Lithium looked over at the male as he jumped into the water. She blinked a little bit just slightly surprised at what was doing on. He wasn't really that sure herself. She wanted to know what was doing on or why he was doing this but at the same time she didn't even wnat to know what was going on. But as he also jumped into the water and as she felt her scruffed grabbed on to she realized what he was trying to do.
"Agreed" She said back to him. She started to paddle her feet a little faster as she went making sure to help the paste go on. She didn't want to hinder the progress they were making. She felt his paws scrape against herse but she wasn't going to complain she knew that she couldn't do anything about it. She looked at him and around she was wondering where he was leading.

The current of the river was fast and unbearable. Tsensu started to become uneasy with the constant bobbing under and above the surface of the water. Tsensu was looking ahead, trying to find some relief of the current ending, only to find something worse. There were huge rocks scattered in the river jutting out of the water infront of them. He knew they weren't going to make it out without getting slammed against some of the rocks. As the current brought them closer the rocks got bigger and bigger. Tsensu tightened his grip on Lithium's tuff of fur that was already in his mouth and braced himself when they came across the first rock.
They hit hard. Both of their soaking bodies slammed into the first rock at the same time. Tsensu's skull made contact with the rock, he felt his flesh underneath his ear get cold, but only a small sliver. When the water hit it, it stung. He grunted at the pain 'Must've got cut' he thought. He was more concerned with Lithium then himself at the moment. "You okay?" he yelled over the roaring current.

Lithium grunted, she could understand that it was a pretty great idea for them to jump into the water but yet at the same time she was questioning his sanity. She yelped as she also felt herself hit the rocks. It made her go under for a few more moments then she wanted to do then she popped her head back up and scrambled once more to keep her head above she was really hating the water at the second and normally she loved the water.
She looked at the male as he talked to her she looked over at him then arched her eyes at him. "I'm fine" She gasped as she looked around before relaxing some so she would just go with the current it worked a little better. "how much... Longer?" She called out.

They were both exhausted, and the current suddenly became calmer once they passed the rocks. "Just a little longer." he replied to her. He hoped it wan't much longer, he was never so foolish as to jump in the current near the falls before, so he couldn't be so sure as to what awaited them further down the river. Since the river was so calm Tsensu eased up on his grip in Lithium's ruff. "Some ride, now wasn't it?" Tsensu said to lighten the mood. He was happy to see that the worst was over, or so he was hoping.
Now was a good time to find a bank in the river or find a side of the river that dipped low enough for them both to claw out of the current. "The currents slow, help me find an opening on the side of the river." Tsensu's eyes scanned back and forth.

Lithium was glad to be able to not have the other male clenching down on her she huffed for a moment She really never did enjoy having others grab her scruff. She looked at the male before nodding again then flipping her hair out of her eyes and turning toward the male padding her feet some as she paddled. She was waiting for the moment where she could get herself up on the shore. "Over here."
She jumped up quickly and pulled herself up on the shore when she got the chance. She had a little too much for swimming for the day. She grumbled slightly and she shook off her coat, a little annoyed at the puff that her coat got when she came out of the water and she wasn't going to be happy when it came to getting mud out of her paws.

Tsensu followed Lithium as she jumped out of the water onto the edge of land next to the river. He jumped out after her and shook his fur as well. When Tsensu shook his coat he suddenly got dizzy. It must be the wound. When he shook his fur he was unaware that a small traces of blood splatted on Lithium's fur.
Tsensu looked up at Lithium and saw blood on her side, not a lot, but in contrast to her white fur it was hard to miss. "Oh my...!" His eyes widened. "Did I hurt you that bad when we were swimming, I mean, the scratching?" he said in a concerned voice. Tsensu felt bad and felt like he should clean it. "If I may..?" He didn't wait for her permission to tenderly lick the spot and rid her fur of the blood. But little did Tsensu know that the blood that stained her fur wasn't her's at all.
