Et set Vivina in a chair and taught her the lessons she missed. She got her white board and a marker and told Vivi to copy down what she did. "Alright Vivi, first we'll do letter A. First, draw a line down like this (/)....then another the other way like this ( )....and finally cross over in the middle like this (A)..." She turned around and watched the child write out her letters.
Vivina took her pencil and copied down what her mother wrote. She drew a crooked line diagnally to the left and to the right and then crossed the two lines horizontally. She showed Et and smiled.
Good Vivina! Now for the letter B. First draw a line straight down (|)...then curve a line about halfway down...(P) and then make another curve to the bottom of the line...(B)." She leaned over to see Vivina hard at work.
Vivina hated drawing the rounded edges, but she managed to make a decent B. She made several more Bs as practice and showed it to Et.
Et smiled once again at Vivina's determination to master the ABCs. "Now for an easy letter, C! All the letter is is a curve, like half of a circle." She wrote C on the board with a quick flick of her wrist and set the marker down.
Vivina sighed as another letter had a curve in it. This particular one was all curve. She placed her pencil on the paper and drew a wobbled curve. She looked at it with dissatisfaction and frowned. She drew another one, faster this time. This one looked much better and had less wobbly lines. She smiled and showed Et her work.
Et pet Vivina's head. "That's really great! here, now I'll teach you the lower case letters." Et wrote the small ABCs and taught then to Vivina. When Vivina was done, she smiled. "Good job! Now you can work on your worksheet. Here are some markers I bought to help you." She handed Vivina the ABC sheet and the box of 50 markers. She saw Vivi grin as she stared at all the pretty colors.
She opened the box and immediately took out an olive colored marker to color the alligator with. She knew alligators were green since she did see them while watching Animal Planet with some of Et's cats. She colored the A in and then the alligator. She looked at it and smiled. The marker went out of the line in several places, but still looked nice. She chose a chocolate color for the B and pink for C. Then she took a blue and green marker and wrote the letters again, both capital and lower case letters with the blue and just capital with the green. The she looked at all the other colors and since they looked all pretty to her, she decided to color the sheet with pretty colors. She took several markers and colored lines in the bottom left corner. When she was done, she gave the sheet to Et.

Et took the sheet and put it in a folder. She then told Vivina that they were going to go do the rest of the ABCs after something to eat. She went and grabbed a snack and gave it to Vivina to eat. When Vivina was done eating her chocolate cover grasshoppers, Et finished the ABC lessons up to L. "Alright Vivi. After this, we'll stop for the day. Tomorrow we'll finish the rest of the letters and hopefully you'll be able to write you name!" She pet Vivina's head and cleaned up the table.
Vivina sat there smiling at her hard work. Then went to hang her worksheets on the refigerator with all the flower and insect magnets avaiable. "Mami! Lookie! I put papers on refwidjerlaydur!" She ran up to Et and hugged her, recieving a kiss to her cheek and an extra cookie as a reward.

Journal Entry 1
It's been a month already! I can't believe I've not noticed the time flying by! Lately I've been caught up with things, but I'm managing. Vivina has grown so much from when I first received her. She knows her ABCs and 123s, how to read and write basic material, and how to make friends. She's been working on her ability to glide short distances a lot also. Her jump and gliding are almost perfect. It's just her landing she needs work on. Nevertheless, she's a determined girl. Her personality reminds me of myself when I was around her age. I used to be so active in everything and wanted to make lots of friends. She's like a minime!
I can't wait until she's able to get her dragon. I've been thinking about this for a while. Since which dragon the child will recieve is based on his or her abilities, who knows what Vivi will get! I hope it's a nice one that Vivi will like. I wouldn't want her to end up with a dragon she hated or is scared of. Then again, she's a brave little girl. She'll be able to handle tough situations. I wonder what she'll be like when she grows...I hope she doesn't lean towards the misbehaving side like most of the cats in the household...
Vivina has met her adoptive father and loves to play with him whenever he has time to visit. She just loves playing with his fox tail. Uncle Azaryn, Syneis's brother and my brother-in-law, has come by also, though his cold-hearted nature continues to baffles Vivina today. Her 'named' relatives are either close friends of mine or my other adopted children. For instance, Vivi calls Bane 'daddy' as a replacement when Syn is off exploring. I just sit on the couch utterly amused as she goes off naming everyone. The household contains a lot of pets, from cats and dogs to sea lions and fox boys. My biological son is starting to get lost among all the cats and foxes. He is a cat/fox hybrid afterall. Speaking of which, Colin and Vivina seem to get along just fine. They share common likes and dislikes with exceptions on color, food, and clothes. Colin still wonders why Vivina has such large eyes, even after I've explained it several times. Oh well. Family life is going by smoothly.
