He chuckled under his breath. “I don’t imagine you would be the first with that idea,” he said, sounding amused. There had to be a stash of his favorite treat and primary weakness somewhere on campus. Otherwise how had teachers who needed his help seemed to produce the candy whenever they wanted to? Eli had even poked around a little, trying to see if there were some hidden in the janitors closet, but there had been no such luck. And his pride prevented him from conducting an all out search. Barely. Some days he still secretly daydreamed about discovering the source of such a wonderful thing. He was perfectly comfortable being an addict.

Lost in his own thoughts, he didn’t hear the other male move until that voice was right behind him. His lips parted to answer, to ask the man what he wanted or at least ask him to wait a moment longer while he finished cleaning his cup out. He should have known from that too-innocent tone that the game was still going on. Elias wished he knew what the hell the rules of the game were because apparently they didn’t involve personal boundaries. He felt a very warm presence at his back and would have sworn the other man had a heater hidden under that shirt if it hadn’t been quite so form fitting. It was obvious nothing was under there.

…aaaand picturing that was doing nothing to help him, was it? ********! He’d just stood there! The other man was already finished with his little task and moving away and Elias had just stood there like a statue the entire time. What the hell? He was a grown man. He dealt with teenage boys who thought blowing things up was good entertainment. He was the goddamned Black Opal [retired]. He didn’t freeze up because some new teacher.. Ugh. He looked down to see his knuckles were white as he clenched them around the cup. A small effort of will and he relaxed himself again.

His face was calm as he walked back to his seat. Or would have, if it wasn’t already occupied. He frowned and casually plucked the newspaper straight up, out of the other’s reach. “I’m so sorry,” he murmured, face apologetic. “I hadn’t finished with that yet.” He took the opposite seat, the one still warm from the other’s body, and settled in. He actually was done with it, but damned if he wasn’t going to just read one of the articles again just to spite Haru.

“Why don’t you go find what you owe me for the coffee?” he suggested lightly. And it would give him a moment of peace. ”Or find a computer you like so I can set it up?”

Humming faintly under his breath, in a slightly off-key manner, Haru flipped randomly through the paper in search of something good to read. Which was rather difficult as his mind was having far more fun remembering the way the dark haired male had frozen at his move and more importantly how well they'd fit together. Damn, he was all for teasing but for a second there it had been almost worth something more.

His grey eyes were seeing straight through the paper as he mentally replayed the sensations and resisted the urge to twitch, so he was rather startled when the paper suddenly vanished from in front of him. Blinking he tipped his head slightly to look through ash blonde strands at Elias who was moving away with the paper towards the opposite seat once more. Shaking his head he grinned in return.

"Don't like sharing, Elias? "the second teacher asked with an impish grin as he sank bonelessly into his chair once more and with nothing to do settled for tapping his fingers against the desk. At least until it was suggested that he go find a computer and set it up...or give him something in return for the coffee. His grin grew as he lifted a hand and wagged it lazily back and forth with a single raised finger.

"Uh uh. If you weren't smart enough to include a cost in our original negotiations that's your problem."Haru purred his eyes sliding shut at the strength of his smile before he tipped his head slightly to one side and tapped his chin.

"I could probably set up a computer though, right? Just stick the plugs in the matching spots on the opposite end. Easy enough."At least he figured it could should be, but where did they store the computers? Well, this could be an adventure but at least if he ******** up he knew who to get in to fix it. DEFIANTLY on a low table, the kind with hands and knees acess. A low rumble that might have been a growl was caught before it could completely slip free and he flashed a brilliant smile as he stood up once more. Time to retreat before he ravished someone on the table of the teacher's lounge after having just meet them, sets a bad impression.

