"What in the hell...?" Puer shuffled backwards involuntarily. Serrin buried his face in the rocky spine that he sat on, his vines tightening. Tolin stared at it, fighting back a fear he hadn't felt in decades. "Get back. I'll move in and engage it at midrange. Focus on Shadow Ball." Puer nodded, his mouth clamped shut.

Tolin darted forwards into the crowd, throwing a weak Air Slash at the behemoth. Puer's concentration was too shaken to toss a proper attack and instead shot only a minor Shadow Ball.

((You mean me Chaos? XD And damn, I knew that necklace was bad news D< Why did that idiot of a Mew not go to Zori the moment he figured everything out?))

OOF.

The attack slammed Altus in the chest, really, really hard. The little Riolu was launched back through the air, slamming into Incultyr.

"Altus!" The Larvitar cried out, unhurt from having his team mate thrown into him but he wasn't sure if the same could have been said of the Riolu.

Altus hadn't expected the attack to be that powerful, hadn't done anything to prepare and brace for it. The Riolu struggled to drawn in air, an excruciating action through his now broken ribs. The Psychic power that crackled through the room didn't help, fogging up the fighting-type's thoughts.

The screech rolled over them the next second, stopping Incultyr in his tracks; the angry Larvitar had ripped a chunk of the floor up and had prepared to throw it. The attack cut through the floor he was holding, shielding him from the brunt of the attack.

Altus however, had no such protection, and even as he struggled to get back to his feet the force of the roar shot him back to the ground, hard, jostling his broken ribs. The Riolu gasped, whimpering slightly from the pain as he fought it.

The aura given off by the creature, even to one who usually ignored the aura, was overpowering. Altus knew he wouldn't survive this...not in his current form.

A certain Solar ribbon started to glow fiercely...



Atra slowed as he approached the battle, his steps tempered by fear. Arceus, what is that thing? Eyes wide, the Flareon watched the almost solid blades of sound-compressed air rushed towards them. He yelped and ducked, paws over his head as Sherman panicked beside him.

The attack crashed into an invisible barrier, breaking through it, but severely weakened. Atra winced as he felt the sting of the attack cutting through his fur and drawing blood, but it was a shallow cut.

The Flareon composed himself, grimacing at the twin lines of red down his legs and watching as the creature charged towards a black eevee.

The Flareon stamped his feet down, summoning his magic. That thing had to be destroyed; he knew that. This was not something they could afford to rampage through the Kingdom.

Wisps of dark matter began to grow around the creature, conjured by Atra. Solidifying, the spear-like things stabbed straight into the beast.

Sherman was crouched down, his wings wrapped around him, whimpering. He was scared out of his wits, not knowing that the Protect he had set up saved their lives, leaving him with only a thin line of blood across his silvery wings.

Whoa! What the hell!?

Zero gawked at the creature, power coming off of it so strongly Zero could feel it. The Glaceon grimaced as he watched the fight, and the monster decimating the Guild's ranks.

He conjured a strong barrier around him as the razor-like compressions of air flew at him, his barrier strong enough and he was far enough back for it to stop all of the attack.

Zero's mate and children were still in the castle; he had to kill this thing.

The Glaceon dispelled his barrier, charging down the hall towards the fight. His mouth opened, a blue glow started collecting there. The Glaceon's fur slowly spiked, freezing solid as a layer of prickly protection.

When Zero got close enough and found a clear enough shot, he launched his Ice Beam, aiming for the creature's behind as it lunged at a black eevee as to not catch the guild member as well.

The Solar Ribbon wrapped around the Riolu's arm glowed fiercely, the glow growing to encompass him entirely. The light shone brightly, the source seeming to grow before dimming.

A Lucario emerged, on his knees, grimacing in pain and staring at his paws. Woops, he hadn't meant to evol- SCREW IT!

Altus staggered to his feet, his ribs still sore but the power of evolution seemed to have patched them together somewhat. Everything looked so much smaller from up here. He tested his balance quickly, finding it satisfactory, and he locked his eyes on the monster attacking the guild.

He charged in, his longer legs bringing him forward at a speed unknown to him before. No, it wasn't just that; his speed was augmented by aura magic. Extremespeed. He felt the aura as he has never felt before, that annoying little power at the edge of his mind which used to be of little use now flooded his body.

He gathered it in his hands with barely a thought, and threw the Aura Sphere at the monster. He brought his paws together, then spread them as he had seen his father do only just a few hours ago, a long stick of aura forming between his paws. (Bone Rush)

New weapon in hand, the Lucario reached the creature in the blink of an eye, hitting the creature the same instant his Aura Sphere. With a snarl he held the Aura-Bone above his head and jammed it into the creature as hard as he could.

He wasn't done yet. Spinning back and around to avoid the creature's inevitable counterattack (He used detect! Totally not god-modding!) he backed off just out of reach, before running back in. The ghost of swords appeared around him, formed of pure aura. (Swords dance) As he slammed back into the creature, jamming his held weapon into its side again, the swords also burying themselves into flesh before dissipating.

(-4. May I ask once more that you do something violent to Altus? Feel free to go all out, no worrying about it being nonlethal or something silly like that.)

Puer grunted as the roar echoed throughout the hall, the noises endlessly bouncing off every object. Glass and porcelain alike shattered in the wake of the roar. Shards rained down as anything and everything burst. Serrin's muscles seized up before falling slack, causing him to topple off of his guardian. Puer's eyes closed in pain. When he opened them, Tolin was gone.

[Tolin is using Shadow Sneak + Shadow Force. Dunno how much damage you want to attribute to that when it triggers.]

Incultyr started when a Lucario ran past him right into the monster and started attacking it like a hurricane. The Lucario was such a blur it took Incultyr several moments to recognize that dark teal and brown coloration. It looks like Altus took his offered evolution.

"Damn all of this." Incultyr growled, too far away from the monster to do any sort of direct damage anymore, but truth be told he wasn't very eager to get near that thing.

A ball of dark energy hurled from the Larvitar to crash into the monster.

"Idiot, run!" Atra hissed at Sherman as the God of destruction got a bit too close for comfort. The Flareon was definitely taking this from a distance.

He ran past the cowering salamence, who looked up to see the giant dog-green-glowy-thing only several meters away, Sherman's eyes wide as the thing ate a Weavile.

Stumbling over his own tail, Sherman turned to run after Atra, who turned back to fire a shadow ball at the creature.

Zero skidded to a stop several meters away from the monster, not daring to get any closer. Staying his ground, the Glaceon once again formed and shot off another Ice Beam.

Altus tried to pull his aura-weapon out of the creature's side, sensing the next attack. Abandoning his Bone Rush, the Lucario ducked down and under the first attack, avoiding it by mere centimeters.

The creature was too big and too fast; Altus couldn't hold it off completely. He blocked a few attacks with his arms, countering with a few punches, pointy-wrist-thorn leading.

An attack got through his defenses, slashing across his chest. Altus could feel his weakened ribs crack once more where they were weakly mended, claw and torn bone stabbing into flesh. Important, vital flesh.

He stumbled back, the creature's attention taken by a crazy old suicidal Weavile, the crazy young suicidal Lucario getting an well-needed break. Altus collapsed in a heap, gasping for air that struggled to flow through punctured lungs.
