Cheveyo didn't seem bothered by the man's seemingly feminine nature. Quite the contrary. He chuckled and moved into a more comfortable position, much of his animal half now submerged, "You sound like someone I know, with your flowers. Though you seem to have better uses for them." He went back to splashing water on himself, feeling the heat of the sun on his back, "When would you like us over?"

Fiore brushed his hair out with his fingers and settled back down again, the bandage around his arm completely soaked. "Ah, so I'm not alone in the world!" He chuckled. "Later on in the evening, I suppose. It should be cooler then and I'll have longer to cook up something decent." He grinned. "Or have Aubi do it. That boy gets away with too much, I think."

Cheveyo chuckled, "You know, if you like I could come and help you with the cooking," he said, shrugging a little. He wasn't used to someone cooking for him. It had never really happened, because he had been self-reliant since he was a teen, and he felt a little uncertain making someone else do the hard work. "Not really fair of me to expect you to feed my kids without at least a little bit of help."

"Would you?" Fiore smiled and waved him off, "A little help would be nice, but it wouldn't be right for a guest to cook. The only thing you have to do is bring empty stomachs." Even when he was mated, he did all the domestic duties, so it was so twisted into his mindset that he couldn't give over his kitchen that easily.

Cheveyo smiled weakly and dropped it, not wanting to seem pushy. He felt guilty making someone do it for him, it almost seemed lazy. Not that he didn't appreciate it, he did. He was surprised by Fiore's friendliness and willingness to have him over. For all he knew, Cheveyo may have been a psychopath, but he trusted him enough to bring him into his home. So he wasn't going to argue. "If you're sure. The offers still there if you change your mind."

Fiore twisted his upper half, popping his back with a satisfying snap before repeating for the other side. He laughed, smiling warmly at the other male. Not many would insist like he was, even if he didn't come right out with it, and it was a welcome change. "How about next time, then. I'll let you cook then, but now, I really should leave and get a start on things."
He waded out of the water, his little tail flipping up as his muscles fought with him. Years of wear and tear left him variably weak for his age, making him slower than he'd like. "You see that mountain?" He pointed. "My home is at the base. I'll have Aubi meet you on the path so you won't get lost."
With that, Fiore politely nodded to Cheveyo and clipped his way up in the embankment into the woods.

Cheveyo nodded in agreement, a pleased feeling in his chest. This was such a good start to things, and he was very happy about it. All that showed was a small smile, as he stood up politely to see him off. He glanced to the mountain and gave a small nod. He knew it well, though he hadn't been near it since he was a child. "Thank you," his smile widened, "I'll see you later, then." He watched him go, then sat back down, spending a little more time there, before gathering his things together and heading home to get Anoki and Ayasha ready for the short walk that would tire them out. At least they'd be hungry when they got there.

"What do you mean, guests?" Auberon held his arms out, following his father with agitated clips. The Minotaur loomed over Fiore, watching as the older man set the table. "I thought we were leaving in the morning? Or did you forget that we have wares to sell?"
Fiore pulled his freshly scented hair to the side, large flower blooms decorating his antlers to their full potential. He placed a hand on Aubi's shoulder to calm him. "We have gold enough to last us, and besides, a few friends wouldn't hurt you." With a smile, he scooped up the extra plates and sashayed into the kitchen.
Aubi sighed, running a hand through his hair with a little smile. "Theres no arguing with you, is there?" He murmured. "Well, in that case, I'll go and-"
"I need you to escort them here." Fiore called out, effectively halting the Mino in his place. "At the fork. Go early in case they show up early, and be nice. I don't think Cheveyo's children are very old."
Auberon frowned, snatched up a book and traipsed out the door. Seriously? He'd probably be the babysitter to some snot nosed brats while Fiore chitted the chat.
Once he reached the bottom of the hill, he made a sharp right and plopped down. Maybe he could get a good chapters read before they arrived. Now, what page....?

Cheveyo arrived shortly after, Ayasha hurrying ahead of him, and Anoki holding tightly onto his hand. They could be heard well before they were seen, with Ayasha shouting excitedly, and Cheveyo trying to coax her to calm down. She was a good girl, but he didn't want her to be too energetic when they got their. She eventually feel into step beside him just as they came into sight of Auberon. Anoki saw him before the other two, as Cheveyo was talking to his daughter about how she had to act. He stared, but was fascinated and let go of Cheveyo so he could trot faster.

Auberon snapped his book shut as he looked up, his ears picking up their sound before he saw them. He stood up to his full height, brushing the dust off his rump. His eyes widened in surprise, then softened immensely when he saw the little buck coming closer. "Hello there, little man." He'd never seen young.....well, anything before, so it was weird change of pace. At least they were cute.
He looked up and nodded back to the mountain. "Follow me." Aubi turned on his hoove and walked, moving over to the side so he still see them. "What are their names?"

Anoki beamed when he was addressed, and hurried to walk next to him. Cheveyo was stunned by his son's boldness, but seemed oddly unphased by the minotaur (he had never seen one before). It must have been his age. He took Ayasha's hand and looked to Aubi as they walked, "Anoki," he pointed to the boy, "And Ayasha," he pointed to the girl, "Anoki usually won't even look at strangers."

Auberon reached out to ruffle the boy's hair affectionately. "Maybe he just likes me." The Minotaur smiled at the boy, then turned to his sister. It was easy to guess what their mother might look like, though why she wasn't with them, he would never know.
As they approached the mountainface, a large entrance was partially covered in mountain slide debree, the other half in a ran shackle door drapped in ivy. Auberon pushed it open, "Watch your step. We have candles, but it's pretty dark in there."
The giant entry way was misleading. Inside, the ceilings were only slightly higher than usual with natural doorways in random places leading to separate rooms. Everything had a flower or a flower motif, with paintings nailed into the stone walls.

The family followed him in, and the kids looked around with fascinated expressions. Anoki made sure to stick to Auberon's side, one hand resting on his leg to help keep the boy steady.
Ayasha was delighted with all the flowers, and pointed them out to Cheveyo, grinning widely. The man chuckled, looking around as well. He had to admit...this was pretty cool. He'd never seen a home like this before, he'd only seen taur-made ones. The darkness spooked a little tiny part of him, but for the most part, he was just curious where Fiore was.

Auberon made sure to walk slowly through the various dips in their floor so the boy wouldn't trip. If all children were this cute he might actually want some one day. "I'm back! And guess whose here?" He called out, his voice echoing off the stone walls. Wherever the old man might be, he was sure to get the message.
And sure enough, he did. Fiore waltzed in from the back, a torch in one hand and a bowl of fruit in the other. His already open smile brightened immensely when he look at Cheveyo and his offspring. "Hello. The dining room is to your left. And I'm sorry in advance; I'm not much of a hunter, so we'll be having rabbit." He pulled up to a stop next to Ayasha and crouche down, "Do you like flowers?"