“Not really, no,” he answered flatly. “I have determined to save my own soul by committing only one sin a day. Today is greed. Stay the hell away from my paper.” He managed to deliver the entire speech in the same tone of voice one uses to note that the sky is blue and clouds meant rain. Completely casual, completely understated. Which of course only served to emphasize the absurdity of the actual words. Not everyone really understood Elias’s sense of humor, but that never bothered him. The only person his jokes were ever designed to entertain was himself. And amuse himself he did.

He faintly became aware that the tapping of the silver eyed male’s finger had stopped. Hmm. Silver eyes. Silver hair. Silver tongue. Everything about the man seemed to have that same metallic shine. Very dangerous. He’d always preferred silver to gold. Gold was too flashy and common. Silver… He hesitated to put the word ‘delicate’ anywhere near Haru. Maybe unique worked better? He still felt like the word he was looking for lay just out of reach. He turned his attention back to the conversation instead.

“Touché,” he answered, raising one eyebrow. He peered over the top of the newspaper for a moment. “Consider it my welcoming gift then.” The paper went back up and his eyes slid sightlessly across the printed words.

He twitched when he heard the other describe setting up the computer. It was technically right. To a degree. But he made it sound so coarse. He could easily imagine Haru breaking something and suppressed the urge to twitch again. He frowned and lowered the paper. “Tell me you at least plan to install some sort of firewall system,” he prayed aloud. “And password protection. And a virus scanner before you attempt to connect with other computers or the internet in general. And that you’ll pay some sort of attention when you’re ‘sticking in plugs’ before you manage to damage the hardware.”

"Really now? I think there are other, far more satisfying sins, but if greed it must be."The ash blonde male shrugged slightly, his grin more than explaining his reasoning. He was having far to much fun with this particular male and really did need to leave before he did something that would make actually working together difficult. Now if this had been a bar...well virtue had nothing to do with alcohol.

"And there you are being so sweet again."Haru grinned, knowing he'd scored a point with the negotiating comment. Although he could see his way around trading candy for coffee b***h privileges. Get him to wear one of those little maid outfits or something...

Shaking himself a bit like a dog that got into water, he banished the thoughts moving through his head and instead concentrated on what the other teacher was saying, confusing starting to fill the grey orbs as his smile melted into a frown to match. What WAS he talking about?

"Uh...yes?"Haru hazarded, trying to remember it all. Okay, so some sort of fire...something, which just COULDN'T be an actual one...not indoors. But what the hell was a virus scanner? And the hardware? Best just concentrate on what he could do and try and stumble through the rest, it sort of worked in the past. He'd had a computer once keep flashing something about scanning at him once, so maybe it did it automatically and he just had to click yes?

Ah what the hell, if all else failed he had an excuse to drag a certain dark haired male into his office to fix the damn thing. The worst it could do was start smoking again, right? And this time he knew better than to put it out with whatever was handy, namely his cup of coffee. His grin came back to life as he decided to just wing it.

The dark haired man watched the look of confusion on the other’s face. Was anything he said getting through? Had he even heard of… Elias covered his eyes with one hand and let out a breath, keeping himself calm. It wouldn’t do him any good to become upset. And it was almost funny, if he were truthful. The temptation to begin making up words just to see how far he could go before Haru caught on tugged at the corner of his mind, causing a brief smile to appear on his lips before his expression turned serious again.

“I take back what I said earlier,” he said, folding the paper up neatly and putting it on the coffee table. “I think I can believe that you manage to break everything you touch.” Elias had allowed electronics to more or less raise him. As a teenager, his computer had felt like some kind of personal extension into the world around him, as important as an amputee’s prosthetics. He didn’t care much for the idea of someone messing with them without knowing how to take care of them. Maybe it was stupid and irrational, but he was allowed to be strange about some things, wasn’t he? He’d grown over the years, was much less dependent on the computer, even took measures to prevent himself from slipping back into old habits.

And yet he still didn’t want this proverbial bull in a china shop near a computer until he’d done everything he could to protect it.