Well, I've nothing else to really say. Vivina's the best thing I could've won from a New Years event. She's my child and I love her deeply. If I weren't so caught up with work and all, I would spend more time with her. Hmm...I'll have to wait a while before my work lessens. Until then, I hope Vivina will learn to care for herself and others and also learn new skills.

A child is expected to know certain things at certain ages. In order to obtain rights to their Dragon(egg), they must prove they can meet these requirements. The following sheet is for your child to fill out, with mild help from their guardian, then sent back to D-corp. (PM ot the mule) Also any changes, even minor such as haircuts, should be reported to the D-corp to be logged and filed. Thankyou, The Boss.

Growth Form
Cameras Are Bad For Your Eyes... (What happened not too long after she filled out the form...)
Yes, it's been a while since Vivina got her picture taken. She hates those cameras a lot, but now she really despises them. It's a funny story really. Well not to Vivina....Anyway, here's how the story went.
It was a dull, standard day in the middle of winter. I wanted to get stuff for a picture album so I started to gather all of the photos lying around the house. I organized the part about me and decided to do a section about Vivina. That's when I realized that I had only 5 pictures of her, all of them from when she was first given to me. I thought for a moment and then decided to get Vivina's picture taken at the photography studio down town. I knew she hated getting her picture taken due to the blinding light of the flash, so I had to take her to the place secretly and inconspicously. I decided to take her on a walk through town to make her comfortable with the place and not make her think of anything suspicious. She tagged along willingly and clung to me throughout the streets of town.
I took her to a candy shop and told her she could get whatever she wanted, just as long as it was within my budget. She eyed the Honey Hives, miniture chocolate drops in the shape of a bee hive with succulant honey in the center. She grabbed two boxes of it and a large cotton candy flavored lollipop. The candy was on sale so I didn't spend as much as I thought I would. We left the store, Vivina popping a hive into her mouth. I had one myself and was enchanted by the unique taste of honey and milk chocolate. I could see why Vivina liked them so much. She always had a sweet tooth that would never wear out, no matter how much sweets go though her mouth. I skipped to the next store where we looked for some clothes. Vivina was getting big and needed a new variety of clothes rather than dresses. I bought her shirts and pants as well as some skirts, though most of them had to be fixed to fit her tail and patagiums. Vivina chose some jewelry and accessories and left the store contently. I actually made Vivina wear a blue skirt and a light purple blouse for the remainder of the walk. She was fine with this and so we continued.
We managed to get to the photo studio in time for the appointment I made. Vivina eyed the place carefully, but all she saw was a child care center-like interior. I had the studio change things around just for this occasion. I noticed a camera hidden behind a mirror and grinned. These people were really smart. I signed in and whispered to the photographer to go gentle with the flash. He grinned and made Vivina sit in front of the mirror, saying that this is a test to see if she can describe herself using the mirror. She agreed to do so and sat in the seat and observed her reflection. The photographer went behind a door and from what I could hear, he was getting the camera ready. I sat not too far from Vivina and told her to keep observing until the man came back. When I heard the man say the magic word (to tell me that he was ready), I told Vivina to smile and see how big she could smile. She did so and a blinding flash shone though the mirror for a brief second. The flash was so bright that even I had to rub my eyes for a moment or two. Then I heard a shrieking noise.
I ran over half blind and eyes watery to Vivina to find that she was rubbing her eyes and sobbing. She was screaming out that her eyes burned and she couldn't see. I saw the man come out and realized that he used the double sided mirror instead of the single sided false one. He explained that the mirror refracted the flash to be brighter than normal and told me that this picture was to be free of charge. I was thankful of his apology and accidents like that can happen, but I was more worried about Vivina so I told the photographer where to send the picture and all that stuff and left for an eye doctor at once.
Fortunately, there was one across from the studio. While we crossed the street, Vivina wailed about me lying to her and about her eyesight being blurry. I rushed in and ignored the complaining of the receptionist and busted into the doctor's office without permission. Thankfully, no one but him was there. I quickly explained what happened and stared at the old doctor's watery eyes. He was shocked and angry that I busted in without an appointment, but I saw sympathy in those eyes and he thought the manner venial. I quickly apologized and sat Vivina down in front of him. He looked at her and back at me. I could tell that he has never seen the likes of Vivina around and was quite uncomfortable. He checked Vivina's eyes out by giving her a series of sight tests. He took notes on each test meticulously. I sat there for what seemed an eternity until the doctor came up with the results. He told me that she was not blind, but her eye sight is still poor and that she requires glasses. He sat Vivina down in a seat and used a large apparatus used to see how stong of a lens she would need for the glasses. When he shifted the apparatus' dial for the fourth time, Vivina muttered that she could see perfectly now. The doctor scribbled something down and gave the note to me. It was a prescription for glasses. I thanked the doctor so much and shook his hands. For payment, I had to go back to apologize to the receptionist and then pay the bill. It was expensive and I didn't know if I had enough to get the glasses. I shrugged and thought that I should carry a bit more on me next time if something like this were to happen again.
