Leviathan couldn't help but to chuckle, "Well... a flier might work but we can't let the princesses know that we are coming. They tend to flee when they know a dragon is chasing them." It was another problem with them but it was alright, he would find them eventually and steal them away as his own!
Bugs were an acquired tasted? He supposed that made sense. He gave a nod over that and the fact that peanut butter was icky. He found this boy to be a reliable enough source of information, likely due to his own liking of him. What was not to like with how Vance reacted to him and everything he'd said thus far?
"Of course, I am always looking for new and interesting addictions to my army. I believe that you will be one. Likely your job will grow more important as you grow as well since you will be able to bring me more and more important information." For now Vance could only tell him about various foods but as he grew he would be able to bring information that was more meaningful to his army and the way that he moved it.

"Ooooh... gotcha." So the Princesses weren't supposed to know? Oh, so it was a secret operation, like spies....or ninjas. Ninja spies. Vance would have to give this lots of thought!
Vance puffed up, absolutely swimming in the idea that he was now a useful soldier of the Ocean Lord. His dreams to be a big kid someday grew even more important now, since he would get bigger and more important duties when he did. He ran in place for a moment in excitement, then stood up straight and saluted Levi eagerly. "What kinda in-for-mat-shun do you need now?" He asked in a loud voice, his eyes a glitter, hoping to be set out on a mission.

Leviathan couldn't help but to chuckle, quite amused by the fact that the boy was even going so far as to salute him. It was official now, he liked this kid quite a bit. Even if he weren't able to bring him all the information that he would like he would still enjoy having him in his army for no other reason then the fact that he was so enthusiastic.
"Lets see... well for the moment I would say anything interesting that you can share with me. I don't leave my territory often since I can't leave it open to attack by my many enemies." He explained to Vance, leaving out the part about how a lot of his enemies were people that he'd ticked off due to the various stunts that he'd pulled in his time. He was a bit of a spoiled creature but since he had the strength to do so he was able to back up his childish ways with power. And creativity given that he'd made threatening signs to put up on the beach to help in keeping humans away.

Oh wow. Master Levi must be incredibly important to have enemies! Vance decided he must take this very seriously... or at least as seriously as a toddler could muster. It was probably more like a game.
Vance raised his hand high, signalling he had something to say. "Power Team is only on TV on Friday morning now and not Saturday! Saturday has Mall Girls instead now!" He proclaimed loudly. Apparently, the Power Team was some sort of show the child liked. "Mall Girls is dumb. Don't watch it." Vance let his hand fall back to his side. That show didn't make sense to him. Just some group of girls talking at a mall. How boring. No fighting monsters or anything.
"And um.." Vance thought for a moment, rubbing his head with a furrowed brow. "The red ones are spicy." Red what? Maybe a pepper or candy? Vance nodded, seemingly pleased with himself. "I gotta go now! I left Daddy with a bunch of girls and he promised he'd swim with me!"

Levi blinked a couple times before he started to laugh as he was given a bunch of disjointed information that meant very little to him but it was a start he thought to himself. Being an informant was a skill that the boy would get better at as he grew Leviathan thought to himself. He couldn't expect him to be a Master of the skill already though he hoped he started to pick up on more interesting information later, things that would help him out in his war against his many enemies.
"You have to go? Alright, if you would keep it a secret that you met with me? I would rather you not end up in trouble for being one of my men, after all I don't know where my enemies are or how many they number." He cautioned his new informant before he pushed up on his coils, rolling his shoulders, "Keeping secrets is an important part of your job."

Oh, so he had to keep it secret? It was a bit disappointing, since he wanted to brag about being in an army. But apparently it was part of the job. Vance made a determined face and nodded. "I'll do my best!" He said with great enthusiasm. This was important to keep secret! Vance smiled again, looking excited. But boy, the Lord of the Ocean sure had a lot of enemies. But who would hate him? He was so cool! Silly people. they should know better!
"Bye bye King Levi!" Vance called out, then ran across the sand, stumbling a lot since he still wasn't very good at it. Sand was so weird! Why was it so weird?
The toddler found his way back to Donovan, who although he had the company of some very pretty girls, was a little upset with the boy for wandering again. Then again, Donovan himself knew he needed to be a little more attentive. He even went as far as to sacrifice the company of the girls and took the boy swimming, just the two of them, all the while Vance kept his secret about Levi. It helped that playing with his dad distracted him anyway.

Pleased with the events of the day Leviathan gave his beach a quick scan to make sure that everything was alright, that nobody else was daring to tread the sands uninvited before he turned around and headed back out into the watery part of his territory. Now that business was taken care of he'd decided that he was going to find himself some lunch, now to see what was swimming around in his part of the ocean and what he was going to claim as his meal. He hoped that it was something interesting and tasty like fish or a small shark perhaps.