“I’m beginning to think I should go with you,” he said, pushing himself to his feet. The long body leaned against the back of the chair, waiting for the other man. A frown had pressed itself onto his mouth when he’d been thinking, but now it slipped away, instead replaced by another of the subtle smirks that wasn’t quite large enough to be obvious to anyone not paying attention. “And with you, I begin to think I should set up some kind of child security locks on the more adult sights, hmm? It would be such a shame if your newest addition to the staff fell into temptation.”

He pushed himself away from the chair, giving a quickly little jerk of his head to indicate the other man should follow. “Come on. Lets find a computer for you.”

Grey eyes watched the look of almost pain cross the other teacher's face before he covered his eyes. A sheepish expression bloomed across Haru's face which only got stronger when the other male folded up his paper and admitted that it might have been possible for him to break everything he touched. This would likely save on the hysterical fit he usually got from tech guys later.

"Eh...not EVERYTHING. I kept a pager once for two years before it needed a new battery."The ash blonde male chuckled nervously and rubbed at the back of his head. He'd sort of solved the problem himself by figuring out a way to hook it up to the wall...it had exploded on contact. He wasn't to know you can't recharge pager batteries that way!

Although he didn't bother to try hiding too much of the pleasure at getting the dark haired male to follow him to find one. He'd likely not even be able to figure out how to make the big screen glow without a little help. Not that it stayed working for long but it was a nice thought. His head tipped slightly to the side at the smirk that just barely brushed the other male's lips. He was certainly paying enough attention to have picked it up and his own lips would have responded had his brain not caught up no what he said. An almost childish look of wonder crossed his face.

"Adult sites?"He murmured in a pleased and excited tone, before moving at a rather rapid pace to catch up to the male on the other side of the table with a rather naughty expression on his face as his mind had wandered down lanes it just wasn't safe to go, at least outside of the privacy of your room.

"Now, I'm DEFIANTLY all for finding a computer. I like the sound of that. So care to show me any of these rather entertaining sites?"Haru purred, his eyes glinting with mischief and a mix between goofy and teasing smile on his lips as he easily trailed after the dark haired male. He still had every intention of finding that desk, but maybe there was more than one way for a computer to be of use.

Minagi woke up to the sound of cheerful chirps in his private room. The young man tied up his hair in a slightly professional manner and put on a suit, yes a male's suit and walked out the door. Unlike Yukio, he had to wear men's clothes, which is something he hated for some reason. It wasn't as if he had a problem with it, it was just that he thought it took away all his feminine appeal.

In any case, he walked down the hallway to the teacher's lounge and made himself a cup of coffee. Reviewing his schedule, he took small sips and saw he was the teacher of his younger brother. This was going to be fun. After all, he was going to have to put up with him.

"Someone save me from idiots."An annoyed voice growled, coming from an orange-blonde haired male who was currently stalking down the hallway from the principles office and towards the teacher's lounge. He needed a drink. Given it was barely 6 AM he'd have to settle for something non-alcoholic. A hand lifted towards his lips and settled the cigarette it held between his lips for a long drawn out inhalation before it was removed and followed by a circle of smoke that drifted towards the ceiling. He'd set off six fire alarms in his time at the school and he had yet to give a damn enough to actually stop smoking indoors no matter what anyone said.

The door gave under his hand easily enough and swung open to reveal only one other occupant of the room. Ash completely ignored him as he took another hit off his cigarette and stalked across the room to jerk open the lid of the coffee maker and peer inside. It looked like s**t. Grumbling under his breath he shoved the cigarette between his lips and removed the liner, tossing it without looking at the garbage in the corner before opening cupboards and pulling down the ingredients to make a fresh pot. He did so in a slow swirl of smoke and annoyance before slamming the lid back down and pressing the button to make it start brewing. At which point he turned around to face the rest of the room and crossed his ankles with one hand braced on the counter and the other reaching up for his cigarette to remove it and tap it over the sink.

