Arcane growled weakly before a cough escaped his mouth. He shook his head and looked her then grinned. "I've know to be very cuddly to anyone I'm around think you could handle that?" He stepped over to her and gently nuzzled in to her. True he was burning up and it was strange to have someone like him nuzzle her so gently.

Layla bristled "i said DONT TOUCH ME!" she creamed at him and slashed his face, sick or not she struck out, intedning to cause harm to the other, she didn't tolerate anyone but Pyros to touch her without permission. She beared her teeth and snarled, the pretty face instantly transformed in something equivalent to a demon.

Arcane yelped as blood ran down his cheek, she had caught him along the eye and left a nice wound. He opened his eyes growling back at her. He looks quite horrifying like this and slowly advanced on her, sick or not he was about to fight.

Layla fluffed her fur up instinctively, her head went low and her rear went up, her shoulders hunched ready to move in any direction, "i warned you not to touch me, after the first time, NO ONE touches me" she snarled, moving backwards, she wasn't afraid of him, she just didnt like how messy fighting got.

Arcane was still growling but finally he back off and lay down again, this time in the sun. The blood ran on to the ground and he kept his eyes close to keep it from stinging. He curled up tightly nuzzling him self a bit, it was his way of cuddling when no one was around. After a while he opened his good eye and muttered "I'm sorry."

Layla calmed a little as rcane backed off and curled up, she looked around to see if she could see his mate, the antlered male would be better to take care of this one, but he was no where in sight, sighing she went back towards the sick male "i told you not to touch me" she said, the edge gone from her voice so it was more of a reminder than anything else.

Arcane closed his eye again and curled tighter in to him self. "....I'm sorry. I didn't lie when I said I was cuddly...hell I feel so bad right now I'd even curl up with you...." that had to say something about how sick he was.

Layla rolled her eyes *i sure picked the stupidest time to grow a consience* she thought to herself, "Well, Demon, i warned you, and i never give more than one warning" she said with a sigh, she wasn't going to apologise ... even if she DID feel a little bit sorry for injuring a sick creature. "i shuould get his mate, but if i leave, he could get worse" she muttered to herself, not realising she was thinking out loud.

Arcane snorted. "I won't get worse...." He muttered in a sleepy voice. "If you want go get buck...I don't think it's needed, if someone would let me sleep I should be fine...." He sniffled again and shifted the rabbit he'd eaten a while before was starting to bother this sick stomach and he grimaced a bit. "what kind of herbs did you put with that thing?"

Layla sighed "there's nothing stopping you from sleeping Demon" she huffed, layng down careful to be out of immediate reach. She frowned as his next comment "herbs to bring a fever down why?"

Arcane curled up tighter. "I feel like i'm going to throw up cause of them...." He grumbled and tucked him head under his tail hoping to block out the sound and light.

Layla sighed "it's not the herbs making you want to be sick, thats whatever it is making you sick in general" she said, running off towards the water briefly, "THERE" she mumbled to herself digging at the ground near the water, at the base of some grasslike plant. It wasn't long before she'd exposed the roots of several of them, snatching them up and washing them quickly in the water she darted back to Arcane, who'd curled even tighter *i hope thats on the sickness curling him* she thought, chewing the roots up she spat them out near Arcance. "Hey! Wake up!" she said loudly.

Arcane growled. "I am awake what do you want now?" He looked up at her then at the roots and his nose wrinkled and his stomach did a flip as he shuttered. "ugn get it away what ever it is its making me feel sicker just looking at it!"

Arcane grimaced again but got up and stepped past her bumping in ot her a bit with out meaning to, he wasn't as warm at least. He closed his eyes and eat the roots swallowing hard to get them down.
