S'ren had to chuckle. "Yeah, good food will do that to you," he agreed. "It's hard to resist the temptation sometimes." It had certainly been a long day, but S'ren himself wasn't feeling especially tired at the moment. It was nice to simply relax and chat when opportunity afforded it.
Oh? This information definitely piqued the Brown's interest, and he even adjusted his position slightly to get a better look at his companion. Have there been reports of a pride sighting then? The thought of snagging some feline meat was certainly a pleasant one. The hunt itself was always quite fun as well.

V'tur allowed the silence between them to go on. Words were not always necessary and to simply have company with another rider was nice. Iweith was his life but his dragon could be quite the talker sometimes. Laying down, he watched the clouds go by.
Iweith had to stop and think. His memory was good for a day or two. Especially when it was something unusual or exciting like a feline hunt. Taking it slow, he tried to remember what had been said. It has to be talked about first but someplace down south is where we would hunt.

Well, I certainly hope that more news comes of that, Tereth remarked, rather enthused by the thought of a feline hunt in the near future. It had been far too long... at least he thought. Couldn't really remember when the last hunt was, so it was impossible to say just how long ago it had been. Still, it was at least long enough ago to fall out of his short span of memory.
S'ren was also willing to simply sit and enjoy the silence, although he was half listening to his dragon's conversation. From the half of the conversation that he could hear as well as his Brown's keen interest in the subject matter, he gathered that the two were talking about a possible feline hunt. After all, he had heard the word 'pride' just a moment back. You're salivating.
I am not, the Brown replied to the tease, stretching out his wings a little to better absorb the sun's rays. Just thinking about it is all. Back to Iweith he said, Would you let me know if you hear anything else on the matter?

Iweith's eyelids closed as the sun warmed the mud he was nicely wallowed into and he searched his brief memory to think. Feline hunts always livened things up around the weyr. Especially the striped ones were a challenge to hunt. And Iweith liked a challenge. Soon. It should be announced shortly. A big one would be nice who puts up a fight.
V'tur caught up to the conversation and added his two marks out loud. "A feline hunt would be could. A nicely skinned pelt would ever several marks with the traders."

"It's a win-win scenario for all," S'ren remarked with a chuckle. "And a few extra marks would be nice after that lost bet."
I'm more interested in the meat.
The rider simply rolled his eyes. "You would be more interested in that." So if it came down to listening to the harpers play or going on a feline hunt, which would you choose?
The dragon was silent at the question, torn between the two choices. ... I suppose the Harpers would still be playing again at a later time, he answered reluctantly, not very please with the hypothetical situation. That or you could just pick up where they left off.
S'ren had to laugh. "Nice try. You know I can't do that."

((wanna wrap this up? Running out of things to say. Lol))
"Yes, they would be. I would like to attend the big gather in Southern if we are allowed. With all this unrest coming from Malvren and now that Healer fellow poking around, we shall see." V'tur replied. Yawning, he tried to keep himself awake but it wasn't working.
Iweith was ready to have the mud scrubbed off of his hide. Slowly he got up and moved over to V'tur. Nosing his rider, he crooned softly. I want to scrub and then nap in the sun. You need to reach the hard to reach spots.
"Iweith wants to go be scrubbed. And find a ledge. I am inclined to agree with him. This afternoon sun is getting to me. It was well met, S'ren. Perhaps we shall catch duty or a hunt together in the future."

"It would be a pleasure, V'tur," S'ren replied back with a smile. "You two take of yourselves until then." The rider turned his gaze back onto his own Brown, who was still resting quite contently in the mud. How about you? Ready to be cleaned off and return to our weyr yet?
Tereth seemed to contemplate this for a moment. Not just yet. This spot is rather comfy. Soon though. He had been a bit later in entering the mud than Iweith, so he was still enjoying it for what it was worth.
Fair enough. I'm not in any particular hurry. It wasn't often that they had a small amount of free time like this anyway, so they might as well enjoy it for what it was worth.
