Smiling Melody’s tail wagged happily, “That’s so interesting!” Her smile was so big and her teeth so white as she gazed up at this cloud covered male. Her heart felt as if it would beat right out of her chest, she was never able to have a conversation with another for this long.
”I wish I had been named something cool like that.” Frowning Melody could feel her sadness start to creep up on her again, this wasn’t good! Biting her lip Melody shook off the mood killer emotion and tried to think of another conversation starter, “What’s your favorite thing to see formed in the clouds?”

"What's wrong with Melody? I like it." A slight tinge of something floated into his voice as if that should decide everything. Not that Chochokpi was arrogant, more or less he had moments of disliking his name. It was something that others used to make fun of him, the more unsavory bullying lot. Melody seemed like such a normal name, not much one could turn that into to be a brat.
He gave his head a shake and looked back up to the sky. "Butterflies. They're fun to chase," he replied. The clouds above shifted, pulling and twisting about. "I see lots of kittens in the clouds. You?"

Opening her mouth to interrupt the male Melody closed it quickly; she had to learn to be normal like Chochokpi! ‘I can do it…’ Nodding Melody liked listening to this guy; he made sense and seemed nice and honest. Everyone she knew before had always lied to her then just never wanted to hang out with her again, it wasn’t fun knowing you were hated behind your back.
Looking to the clouds Melody sighed, they were so beautiful and peaceful and made her forgot about the world. But then they made her feel like she was going to cry because it was so beautiful!
Swallowing back a sob Melody smiled, “I see a mommy cat yelling at her kittens.”

He tilted his head trying to see the momma cat but wasn't sure he actually did. "Why's she yelling?" It seemed a valid question and it was probably better than trying to pursue why she sounded like she wanted to cry again. He was sensing a pattern.
As his neck was beginning to get sore from looking upward, he rolled onto his back. It was easier to see that way and he could point to pictures if asked.

Frowning Melody wondering herself, why was the mommy cat yelling at her kittens? “I guess because they’re not doing what she’s saying…” She could remember getting yelled at by her friends for being too emotional, ‘Don’t think about it…’ Biting her lip Melody swallowed back more sobs, this is a record for her; she hasn’t cried in the last 5 minutes!
Quickly trying to change the topic Melody looked through the clouds, “Hey look! That one looks like a dragon!”

Chochokpi wrinkled his nose up, that wasn't a very good reason for yelling. He brushed if off and decided not to reply to that. It seemed he really didn't need to. Instead he stretched out leisurely on his back, looking up as she said something about a cloud that looked like a dragon.
"Suppose it does," he consented, a rather upside down dragon from his vantage point. He unconsciously used his paws to groom his fur as he let his mind wander, gazing up at the clouds to see what would appear. "I see a ship now," he twitched his nose towards it.

Looking in the direction of where Chochokpi was gesturing too Melody’s tail wagged happily, “It does look like a s**t!” Laughing Melody curled into a small ball her tail coming up to her face as she cuddled against it, she could fell asleep like this. Inching closer to the male Melody snuggled towards his coolness.
“You’re so cooling to the touch…” Sighing Melody’s eyes lazily started to close as she gazed upward. This was so peaceful, she was never able to experience stuff like this before people always snuck away before she would befriend any of them. Before becoming too emotional at the thought Melody’s mind started to wonder into a sleepy like state.

He looked askew at the female as she cuddled up to him, perplexed when her breathing became slow and even. Until he realized she had fallen asleep. He took the time to really look at Melody.
She had a rather nice looking pelt, soft aqua like water melding with the crisp coming of dawn blue during winter. In fact, without her wavering emotions--he thought she looked almost pretty. There were still a few streams of drying tears that made her look a little pitiful and he had to blink at the odd urge to wipe them away, to protect her from crying more.
He made a face at the odd thoughts in his head, carefully turning onto his stomach and draping his tail over the girl. Not that he would admit to doing such for any reason at all. No, he merely looked up at the sky and continued his cloud watching.

Turning just slightly in her sleep Melody yawned and stretched letting out a snort, not a pig like snort but a snort like she was disgusted with something. “I don’t believe it…” Her eyes tightly shut as her dream went on.
Melody turned once more, “No one would ever…” Cuddling closer to the male Melody’s dreams took a hold of her mind, running through all of the males and females she met only to have them laugh in her face or run away from her when her back is turned. What was she sleeping on? It couldn’t be a someone; no one would ever… like her…
“Maybe so… But so comfy.” Snuggle further against her new friend, if that was possibly Melody’s emotions took a break for once in her life as she slept. Her body relaxing with the need of less stress in life.

Chochokpi wasn't sure what she was talking about, but tensed slightly as she snuggled closer to him. Once he had reassured himself that he wasn't trapped, he relaxed and curled his tail around Melody so she might know he was still there.
He hadn't ever met someone who talked in their sleep and was a bit perplexed on if he was supposed to reply or ignore it. "No one would ever what?" he found himself asking, wondering if she could hear him or would answer him in her sleep.

Twitching just slightly Melody snuggled further against this new male in her life, “Ever do this…” Mumbling her response Melody slept soundly, talking in her sleep was common only this fault was one she didn’t know of and if she did she would most certainly try to break this one as well.
“Ever do anything…” but she did still continue to talk a lot even in her sleep, “with me.”

"That's silly," he stated with a wrinkle of his nose. He gave a rough huff deep in his chest, "Ain't nothing wrong with you." All right, that wasn't entirely true, "You're a bit overemotional," he corrected with a sigh. He rested his head on his front paws not knowing what else to say at the moment.
He didn't want to leave it on that note. She obviously didn't have a lot of confidence and she probably needed all the reassurance she could get. "You're all right though." He sighed, he needed to learn how to give pep talks.

Tensing in her sleep Melody nodding agreeing with Chochokpi even though she was asleep, she seemed more relaxed and accepting when asleep. Though she would probably think of that as a bad thing and cry about this scene of events later, but for now Melody relaxed once again at the calming sound of Chochokpi’s voice.
“Mmm…” Snuggle, “Thank you…” what else could one say to that?
“You’re pretty…” Well if there was anything to be said Melody would be the one to sniff it out and say it. Truthfully she had meant to say, 'You're pretty alright as well...' but a yawn caught her attention, stretching out Melody's cut off sentence turned into a come on sentence.

He let out a snort, chuckling dryly and shaking his head in disagreement. He was not pretty. Not that he was ugly but he had no sense of his own looks. He knew he was blue with tufts of white fur outlined with black--and that was good enough for him because it was so like the sky. "Boys aren't pretty, they're handsome. Girls are pretty," he corrected the slumbering female.
Still he supposed it was a nice compliment. He couldn't remember anyone calling him pretty before. He gave Melody a thoughtful glance, maybe there was more to her than tears and crying and loudness.

Shaking her head lazily Melody let out a puff of breath, “I… Think not.” And truly she did believe that females and males could be the same kind of pretty. But then again in her eyes everyone seemed equal, unless of course they yelled at her or tried their best to make her cry or hurt her feelings… the list is endless really. “Mmmm Pretty…” Cuddling more so Melody almost seemed like she was going to climb on top of the male to get as comfortable as possible.
And then surprisingly Melody did attempt to climb onto the male, “Comfy…”
