The wrath girl looked around " Lets gooo" she was to impatient to hear ' ignore J-Mama' , if she had she wouldn't of gone. Bonie was surprised Tempy didn't freak out to hearing male junk referred to as 'dangly bits'. The two where ready to be led by the girl.

Giggling, Phoebe led the girl and her mother through the intricate steps needed to navigate the bookstore. Once they arrived at the proper location within the maze of shelves, she pointed all the way up at the top of the shelf, at a small section of books crowded closely together. "There they are," she said. "J-Mama moved them up a few shelves though, I guess she didn't want kids reading them any more..."

The tall ex-model inched up trying to reach them " Hon they are tooo high up" she shrugged hoping Tempy would give up now.
Tempy looked around " I see a ladder over there " she pointed and started to walk over.
"DON'T you go no place little pickle , you have no idea what trouble you could be getting in " Bonnie whispered the last part " in this kind of store , things might not be as they seem" she put a lot of energy into those words.
"WHAT do you mean" Tempy asked. Bonnie really didn't want to be rude , she she tried to put it nicely " Well you might walk over there , and then not be able to get back here since the store ... could have powers" she looked at the girl "Nooo offense" she said really western and cute.
"Is that true" the wrath child asked Phoebe.

"Well, yeah," Phoebe said, blushing. "But it's not scary or anything, there's nothing dangerous in here, it's just really big, twisty and easy to get lost in." She paused and looked around, then dropped her voice to a whisper. "Actually, I think J-Mama just likes to play pranks on visitors she doesn't want getting certain books. But don't tell her I said that."

The older woman had enough of this shop "Well honey , I think the books you have already, are sufficient" she smiled. Tempy thought about that for a moment then agreed "Your right , I really don't need more, but I would like a book on how to draw the human body" she noted.
Bonnie looked at Phoebe 'Well she does know this place like the back of her hand' she thought to her self. "Honey , would you know where to get a book like that , we will stay right here, you could go get the book , then we can buy it and on our way" she smiled nicely "Ohh and I can tell your Mumma what a help you were" she winked.
Tempy loved this idea "yes this would be the safest and most effect way to get a book from your shop" she nodded her head.

Phoebe nodded, feeling sad that these people didn't like her J-Mama's shop - it wasn't as bad as they seemed to think it was, sheesh it wasn't like there was anything in here that would eat them! - and went off to get the book. Ears drooping, she grabbed the most suitable book and brought it back to the others, handing it to the pink-haired lady. "Two steps to your left and you're back at the checkout," she said, and if her tone was as hurt as her ears showed, she tried not to let on. "It was nice meeting you."
Not really, if they thought her home was so bad, then what id they think of her and her J-Mama? Phoebe wanted to be friends with everyone, but she didn't understand why anyone would be afraid of the bookstore. Sure it was a maze, but - that's what made it fun! Regular bookstores were boring, and didn't sell talking books, and everything was in a logical A-Z order and so - so BORING! Why would anyone prefer that?

Bonnie picked up on the sadness "Well , we must come back to this cute little shop, when he have more time , but right now we got to get home, its family night" she stated.
"Thank you for your help" the toddler stated and started to make her steps. Bonnie would of chatted more but she didn't want to get lost or lose Tempy. Once they payed for the book they left immediately both thanked J-Mama before and on there way out.
Who knows if they will ever come back , but it was an experience Tempy would not soon forget.