A long haired blonde was looking over the paperwork in one of the seats. Not someone he recognized so one of the new teachers, there had been a lot of them. The fact that one of the teachers had apparently gotten shoved down the main stairs by the school's ghost had spooked a lot of the newer residences who had bolted at the first chance. He HATED having to deal with new teachers, the whole damn lot of them could be damned. He inhaled another hit of smoke and blew it towards the ceiling.

Minagi was flipping through sheets when unwanted smoke came inside the room. A golden hair man was in the room with him and had quite a sour look on his face. In any case, the man was annoyed at something, as he was pretty much making new coffee for no reason at all. Granted Minagi wasn't the best at making coffee, but hey! At least it was new! However, he needed to put on that polite mask now, so he just said to the young man with a smile, unlike his brother's in which was genuine, but a rather mischivious smile. It was accidental, but he couldn't help it

"What?"Ash growled a demand at the sudden attention, taking the cigarette out of his mouth and blowing another puff of smoke as he glared with dark gold eyes at the blue-eyed blonde who had turned towards him with a smile. He arched an eyebrow before adjusting his glasses with the hand holding the cigarette, pushing them back into place. He didn't know who this guy was, nor did he care. He'd find out soon enough if he was worth keeping around. It was a hard qualification to get from the Vice-Principle.

The coffee beeped behind him, drawing his gaze. The stub went back into his mouth as he turned and bent over to get a better look at the coffee machine and the rich dark brew that smelled faintly of hazelnut. Satisfied with the color he dug around for his cup, only to find it was already in the sink.

"Someone's going to die."He promised in a dangerous voice as he grabbed for the cup and quickly washed it out. It was a rather unique cup, decorated with what looked like a giant white paper fan. Most of the teachers from previous years knew not to mess with it. It seemed he'd have to teach the new set to beware it as well. Holding it in one hand he tapped his cigarette quickly with the other before returning it to his mouth and pouring the rich coffee into his cup. Nothing else went in.

The cigarette was pulled free and held over the sink as he returned to his previous posture resting against the counter with crossed legs, only this time he sipped at the cup in his hand rather than smoking. He returned his gold gaze to the blonde with a look that said he was wondering if HE'D touched his cup.

This was his favorite type of person. The easily annoyed type of person. The special type that always had a slightly childish nature to them. This guy looked especially fun to mess with. However, he had not the manners that would come up as a normal teacher. After all the man was smoking in a place that one shouldn't be smoking in at all. So really, it might not be safe to mess with him until further information has been gathered.

Minagi kept smiling as two words came out of his mouth. "Good morning." he greeted.

Dark gold orbs narrowed, clearly annoyed when the only thing the blonde did was keep smiling and greeted him back. Well, it wasn't the MOST annoying thing he could have done, but it wasn't like Ash wanted to talk to him at all so why the hell had he done it. Sucking in a hit off the cigarette in between sips at his coffee he looked the new teacher over with a critical eye that said he wasn't particularly impressed by what he saw. That was at least TWO teacher's now that wore long hair though. Apparently he'd missed something in the new teacher's hand book, well Elias wasn't exactly new.

"Whatever."Ash grunted in reply to the chipper good morning as he tapped his cigarette against the sink once more and took another sip of the coffee. He actually seemed to be calming down a little with the addition of the caffeine moving directly into his system. It wasn't a lot but it was enough to let him ask a question of the other teacher.

"So who the hell are you?"He asked in a bored sounding voice as he continued to drain the cup of coffee and refilled it with a second. It wasn't just cigarette's he chain smoked. Most of his vices were pretty well established.

Blue eyes stared at the man in a playful sort of way. He had a single way of pissing off people and it looks like it wouldn't take much with him. The man had to choose his words quite carefully, something Minagi really wasn't good at, having been proven several times through negotiations with the spirit boys.

"My name happens to be Minagi Kawashinma, the eighth grade teacher. Is it all right that I ask you for your name?" he replied with a smile that really should only be seen on his brother in order to pull off a polite personality.