We both stopped at a glasses shop before going home and picked out a nice, circular, silver-rimmed pair. While we waited for the glasses to be fitted and made to fit the doctor's note, I told Vivina why I had to get her picture taken. She replyed back with a laugh. She asked me if there were any non-flash cameras and I nodded. The hit me across the arm and complained why I didn't use them. I shrugged and said that sometimes people like me who are busy all the time tend to forget that some things exist. I retreived the glasses and bought a case that goes with it. After that, we went home with candy, new clothes, and a new pair of silver glasses.
That night, I pondered over the day's events as Vivina was fast asleep. I regretted for not thinking of alternate plans and a lot more other things. Nobody's perfect in this world. I'd really like to be Nobody anytime in the future. Then I wouldn't have to worry about things too much and won't make careless mistakes. I laughed at the idea and decided to go to sleep as well.
The next day, the picture was delivered. The photos turned out very nice and it even made Vivina smile. I took the large one and placed it in a frame while I kept one of the smaller ones in the photo album. The rest I saved for family and friends and for future uses. I promised myself in front of Vivina that I wouldn't make such a dumb and careless action again. I wonder if she will hold a grudge against me for a while...

I heard that there were special classes being set up and took a look for myself. I found out there was one for flying and decided to see if Vivina would fit in. It seems that they accept gliders as well so I sent Vivina in to correct her landing and overall gliding performance. She's been waiting for a chance to glide properly like the way real suagr gliders do. She even told me that after watching a TV program on sugar gliders. Animal Planet has it all...
I'm also glad that Vivina has made new friends. She is bound to make more since she recently signed up for the D-Scouts. I was waken up early in the morning for this, but I think it'll benefit for Vivina at the end. Afterall, she is willing to learn and have fun. I wonder if Vivina will make enemies...How can anyone refuse to say that she's adorable? My brother for one...
Uncle Jesus is a bad infuence and Vivina should stay away from him and his mysterious and dark ways. He's got a need to pummel me with pillows and other bedroom items. I should do something about it, but sadly he's got control over me, even though I am older. I suppose I'll let life go on and avoid him in the future. The other relatives are no problem at all. I'm going to have to make a list of who to be careful of soon. I wonder why I haven't thought of that sooner...

Dear Journal, Mum told me to write anything that I feel like, so I will. Lately, I've been itchy a lot. I told mum about it, but she said it may be a rash and she gave me this white goop to put on. It made the itching go away, but then it came back in a few hours. My tail is all itchy and I can't stop it from knocking things over. Mum's getting mad at me. I also keep itching around my head. My ears annoy me a lot. I wonder what's wrong. Mum said that she'll call a doctor to see me. I heard that doctors have sharp pointy needles that hurt when they give you something called a shot. I don't think I'm getting a shot, but I'm still scared. I hope the doctor is nice.

Lice Begone!
((Appointment: Here))
Guess what? I finished going to the doctor's today! The doctor was Kat and she told me I had lice. Mum told me what lice was when we got home. She told me it was these small white bug things that live in hair and fur. They bite my skin and make it irritated. I even drew a picture of what I thought they looked like. I made it look scary. I don't like it, but I kept it anyway.
Mom made me take a bath. I love baths and couldn't wait to get rid of these lice. The bath tub was filled with warm water when Mom told me to come in the bathroom. I came in and took my dress off before stepping in the water. I sat in there and waited for mum to do the rest. She took a bowl and poured some water over my head so my hair and fur would be wet. Then she used the shampoo. Kat was right, it didn't smell like the other shampoo I have. This one smelled like soggy newspapers that has been on the driveway too long. Icky!!!
Mom rubbed and combed my hair and fur with her hands. It tickled so I started to laugh. Mom told me to stand up so she could wash my legs and my tail. It got cold when I did. Mom used up two and a half bottles of the shampoo when she was done. I looked at myself in the mirror near the bathtub. I looked like one the sheep near the buildings. I sat back down in the water and let mum wash the shampoo off. It felt good and some of the itching stopped.
When the bath was done, I got out and dried myself with a big fluffy towel. My fur got all fluffy and I looked like a cotton ball. Mom combed my fur down and checked one last time to see if I had any like left. She saw none and I smiled. Mom cleaned out everything and I went to my room. Mom stopped me before I did. She already had my clothes in her room so I went there and put the shirt and pants on. I went back to Mom and she said something about cleaning up my room. I frowned and waited outside as she brought a big bag in my room.
