Miri squeaked aand ducked her head, qishing she could hide behind her mask - but with it broken, she just didn't have that option. So instead, she settled for pulling her hair down around her face and hiding her features behind the silky white strands instead. "H-hi," she whispered timidly, holding her mask out in front of her, as if in a plea. She timidly touched his hand with one of hers, then pushed the mask at him, quivering all the while. "Miss Julie s-said you could.... you could fix it?"

The teen nodded, "Sure kiddo. Why don't you let Julie show you to the kitchen table while I go get out the glue?" he asked gently, speaking softly and slowly so as not to startle the tot more. She seemed quite timid after all.
Julie nudged the pale girl into her house and over towards the table. "We just have to make sure there's no stuff on it and put down newspaper so glue doesn't get all over the table." she explained, like it was an art project. "Can you get some papers from that pile for that?" she asked, pointing to the stack of old used papers that most people threw out or put for recycling, the stuff Ixxie tended to prefer to use for art projects. While the other girl was doing that, Julie was moving some left over papers and projects off of the table from where her siblings had left things.
