Well, GIMP's basically an open-source, crippled Photoshop, so technically saying both is right. As such, that's what I'm doing.
I think GIMP is alot better for me to use than Photoshop because layering is alot easier. Plus I can understand the interface much better without having to know a million things.
Plus, I make some pretty badass banners. I used to use other software for my banners which kinda made it pixelated plus it gave me layering problems. So GIMP is the second best.
I can't afford Photoshop so i'd rather stick with a free program to solve all my problems.
And you know one sad thing? I can make banners or sig pictures but I fail at making one for myself on here