I saw her grabbing all my toys and putting them in there. She was doing what Kat said. I was about to say something when Mom grabbed Mr. Floppy and put him in the bag. I stopped myself when I realized that I didn't want lice again. I sat against the wall and watched Mom finish. She then grabbed all my clothes and sent them down the laundry chute. Then Mom grabbed the carpet cleaner and started to clean the carpet. I got bored with watching her so I went to watch TV.
Mom called me back when she was done. She told me that I had to sleep with her that night while my room needed to be cleaned of lice. I nodded and asked if I would get my toys back. She frowned and told me that they needed to be cleaned by a specialist and that would cost a lot seeing that I have a lot of toys. Otherwise they had to be thrown away. Mom said that she'd buy me new toys tomorrow. That made me happy again. Now I need to find out what I want to buy. Maybe one of those giant stuffed dragons I saw in the toy store a while ago will be nice in my room. Maybe I should find one that would look like my dragon...if I knew what it looked like. Maybe Mom knows? I dunno, I'll ask her later.

Leprechaun's Treasure! Oh joy! Treasure! Vivina dragged Et around everywhere after hearing Kat say that there were treasure to be found lying around. What would the treasure be? Gold? Jewels? Candy? Toys? Whatever it was, Vivina was eager to find anything. "Mum! You're being too slow! I'm a gonna go to the parking place for cars and such, kay?" Without Et's approval, she ran to the parking lot and looked around. There weren't any cars besides the ones that belonged to D-Corp. Tch, no use looking under cars. She decided to peek into the bushes in the middle of the lot, seeing e sheep pen, so she decided not to go there. She wanted to search in obscure places just to be sure if there was anything there. She ran back to Et and told her that she'd be searching around the dome and the lake.
Upon arriving at the dome, she noticed that the doors were locked. Oh darn, off limits. But that didn't mean that there could be anything around the outside of the dome. She scampered aroung the entire circumference of the dome building, not seeing anything there. She frowned and went to the edge of the canyon. She looked down at the glistening lake, wondering if that was off limits. There weren't any doors blocking the way, so why not?
She ran over to the entrance of the canyon and made her way to the lake. She couldn't glide down easily to the lake since she wasn't allowed to. There was no way she could get down there safely, even with a small knowledge on how to glide roughly. Panting heavily, she arrived at the lake and shuffled though the sand, searching under rocks and around small shrubs along as much of the lake she could.
Vivina noticed something golden in the third bush she checked. It was a paper parchment with something written on it. She beamed with joy and rushed back up the canyon to find Et. She didn't stop to catch her breath when she found her mom waiting at the entrance to the building. "Mooooommmmeeeee! I found a clue thing! The paper! The paper! Read it and hurry!!!" She jumped impatiently and waited for a bewildered Et to respond.
Et took the paper and read the message. She puzzled over it and read it for Vivina. "It seems you have to go in this building here and go to the third floor. Then you go find an empty room three doors down. By the looks of the last part of this clue, there should be three more clues." She gave the paper back to Vivina who immediately dashed towards the door. She heard Vivina saying thank you faintly as she disappeared up the stairs. She smiled and and shook her head. What a desperate girl...
Vivina trudged up the stairs and counted the floors. One. There were a lot of stairs to go up. She wondered if anyone else would be there. Two. Is there another way up this building? Do people really have to walk all these stairs to get to the top? Three. This was the floor. She exited the stairwell and counted the doors. There were doors on either side of the hallway, alternating down as far as she could see. She counted the doors also. One door from the left, the second from the right, and the third door to the left. She opened the door, finding it unlocked. She peeked in and turned the lights on. The clue was right. This room was empty aside from three desks, a bookself, and a box. She searched through all the desks, boxes, and bookshelf, but found nothing. Maybe there were hidden doors or rooms in this place or maybe hidden compartments in the desks. Vivina put her hands to the wall and moved slowly, feeling the walls for anything out of place. "I'm gonna find the treasure! And I'm not giving up!" She said that to herself and slowly made her way around all four walls.
Vivina heard a clicking noise and noticed the book on the floor. She must have knocked it down while searching near the shelf. But what was the click? Books don't click. She observed the book and saw that it was some sort of switch disguised as a book. She then heard a loud thud and jumped. She looked behind her and saw that a hidden compartment came out from the wall and landed a centimeter away from her tail. She stood there in shock for a moment then saw three pieces of paper. "A green box, a brightly colored room, and piecing things together? I'm gonna ask mommy..."Vivina ran down stairs after putting the compartment back to where it came from with a little difficulty. She came up to Et again and asked her what it meant.
