighting style is. He slices the air or the enemy to create glowing patterns or designs shaped out of the air's mana. From this symbol will come his magic attack (as opposed to the glow beneath a character's feet).

Lv 2 - Eruption, Flame Lance, Air Blade, Nurse
Lv 3 - Flare Tornado, Explosion, Spiral Flare

NEW:
Lv 1 - Campfire - a very small pillar of fire (3 feet) erupts beneath the enemy's feet, tossing them into the air a bit. (would-be 3-hit-combo)
Lv 2 - Molten Metal - Uriel's dagger becomes nearly a liquid and holds slams into the enemy, knocking them backwards, while a large pillar of fire throws them up, followed by a second as they land. (7 hits)
Lv 3 - Conflagration - Five diagonal pillars erupt, one by one around the enemy, tossing them around spinning them in circles to make them dizzy, then a sixth erupts beneath them tossing them high into the air. (11 hits)
Physical: Fire Thrust (Like Sonic Thrust but with fire element), Devil's Prongs (fire Sword Rain), Sweeping Heat (makes a wide slice of the blade that sends the enemy flying backwards via a burning wave of air)
MYSTIC ARTE: Apollo's Wrath - Fueled by his painful memories and intense emotions or frustration, Uriel lets loose a huge fireball as pillars of fire fall from the sky, seeming to come directly from the sun. (It may be easier if you imagine a firey Ein Soph Auer plus Judgement except fire pillars instead of light)
Bio:
Uriel from an early age was trained to hate half elves. Some sunk in but at the same time he came to hate pure-blood elves for being capable of such hate.
His rejection of magic and attempt to be a physical fighter may reflect his desire to be human, though he knows it's a hopeless wish. His father taught him magical attacks, while his mother (tried) to teach him healing artes, fearing him becoming violent only knowing harmful magic and no helpful magic. However, again, he was resistant so he now only knows two weak healing artes, which sometimes fail when he uses them.
When he was 12, his parents moved to Flanoir to avoid the racism around Heimdall. Uriel is an only child who lives with his mother. His father died in a blizzard when he was 13. Due to Uriel's personality, he's always had difficulty making friends. But since the indecent with his father, he hardly even speaks anymore. When he was 16 he left Flanoir to travel, devastating his mother. When he came back to visit one time, he found her in a disheveled state, the house in shambles, hardly any money, and no job. She gave him a distant look, as if he were a spirit, as she lay on the couch she had obviously been sleeping on. He left her that day with only one message, "Live. You have to live because Father couldn't." She's now living with her brother in Exire.
Since then Uriel's continued to travel searching for something. He doesn't even know what.
Other Notes:I can't think of any off the top of my head. Maybe just if this character doesn't sound good, I'd appreciate tips. Honestly, I need help with character development!

Of course, the Canon characters would be Commander Brute, Marta Lualdi, Alice, and Decus... Oh and Hawk!

Anyhow, is it just me, or does EVERYBODY use swords and fire...?
That's why I edited Eduardo to use his fists and claws and such. Cause swords are overused. But he actually ended up much more original that way! Now he uses CLAWS and fire! And earth, which is his element!

Yeah, I know they are...but I can't see my main, Azriel, with anything else.  Though her otherselves use an axe and a scythe.
So I at least try to mix it up with other characters. Zaul uses mana guns, Eloysio uses a wand and his psychic powers, and Karina uses bladed knuckles and greaves.
