Ryuu's eyes got wide as he saw the moth, his entire body going tense as though he were going to try to pounce on it... then forced himself to relax when Vance said that the first thing they needed to do was to wait for it to land. His tail set to lashing behind him and he tightened his grip on the bug catching net that he was holding in his mouth as they started to sneak ever closer to the bug. This was so very exciting! He'd never gotten to go on a bug hunt with someone else before! It made it seem so much more fun then when he did so on his own just to get himself something to much on.

The little dragon was shifting and squirming on Vance's shoulder, his eagerness to pounce was evident but he was going his very best to keep from jumping into action to early. After all he wasn't the only one playing the game so he didn't want to rush it and let the moth get away, "We are gonna totally catch it!" He said in an excited whisper around the net he was holding.

Ryuusei hunched down against Vance's back as they got close to the bug, watching the way that it landed on the flower. His tail set to wagging wildly behind him and he gave a purring sound as he tightened his grip on the net he held. When he was told to go he rushed forward and jumped off of Vance's shoulder to bring the net down on the moth... or at least where the moth had been.

The dragon watched it as it fluttered off and he quickly shuffled along after it before he pushed up into the air, floating quickly along after the creature, taking a few more swipes at it before he finally caught the moth with the net causing him to squeal in delight before he floated back over to where he'd left Vance, "I did it!" He squealed around the handle of the net.

Ryuusei gave a happy sound as he watched the way that Vance transferred the moth from the net and into the jar. He squatted down so that he could watch the way that it fluttered around in the jar before he looked up at Vance in a curious manner. So he was going to let his moth go after a while? That was interesting he thought to himself though better to let it go free if he wasn't going to eat it then keep it trapped in the jar.

As he rested in one spot, watching the way that the bug moved around before he looked up at Vance, "Is there any tall grass? The grasshoppers go there and they taste good." He chirped, tail wagging rapidly behind him, purring a bit as he thought about those. They were really fast which was the problem with catching them and they could jump pretty far as well. When one could catch them though it was good eating.

Ryuusei's star ended tail wagged as he thought about the grasshoppers, "They are... odd looking, lots of legs and the back ones are really long and them jump really, really far!" He said in an overly excited tone of voice. He was sure that with two of them chasing after that sort of bug that they would be able to better catch them since they could work together against the magnificent jumping bugs.

He gave a smile when Vance suddenly announced where the tall grass was located and he hurried to shuffle along after the bigger boy, excited to see where the tall grass was located and even more excited to see the garden since he hadn't seen one close up. He looked around at the plants that were around them, all of them far taller then Ryuu was when he was walking around in the grass. The plants helped to make him feel that much smaller he thought to himself before he bumped into Vance as he paused where the tall grass was, "Oops... sorry! Was distracted." He said, giving a giggle.

The little dragon moved around Vance so that he could look around in the tall grass before he hurried forward to jump into it and caused the various bugs to scatter in all directions giving away their positions.

Ryuusei was in complete and total awe of Vance as the boy suddenly snapped out his tongue to catch a bug, easily defeating it and swallowed it, "WOW! That was cool!" He cried out, shuffling over to his friend before gazing up at him in wide eyed wonder, "Do that again? I wanna see it again!" He chirped, bouncing up and down in place, hoping that Vance would do his awesome tongue trick a second time so that he would be able to get a closer look at it. While it was something he wished he could do he found himself wondering if it were a Vance only trick like his stars and their power was a Ryuu only trick... it was possible, a shame though as Ryuu would love to be able to snatch up food with his tongue!

Ryuu bounced up and down in place, eager to see that tricked used again. It was the coolest thing that he'd seen in some time. Someone who could capture bugs with his tongue, it was just... just... awesome! Something he almost wished he could do since that would make catching dinner a whole lot easier when things got lean when it came to finding people that would buy food for him.

Vance's tongue snapped forward to catch another bug and Ryuu cheered for him, tail wagging wildly behind him. That the bug was a bad one registered after the faces that Vance made and the silver dragon made a mental note not to try catching or eating any of that kind, "That bad? Maybe we should find a better tasting one to get the taste out of your mouth?" He suggested.

At the question posed to him Ryuu turned to look at his stars in a thoughtful manner, tail swishing a bit then he smiled, "They are magic stars!" He chirped, grinning away, "I glitter because of the magic!" He couldn't explain his magic though since it was special, there was a rule that said he couldn't tell people he could grant wishes so they had to just happen to wish for something and he could give it to him. It was to keep people from being selfish he supposed.

If a dragon couple blush the little silver one probably would have been when Vance complimented him and told him that he was cool. His tail swished behind him and he gave a smile, "Thank you!" He chirped, tail swishing excitedly behind him. Ryuusei looked around at himself, at all of his stars, then chuckled and shook his head when he was asked if he had fallen into a bowl of glitter... the Vance declared that a fairy had put the dust on him, both things caused him to give a little laugh and made his tail wag, "I don't know, I have always been glittery so... maybe that was how it started."

He wondered if at some point his star had fallen into glitter before he was born... it could be and maybe that glitter had transferred to him when he appeared. It would make sense, "Colorful... hrm... Maybe?" He wasn't sure, he didn't know a whole lot about bug himself, "Let me help catch one!" If he could catch a good one maybe he could share it with Vance he though as he hopped forward and into the grass, once more kicking things up into the air and he set to work trying to chase after a few at once which had him running around in random circles.

Ryuusei kept moving as he was given encouragement and he hurried chased after a grasshopper, a rather big one, as it hopped from place to place to place before he jumped to try to catch it much missed... though it would seem that at least he was good at herding since the bug went flying straight toward Vance.

"Oh! Oh! Catch it Vance!" The little dragon squealed, tail wagging wildy as he raced forward toward his friend.