Et looked at the papers, surprised that Vivina managed to get them without too much difficulty. "A green box? I don't know what that may be. The piecing together, that sounds like a puzzle. You know, the toy where a picture is scrambled and you have to put them together to make the picture correct? And the room, who do you know whose room is brightly colored?" She pet Vivina and handed back the sheets.
Vivina thought for a moment. There's been only one room she's been to that has brightly colored walls. "Kat's room! Thankies mommy!" She ran back inside and went down the hallway to find Kat's classroom. She entered in, surprised to see that no one was in there. She did see Ana leaving the room. She hurried in quickly hoping that she didn't take her clue. She ran in and closed the door. Now to look for a green box and a puzzle set. She searched the toy chest and the playset in the classroom, but found no signs of a green box or a puzzle. She checked under tables and desks and even Kat's desk. Nothing.
She frowned and walked around the back of the classroom where the lost and found table was. Surprisingly enough, there was an open box with puzzle pieces in it. More surprising is that the box itself was green. Just to be sure that this was the box, she looked around for the lid. It was under a jacket left there by some boy. The lid was green and had a clover on it. Yep, this was the puzzle. She looked at each piece and saw that there was something odd about the puzzle. There were some words on it. She couldn't read them all jumbled up. She placed some pieces down and saw that not all have some words on it. Some are blank and some had part of a picture on it. She pondered over this and started to put the puzzle together. Looking at the amount of pieces, she guessed there were about 20 pieces to put together.
Vivina puzzled over the finished puzzle. The picture was of a dig site with gold in the hole. She carefully flipped the puzzle over and saw words. "Look for a room with a rainbow on the handle...that's gonna be easy! I dun need to see mommy for this..." She scrambled the puzzle and placed it back in the box. She snuck out of the room and searched further down the hallway. Looking at each of the door handles, she saw that a pot of gold or a shamrock would be painted onto it. "I need one with a raaaaeeenbow! Rainbow rainbow where is the rainbow.."
She danced down the hallway and came across an open door. She eyed the door handle and sure enough there was a rainbow on it. "Darn, someone got here before me!" She went in and thought about the clue again. "Look outside the window...I see..." Vivina gasped and saw a large dig site, much like the picture on the puzzle as well as another person. She looked to see if there was a door leading outside, but saw none. She grinned and opened a window. She saw Colin doing this back home, why not try it herself? She climbed onto the window ledge and crawled through the window. She waved to the other child and went to dig for herself.
She scrambled around to a small spot of lumpy soil and started digging with her hands and feet. She smiled as she worked quickly. She had done something like this in what Et called a sandbox several times. The dirt was more moist and clumpier than sand, but that didn't really stop her. She dug a hole half the size of her, but found nothing but an earthworm. She giggled and filled the hole up again. She then went to a different location and started to dig there. She did not see the shovels that were placed in the dirt since she was so excited that she was near the end, or so she thought and hoped.
Vivina scrambled along the ground digging up more and more holes, filling each back again when she found nothing but more earthworms. She stood up after her third hole and stretched. She didn't know looking for treasure would be this hard. Then again, looking for anything is hard. Especially finding a person in hide and seek. Colin is the best person at hide and seek she knows of and envies him for it. Plus, he has that keen nose of his. He could probably sniff the treasure out. Her own nose was sensitive, but not good enough to track a scent under the earth.
She sat on a rock and planned where next to dig. The place was large and there were a lot more places to dig from. She looked at her hands and saw that they were caked with dirt and mud. She had been digging in slightly muddy dirt. Grimmacing at her dirty hands, she turned her attention back at the room where she came from. She wondered if any of the other children would be coming soon. She doesn't want to be here alone seeing as the other girl here wasn't talking to her. It seems as if she didn't notice Vivina as she walked through here. She supposed it was for the better and stood up to dig once more.
Vivina looked up and saw that the other girl had gone. Frowning and worried that she had found something first made her grab the shovel, which she just noticed, and tried to dig near some rocks. The dirt there was hard so digging with her hands would hurt. She pushed the shovel in the dirst and it forced it down with her feet. She had to repeatedly stomp down on the shovel to get it down to reasonable depth. "Wah, this dirt is hard hard hard!!!"
She then went to get the dirt out, but the shovel wouldn't budge. It stayed in the position Vivina put it at like a stubborn goat or cow. Frowning, she tried to pull it out. Once again it wouldn't budge. Growing frustrated, she went on the pole of the shovel and began jumping on it. She knew if she stayed at the end, the pole would break so she stayed near the base by the dirt and jumped with all her might. She felt the shovel move a bit and then jumped some more. Almost there....She gave one last jump, but this time towards the end of the pole and...
