(Warning: I'm just doing this so my character exists in Soul Society again. I'm still using my old character since I never killed her off, but I don't know if I'll be able to be active.)

:Glancing below her, Suri studied Soul Society as it spread out within its circular constraints. Nothing had changed very much, except for the usual changing of the guards. Even the gate-keepers had stayed the same - or at least, she assumed so. They all recognized her presence and had no reason to attack, which was why she managed to stand atop the gate at an atypical location then. However, to be safe, Suri did not discount a looming threat that could have eliminated the guard. Seeing shinigami going about their training and duties, slowly but surely, winding through the various buildings, put her more at ease.
She sighed. What compelled her to return? And how long would she be around for? Even those she knew not. Shaking her head, Suri jumped, executing a neat forward flip before relaxing her legs in order to absorb the shock of the landing impact. Cork sandals afforded her some protection, but not nearly as much as some other shoes might. Her shirt might have offered some help, since it was long enough to have flown up for an umbrella effect, if it had not hugged her body in such a form fitting way.
Opting for a more creative option, Suri used her left thumb to flick her katana's guard, thus freeing the sword from it's sheath. Drawing it still with her left hand, Suri made a swift motion and twisted the sword in a circle underneath her, causing a huge wind-blast that cushioned her landing. That move she had perfected when practicing with her shikai, though the effect was notably less with a quiet zanpaku~to. It served its purpose, and Suri landed quietly, locking her zanpaku~to back into its sheath. Glancing around, Suri noted with relief that in its sealed state, her zanpaku~to had not called any unwanted attention to her. Making up her mind, Suri let her feet lead her to what could have been her next calling - 10th squad. Kido could wait a little while longer.:

Toru sat out on a hill over looking the Soul Society. This was his special spot and was his place to think. It was an open hill that was lush and green with a cherry blossom tree sitting on the top. It was the ideal place for thinking and his drawings. Toru began to create a simple sketch of the Soul Society with the many districts while also forming a sort of cartoonic feel. Normally he would sit here, look up at the clouds, and draw monsters that would look like they could leap out and attack you at any moment, but for today he decided to do something more complex. The complexity of the Soul Society gave him the means of imagination and would take up most of his time. Time that he had plenty of for he was waiting on the response to his application to the 10th Division.
The 10th Division was the only reason why he became a shinigami....while he was thinking this he sat his pad and pencil down next to him and made sure his blades were secure next to him. Toru slide down and put his hands behind his head while he started to slip into a deep sleep.....
...Oceans waves were curling around him as the brisk oceanic breeze spun with the wind. Toru found himself on an island in the middle of the desert. The wave were crashing in on the beach while the sun played in the air giving warmth to this island. Toru walked out to the beach and sat in the sand feeling the warmth of the sun. He liked this dream and didnt want it to end. Then the waves changed and a whirlpool began to form in the middle of the ocean. Out of it a creature that look half human and half...what it seemed like sea dragon, appeared and began to walk forward. Toru sat still while waiting for the curious creature approach. Then even though its mouth didnt move sound was produced, "Toru....im your....." His voice was canceled out from a crashing wave to the side. "Toru....i dont have much time...." It looked to the side when another wave which sounded louder than before crashed again. "Toru somethings wrong....wake up!". Trou turned his head to the side in curiosity when behind the creature, that now looked troubled, came a gigantic wave. Torus eyes widened when he got up and tired to run but was swept away from the crashing wake...
Toru waked up and saw a creature roaming over him. It was a hollow, its grotesque like body was staring down on him with drool sliding down his face. Toru's eyes widened when he quickly grabbed his blades and unsheathed them. Toru was filled with confusing thoughts...for how could a dream know what was going on in the real world....how could a dream...He thoughts were stopped with an incoming arm slashing in the air. Toru ducked and dodged by rolling over the the right. The hollow screamed into the air as it charged forward. Letting his blades do all of the work, and with the swift movements of his hands Toru lunged forward and cut the hollow right through the mask. Toru hit the ground and turned to look at the disintegrating hollow. Toru spat at the ground and then went into a deep stare. How could a dream know me so well....?

"For the warrior who never did get a proper grave, Master you deserve a place where you soul and spirit can rest in peace"
Arashi didn't know who it was who had written it, but it touched something deep within his soul, a memory of long ago, or something else he didn't quite know. What he did know is that fate had much in store for him and all would be reviled in time. What mattered to him at the moment was what was ahead of him for the future. He had suffered allot in the past, but now was not the time to be worrying about that, now was the time for him to look to the future and what was in store. For though he did not know it, the blade he carried in his hand was nearly as old as time itself. It was a blade of light, a blade of hope and salvation. And though he didn't know it, this blade had many things in store for the young man, a great many things.
"Are you truly certain about this? I mean after all, your brother and I had worked together for far longer than you and I." This happened on occasion, Arashi would hear, or feel a presence coming from the sapphire and a response come from his sword.
"I am indeed certain my lady, you and my brother had worked together for so long under young Ivellious simply because he was your son, and a father can never pass up a chance to test his son, just like the mother in you could not let him do anything reckless to put himself in harms way. For all the confidence you two held in him, up to the point where he returned to our world, a world in which he belongs, I have confidence in this young boy. Though his mind is uncertain, his heart is pure. My lady you had the chance to leave with my brother, yet you stayed, which means you stayed for a reason, just as my reason for staying is this boy. Many things will shape the future, he is one of those many things."
The sapphire in his left hand fell silent, and though Arashi did not know what had been said, he knew it had something to do with the future. And for reasons he could not possibly explain, he journeyed to Squad 10's section hoping to find acceptance amongst a group of elemental warriors who had been tested in combat more than once....
All that is apart of the cross lore, is the blade and the sapphire, and all it will involve is their backstory and it will effect the Bankai, other than that it won't affect the character period.
