SaphiraStar In the description they capitalize the word "Who." It's the same poem for each generation. There was an episode where The Doctor was battling the Master and opened either his or the Masters doors while it was underwater. There's a refrence.

Mal Loup Am I the only to notice this to be the second Doctor Who
item/pose?
Has anyone seen the item "Shadowplay"? HELLO! It's a clear
reference to the episodes Silence in the Library / Forest of the
Dead.
Oi, sometimes I wonder if I'm the only person on this planet who
pays attention to these things... I noticed this too. But it really wasn't as cool as this. What will they make next? Ten'nt? That would be awesome

The GCD and SF exploded on the day that RIG came out. If you've just noticed now, you're veryyyy late.
Anyway, Milkbun says that the description is a shout out to Doctor Who, but only because she couldn't come up with anything to go with the item.

Recently all the TY DW ITEM threads were necro'd and the Shadowplay inflated by about 50k. It was really funny.

I just remembered! I get why they put it in Imaginary Friend instead of anything else. It's not just because of the weird character.
In the new season (Manly in ads for- or teasers for-), Amy has called the Doctor her imaginary friend that came back. THAT is why I think they put it in there.

The evolutions were already all planned out before they released it though.