...a pile of dirt was sent flying to the window. She heard a loud thump and looked back. The clump of dirt had hit one of the closed windows and came falling back to the ground like a rock rather than scattering. She saw that the window wasn't cracked and let out a sigh of relief. If she did break the window, she'd be in trouble. She looked back and into the hole she made. There, a tree root was snapped in half. So that's what made the shovel so hard to pull out. Frowning that she broke a tree, she made sure the two root pieces didn't get in her way and dug with the shovel again, this time the dirt being soft like the others.
Vivina's eyes opened widely as she saw something in the dirt. She dug out the object and saw that it was a bag. Looking at the note, she figured out that she had to go to Kat's room. But before that, she had one thing to do. She ran back through the window and down the hallway. "Mooooommmyyy!!! I found something! Lookie!" She gasped for breath as she ran into her mother's legs.
Et jumped as Vivina came running down the hall. Looking at the bag and how dirty she was, she laughed and gave Vivina a hug. "Good job honey! Take that back to Kat and get your prize!" She nodded and sent Vivina off in a dash. That girl is definitely getting a long hot bath after this...
Vivina ran back in, leaving small traces of dirt behind. She didn't realize how dirty she was and ran into Kat's classroom again. "Miss Kat!!! I got something!!!" Pouncing onto a chair, she observed the bag carefully and waited for what she should do next.Kat Kat grinned, quite pleased with the children for not just tearing into it. "Now open it!" she clapped excitedly. it was the same as the other bag, a spinning top and clover candy. And shiney gold, except this gold was ofcourse different shapes and sizes. Vivina opened it and gazed at her new top. Giving it a spin, she smiled as it spun around and around on the table. She put it back in the bag. "I'm gonna save the candy for later. I don't wanna spoil dinner." She then took out the gold and observed it. Each piece of gold was of a different shape and size. "Ooh...this one looks like a rain drop...and this one looks like a star..." She looked at them for a few more moments and put them back in the bag. "Thankies Kat! I'm gonna show mum now!" And with that, she dashed off to Et.
Vivina jumped though the halls and found Et coming out of the bathroom. "Mum! I got treaure!" She showed her the bag and its contents. Et smiled and congratulated Vivina with a hug. "I need a bath now...I feel icky." She looked at her green clothes, now patched with brown making them look like an army camoflauge suit. "My clothes need washing also."
Et laughed and pet Vivina's head. "That you do. Let's wait until the event is over before we go home, ok?" She looked at Vivina nod and led her outside to sit on a bench. Vivina had begun to play with her top again. Et smiled seeing how happy Vivina was with her reward. She had worked hard today trying to find clues. She wondered if Vivina would be willing to do this again another time. Yes, she definitely would. That answer was obvious.

Now where should I start...Vivina has gotten herself an interest in pirates, treasure, and swords. I told her that when she's 8, she can start fencing. She was way too happy when I did and I sort of regret that decision. I can't back out on my promise now. She'll probably hate me for that.
I think this change in interests started during a movie night at the Mushroom house. The Fuzzy Slipper Gang wanted to see Pirates of the Caribbean. Of course, Vivina was there next to Rowan as usual. She watched the movie with wide, open eyes and I wondered at that time if she liked it or not. I guess she did like it. A lot. Since then, she's been wanting to use my toy wooden sword set from the dress-up box to "fight skeleton zombie pirates" that appear at night.
Now she doesn't believe in the skeleton things, but she still has an interest in learning how to use the sword. She even watches sword fighting movies that include the topics of knights, fencers, pirates, and martial arts with swords. Huh, I guess she got the idea that swords are not only for men since almost all the movies have only guys using swords. Of course when she finds a movie or two with women yielding swords, she gets ecstatic.
Hrm. I've found an excellent place for fencing not too far from the ice cream parlor Vivina went to meet Sahra. I think the place was called "Sparrow's Fencing Academy". It's the best one out there, but not the most expensive. It all works out. I have an application form for her when her next birthday comes around. She'll be happy as ever when she opens the gift I have for her. It's only a matter of days until then. Maybe I should plan a birthday party for her...

Dear Journal, It's my birthday soonish! I can't wait for it! Mom has been going to that fencing place lately and bringing home paper. I wonder what she's been doing. I really hope that I can start classes soon! Mom also said that my dragon's egg is almost ready to hatch! I wonder what it would look like. Until I know what it looks like, I won't give it a name. What if it was a girl and I gave it a guy's name? Or what if the name's meaning doesn't fit? Too many reasons...
