"Primapez? I don't think I've ever heard it before." Messing with the radio, she set it to the classical channel. "I'm also a bit of an opera fan; I love the sounds that the singers are able to make with their voices. Amazing."

She shifted into her seat, set the car to cruise control, then then looked over to Nyx. "I work in Genetics, so I suppose I could be classified under cloning; they both interrelate with each other. What about yourself?" She knew that it could be possible for them to both be in the cloning labs and not have met one another. After all, there was certainly more than one lab.


Head tilting, Dianthus watched Tesla scurry farther away. [You might want to come sit over here; it wouldn't be safe to be on a shoulder if we come to a fast stop.] His trainer was a safe driver, but there were others out there that weren't so much. [Tea is when humans take dried plant leaves, and sometimes fruits and other plant matter and soak it into hot water. Depending on what you put into it, you get a variety of different flavors.]

"If you'd like, I have a CD in my bag that mixes rather heavy metal music with an opera singer." Vironica understood that classical music wasn't for everyone, and while she wasn't really into heavy metal, she did find the mixture of the two quite interesting and lovely. "It's a band called Nightwish, they're quite amazing, especially their lead singer."

She listened silently to Nyx, nodding as the Charizard was mentioned. "I did hear about that, although that happened on my day off so I wasn't actually in the labs at the time. I'm glad it wasn't anything worse than a rampant Charizard though." And from the rumors she heard down there, it certainly COULD have been a lot worse.

[It's not too bad, but I'm sure that they will be able to get you something that you like. You may want to hold off on the foods until you try the little desserts that come with the drinks.] Dianthus grinned a little. [They're soooo good, and really sweet!] Noticing that the little pokemon wasn't coming off of the shoulders, Dianthus was keeping careful attention to the roads to make sure that nothing would make them stop suddenly; if he had to, he'd use his vines to grab the mouse-pokemon before any harm came to him.

Vironica rolled her eyes a little, sharing in Nyx's annoyance. "I agree, I don't know how a base that's supposed to be 'new' could have gotten so many old parts. What did they do, give us only hand-me-downs? I mean, I suppose if they really weren't expecting this base to do well..." Her voice trailed off as she dove into thought; what were they thinking?

Glancing over to her companion, she smiled a little. "I am glad to know that you're alright. It would have been terrible to lose someone because the equipment was old. I suppose we can't really be upset about the labs being closed at the moment either, since it means we're more than likely getting upgraded to THIS century."

Dianthus yawned a little and stretched out. [It'll be a while till we get there, Tesla. You should relax a little or you'll be exhausted by the time we get there.] He felt a little bad for the Pichu, since Tesla looked more than a little scared.

A small frown came over her face and worry filled her voice. "Mau was injured? Is he doing alright?" She rather liked the man; he was as much of a plant nut as she was, so it worried her to know that he had gotten hurt. She would have to see about bringing him a plant and checking on him to see if he was well.

As Nyx yawned, Vironica reached over and turned the volume down a little more. "Go ahead and take a nap, I'll wake you when we get there." She was used to silent drives, so it really didn't bother her if Nyx fell asleep.

Giving a long, soft sigh, Vironica concentrated on the road, pushing thoughts and worry about Mau from her mind. There was nothing she could do about what had happened, though she would be stopping by at his room later for a visit.

"Saaaaaur" came the yawn out of Dianthus' mouth as he stretched out along the back seat and closed his eyes to take a nap.



"Hey, wake up, Nyx." Vironica gently shook her fellow scientist by the shoulders. "We're here." Sure enough, there was a lovely, old fashioned-looking tea house and Vironica had gotten the car parked pretty close to the front.

Vironica, once sure that Nyx wasn't going to fall back to sleep, went to the back seats and opened up the door. "C'mon Dianthus. Down you go!" Used to having to help her pokemon down, she picked the Bulbasaur up and set him on the ground. Shutting the door, she locked the car and then headed into the building.

The tea house itself was actually quite small, but because of the amount of windows it had facing the outside and the mirrors that adorned the walls, it appeared larger on the inside. The tables and chairs were dainty and on the fancy side, and at the far wall was the cash register next to a glass display case showing off all of the pastries they served. Behind that was a door that lead to the kitchen.

Taking note of the 'Seat Yourself' sign, Vironica turned to Nyx. "Where would you like to sit?"

"Oh! Thank you!" Vironica smiled and sat down on the chair that was pulled out for her, then bent down and picked up Dianthus, setting him in her lap; he was large and didn't fit very well, but she didn't mind as long as her pokemon didn't move very much.

"I would recommend their house blend if you like a little bit of exotic flavoring. I believe it has a tad bit of cinnamon and cloves in it and it's absolutely to die for." She paused for a moment as Dianthus wriggled a bit, then sighed and put the pokemon on the ground while muttering something to him, watching him carefully as he walked off. "I would also suggest their pastries; they have a delicious cheesecake."

Dianthus walked over to Nyx and looked up at Tesla. [C'mon! I want to show you around the place!] He grinned a bit. [And I know how to get free food!]

As one of the cutely dressed waitresses walked up to them to take their orders, Vironica looked placidly up at her. "One pot of your House special blend, please, as well as one cheese cake and one order of your fresh fruit." From the corner of her eye, she could see both Dianthus and Tesla going off to get into trouble.

"Alright! I'll be right back with your orders." The waitress gave both Nyx and Vironica a bright, polite smile, then went off to take care of things.

Dianthus stood by the wall that lead into the cafeteria. [Ok, this is going to take team work. I'm going to use my vines to bring you over to that pastry display case and you're going to grab as much as you can before anyone sees you. Think you're up for it?] He didn't want to push the Pichu into doing something he felt uncomfortable doing.
