Maybe he still had it, after all. This female's reactions were giving Necros confidence, but he had to be careful not to let his guard down. This was amusing, and he didn't dare accidentally harm her just yet. The back of his mind, though, had different ideas. Images of Millanna crouched before him, nipping his chin. Pressed into the grass and the dirt. Damn it Necros, Focus! To be drawn in so easily would be foolish, even if it had been a long time since he had tasted a willing female's affections.
He was so close to her. Again he was amazed that she didn't flee. Pretty veiled face, absolutely locked on his with fascination. She was making it hard not to fall back into his old ego! His muzzle slipped close enough to her ear for one quick movement to rip it off if he chose. Reminding himself what he could inflict helped Necros stay in control of this situation. He couldn't believe what he was about to admit.
"I'm going to do it all over again. There are always wolves who want to be feared, infamous, powerful. I'll make them all live forever, in legend or in reality. Imagine it, a band of murderers led by death itself."

Her silver eyes went wide beneath the mask as his words brushed against her ear. Words that were dangerous and wicked sounding and yet, and yet...her mind wandered. Was it truly murder when death came for you? Was Necros bound by the rules of morality that she and her own family so strictly followed? She thought of her fallen sister and the pack that had taken her life. What would it be like to sweep in on the heels of death and have your revenge? What would it be like to be able to silently protect the ones she loved from death itself? If she followed Necros, if she saw his band and led them away from her family...would they be safe forever?
If she learned how he did what he did could she return someday with immortality for everyone she loved? The idea was intoxicating, almost as delightful as the shivers that ran down her spine at the older males touch. She wanted to ask him to take her with him, to let her come, to let her learn. Her voice wouldn't work though it was as though a single strand of sanity remained telling her not to follow this path. Perhaps if her mother hadn't scorned her, if she hadn't always felt like a shadow of her older sister, if she hadn't been coddled...but the past was past. She breathed out softly a bare whisper of words. "Let me come?"

Somewhere deep in the depths of the feelings that Necros never spoke of, he hoped that some remnants of the ladykiller he once was were still visible, and that this female was genuinely fascinated with him for this reason. He knew it wasn't true, but for a moment, it was nice to believe it so. Her whispers, her shivering form so close to his, that form, so familiar from a past that he would have to push aside if he were to truly build a future for himself.
Had Necros been bestowed a different gift, he might have known a little more about her motivations for coming along, and perhaps have been even more impressed with her. Vengeance, death, and a burning desire to protect your own. Admirable qualities he would know nothing of unless he asked. As it stood, the nearly breathless words struck him as odd, but welcome just the same. Something stirred that he hadn't felt since before his natural death, a real feeling of power. One was willing to follow him, and now he believed there could be others. He would corrupt this one first, and she would be at his side, a fine replacement for Castaway in another life.
"I wouldn't have it any other way."