Oh yes! I love the wooden sword that mom got me! It's better and more realistic than the toy ones I use for pretend and safe playing. This one's heavy and can hurt people if I'm not careful. It's big also so it's hard to use. I'll get used to it. It's feeling lighter already!
Mom said that I can have a birthday party and invite people I know, but she said to keep it to 6 friends. Oh, that's gonna be hard to choose. I know I'm inviting Laial, Sahra, and Gabby...but the other three are gonna be hard to choose. I know, maybe I can tell them to bring one other friend so I can meet new people! Haha...then we can all use the new playground equipmet out in the backyard. It looks exactly like a pirate ship! It's even got cannons where you can shoot confetti or silly string or stuff like that out of. It's so awesome! Even Colin likes it!
Speaking of which, I think he's jealous just because I'm gonna have a dragon and he's not. I feel bad for him, but at least he's got plushies and glass figurines. I don't have any cause I tend to break glass a lot, which is a bad thing. I'm surprised my own glasses haven't broken yet! Hehe...Anyway, I'm gonna end this entry now cause it's almost dinner time. After that we're going over to the Mushroom House for more movies! I hope it's a good one!

((There, problem solved, Ara xD
Vivina hasn't gotten any hair cuts besides trimming them. She let her bangs grow out and brushes them off to the side of her head and lets them hang behind or in front of her ears. She still ties it up, but lower on her head and sometimes in a braid. Her hair is about as long as to the middle of her back and has violet (like the font color) highlighted tips.
She still has her glasses and scarf, but she is more into wearing loose outfits like those of a pirate. Purple is her main theme with pink accents here and there. She saved her hat to place on her dragon's head. Also if you could, in one of her hands have her holding up a wooden sword, like one of the toy ones.
Her personality has changed slightly as she is more interested in fighting with swords and generally being sneaky. She basically isn't the girly girl she used to be, although she is still very friendly around those she has met before and got to know. She won't tolerate being made fun of and tends to loose her temper.))

Et blinked as she grabbed the form and walked back to the kitchen where she was baking muffins. "Vivina~ there's a message for you! It seems like you need to fill it out!" She waited for the sugar glider to run into the kitchen. As soon as she did, Et was surprised that she wasn't met with a friendly greeting.
"Mom! I'm busy! I'm in the middle of watching a fencing competition! We really need to get TiVo. I mean, Simon's friends all got it. Why can't we?" Vivina paused and saw the paper in her mom's hands and snatched it as quickly as she could. She was surprised her mom didn't notice. She grinned and waved the sheet in front of Et's face.
Et blinked. "Another one? How many are there? That's the third today! And no, we're not getting TiVo unless we absolutely need to. And we don't absolutely need to as of now." She stared at the paper being waved in front of her gasp checked her hand. The paper was gone. "How'd you? Never mind, go and fill it out. It seems D-Corp wants to know a bit more about you. By the looks of things, your dragon's about to hatch. She watched Vivina's eyes widen as she darted off to her room. She heard the door slam and a picture frame falling. She shook her head and went back to the kitchen to see if the muffins were ready.
Vivina caught herself from saying a swear word as she saw that a picture frame had fallen and broken. Thank goodness it was a glassless frame. Sadly, the picture now had a big tear in the center and a piece of the frame was sticking through that tear. Shoving the mess away, she grabbed her purple pen and began to fill it out. The questions were simple and easy, but she had to look up the word "Amphithere" in her dragon book to spell it correctly. She paused at the last question. Now what color would her dragon be? Remembering that they could be a variety of colors, she wrote down a fairly vague answer and smiled as she finished. She grabbed her markers and began to color in the egg. How'd it look like again? It was a pale navy color and it had odd designs. She did the designs in a lighter blue and took a bleach marker to make the egg look shiny. Bleach pens were something she learned to use from Rowan. The fox anthro had enjoyed teaching her how to color with markers. Satisfied with her work, she ran back to her mom and handed the paper to her.
Et looked over the paper and smiled. At least she filled it out on her own. Smart girl. She folded the paper and decided to mail it in later. The oven had made a noise, signalling that the muffins were done. Taking them out, she looked over at Vivina who was sitting on the chair waiting for one. "Viv, these muffins will be hot for a while. You'll have to wait."
Vivina yawned and shrugged. "Eh, I can wait I guess. I mean, muffins are good. Are they brown sugar and cinnamon?" She looked at the muffins and sniffed them to make her her nose was working right. Allergy season was starting to affect her too.
Et nodded. "I suppose, and yes. These are brown sugar and cinnamon muffins." She paused to think for a bit and grinned. "Don't you have something to watch right now?"
Vivina gasped and stood up. "The competition! Oh no!" Forgetting about the muffins, she dashed for the living room and sat on the couch, eagerly hoping that she didn't miss anything important.
