Kazi had never been this patient in his life and it was killing him. He so wanted to run over to Mora to pounce her and pin her down till he had his paintbrush back. However he knew Mora and he knew how she loved her games and so he waited.
He also kept a firm eye on Kianga. She wasn't out of his sight for more then a minute and part of him had grown rather close to her. She was an interesting little cub, very much full of life and about to grow up around two gods. Yes he was starting to feel affection for a cub, not that he would admit it to anyone, especially not Mora.
Now... Mora just had to drop that paintbrush....

"Can't catch me!" she squealed delightedly when she just barely evaded being caught, not realizing it was all a part of the game. She was more than happy to take the credit for it but there was no time to stop, she could hear Mora laughing behind her! She scrambled around, not daring to look back and not daring to look toward Kazi lest she decide it would be a good idea to try to hide behind him and she had no idea if that would end well or not. If it was allowed, he'd be playing too.
So she kept running!

"Oh yes I can!"
Heh heh heh, she was going to catch that little cub. There was no escape!
She was stalking after the cub like a hunter, the smirk of a victorious child spreading across her maw. Oh yes, time to be got!
Mora sprang, pouncing after the cub, a paw reaching out, and...tag!
"Hah! You're it!"
In her excitement, Mora had completely forgotten about the paintbrush she held in her jaws, her exclamation sending it dropping to the ground with a puff of dust.
Oh...s**t...

Kazi noticed Mora drop the brush and it didn't take more then a few seconds to get to it and get it back. He had been ready to pounce at the best moment but her dropping it just made it that much easier for him. He would have called Kianga back at that point but the young cub was enjoying herself and Kazi didn't want to stop that. It was also the first time in a long time he had seen Mora laugh.
"Thanks Mora!" He called over before settling back down his paintbrush now rightfully behind his ear. At least now he could just rest and not worry about the fact that he would have to get it back. Not only that Mora, whether she wanted to admit it seemed to be having fun and for some reason that made Kazi happy.

Kianga squeaked when she was caught and immediately stumbled to a stop, turning around a little too fast but somehow managing to stay upright. She was smiling widely-- until she saw the paintbrush drop and then she froze. She suddenly forgot if she was supposed to do something. Luckily, Kazi swooped in and grabbed it.
She watched Kazi but looked back to Mora hopefully, taking a step toward her. Were they still playing?

Kazi's plan, if it had been a plan, had worked. By the time Mora realized she had dropped the brush, it was too late, her prize had been lost.
A low growl, Mora turned to level a glare at the god, her tail giving an angry lash. It may have been a tense moment, what would she do? Would she lash out, throw a rock, would she try to deafen him and every other creature in the area?
Snort, maybe later. Oh she would get him, she would not forget, and he'd better make sure he stocked up on earplugs! Stupid jerk!
But for now, she had a game to play, and she wasn't going to let that stupid jerk ruin it for her. Hmph! Just you wait Kazi, just you wait!
A threatening glare later, Mora's attention turned back to the cub, the smile returning to her maw, that playfulness back in her posture. Revenge could wait, for now it was back to the game.

Kazi just smiled at Mora which then turned into something more like a smirk as she turned to finish the game. He had his prize, she had lost it but she was having fun and it seemed Kianga was too. At least that was something the little cub wouldn't have a boring life.
He let out a yawn and curled up, one eye on what was going on but for now he was going to rest while the girls played. Maybe Mora could even teach Kianga a few things... who knows. For now though he was content and so could rest.
- Finished <3