Et shook her head took the oven mitts off. At least she won't ruin her dinner this way. "I wonder...will she really be the best at fencing when she starts class? We'll see..." She sat down, head in her hands, and lost herself in thought as she gazed out the window and watched the sun go down slowly.

Dragon Delivery!
8 AM Sunday. Morning time. Usually I'm awake by then and drinking coffee and watching a movie of some sort while Vivina watches cartoons in the other room. Normally it would be a quiet normal morning. Colin would be downstairs with Daniel, learning how to mix chemicals and such. Occasional explosions from below; minor as to not cause any threat or real destruction. That's the typical Sunday. Boring, normal, nothing too interesting Sunday. But this Sunday was different. It was in fact...interesting...
It all started when I overslept. Vivina and Colin were already awake and doing whatever they usually do. I woke up to a loud thud outside, a crash, some men shouting, and a loud, beastly growl. Scrambling out of bed, I ran over to open the front door of the house to see what was going on. Before I got there, the doorbell rang and I sped over to open the door. I was still in my PJs and slippers when I did and noticed that I had a pillow head. However, what I saw next made me forget all about it.
"Holy pope on a stick! What the...is that...a dragon? In MY yard?" I stared at the large, feathered creature sitting on my lawn, minding its own business and rolling in the morning dew on the grass. Three men in labcoats were frantically trying to figure out how to get the dragon back on the leash and into the cage again. Seeing as the dragon was reluctant to get back in the cage anytime soon, I supposed that it didn't like the cage. Shaking my head, I walked out to greet them.
"Hey guys...what's with this dragon on my lawn and why's it...rolling in the grass?" I tapped the shoulder of one of the men, but was only greeted by a yelp of surprise. "Ah...oh...uh...uh...are you the parent of, uh, Vivina? Um...if so...I think this dragon is for her..." I looked from the man to the dragon and back. "Wait...this is for her? So you're saying that this feathered dragon is what came out of the blue egg? Haha...D-Corp could have at least sent a message to Vivina and I could have come and picked it up. Really, you guys shouldn't have bothered bringing it here. Seeing it now, it didn't seem to enjoy the ride here." The man fidgited around and stuttered as he talked again. "Y-y-yes...b-but the others s-said t-t-to deliver t-the- d-dragon...A-and w-we didn't want t-the dragon t-to es-escape w-while bringing it h-here..." He quickly turned around and went back to the other two. One of the other men then came up and greeted me.
"Sorry about him. He hasn't had much sleep lately. So I guess you are Etira. Well...here's the dragon that's supposed to be V-" The man was suddenly interupted with a high pitched shriek of joy. "AAAIYEEEEE!!!! MY DRAGON'S HEEEEERE!!!!!!!!!" I turned around and watched Vivina bounce through the front door and run straight to the dragon. It looked over at her and grinned met her with open arms, er, wings. The dragon had no arms nor legs. Just two large bird-like wings. Vivina looked around her dragon and observed it. "Blue...purple...green...yellow...pretty colors! Uh...but what name do I wanna give you?" The dragon made a strange noise and shrugged.
The man coughed so I would pay attention to him. I jerked my head to meet his eyes and tilted my head to wait for he wanted to say. "Er...right. So I guess I'll leave you with the dragon. If there's any problem, contact D-Corp and all that other stuff...yep. Good bye then." The man gave one last glare at the dragon and left quickly with the other two men. I shrugged and went over to the dragon to pet it. It looked at me and brought its head out for me to pet. Smiling, I stroked its head as Vivina continued to look at her new dragon. "So Viv...what are ya gonna name it?" She paused to think. Oh no, she forgot to ask which gender the dragon was! Thinking of something, she added a last statement before Vivina asked any questions. "Just don't name it anything too masculine or too feminine. The dragon seems like in the middle of both genders."
Vivina looked up at the dragon and smiled. "Okies!!! Uh...um..." She sat there thinking for a bit. She frequently looked over at the dragon as she thought of an appropriate name. "Um...I know! Sephayr! It's like Sapphire, but a bit more manly sounding!" She giggled and hugged Sephayr. "Or Sephy for short!" The dragon twitched at the mention of the nickname and growled. It like Sephayr better, not the shortened Sephy. Shrugging, it slithered over towards the door, seeing as the house was to be its new dwelling place. Beats the dinky old facility. Vivina happily followed it and led it up to her room. Of course, the dragon will have a room of its own, right across from hers. It was a good thing the room was originally supposed to be a library of some sort. I didn't have a reason to use it since I already am using another room as the library. It was perfect. Heh...what an unusual start for a Sunday. Guess I'll go and make the house dragon tolerable...
