********* had never been in danger. Despite having a cast and looking completely immobile, she had never been immobilized. Had the need popped up, she could have shifted forms and easily dodged an attack. That had been the plan all along on her part.

However, there hadn't been enough time to share that plan with Sailor Scheat.

So when the dark orb began to loom over to the cat, her paws tensed up as she prepared to dodge, when one of the yellow suited girls ran in front of her and scooped her up haphazardly. A rather strained mewing sound escaped ********* before she offered "...I'm okay Scheat..." The round cat attempted to stretch her neck out to see what was going on, but then the younger of the pair screamed. Naturally, her ears pinned against her head at the sharp sound. For a moment, the feline's voice seemed to evaporate, hiding somewhere where it didn't belong (perhaps it was hiding in her liver, or maybe in her paws). Before the cat's voice returned, she had been set on the ground.

The moment she saw the very serious injury, ********* called out in a vaguely panicked tone "Don't worry about me, Scheat!!... Please!!!"

Caught up in the action, Sailor Iris had not caught sight of what had happened until the sharp scream had rung through her ears. She had been too busy trying to get her Rainbow Ribbon to make some sort of contact. If she could hold the damned Negaverse senshi in place, maybe Scheat's attacks could do something a bit more effective.

However, her attention momentarily went to the younger girl of her temporary team.

...wait... is she bleeding? Her eyes bulged open as wide as they could before they blinked, then angrily focused in on Tisiphone. Even if Iris didn't know Scheat very well, there was one rule that ran through her mind. You didn't hurt anyone on her team, temporary or permanent.

"Yer f*ckin' dead, b*tch!" The Senshi of Rainbows opened up her hand, banishing the mere ribbon away before clenching her hand up tightly again. Once again, her hand began to glow, but unlike her first attack, the glow grew brighter much quicker and soon surpassed the intensity of her first attack.

Tickled pink by the turn of events, Tisiphone had nearly danced across the street. Seeing Scheat's attack aim for her face, however, greatly displeased the dark senshi. Those stupid bubbles hurt. She threw out a void at them, which ate the bubbles and in turn was eaten in itself. It effectively canceled both attacks.

Iris has caught her attention, however, as the second attack was prepared which only now tipped her off that the other girl was a super. "What, going to throw a rainbow at me?" She taunted, though pranced back a few steps, wincing a little at the light. Tisiphone wasn't sure what to expect, but she didn't like the looks of it. Sensing the strength behind that attack alone put her on edge.

Her mind flipped through several options. Her favorite being to maneuver around so that Scheat served as the human meat shield, but she didn't think she could get the timing right. So for now, the senshi kept her knees bent, ready to dodge whichever way was needed, her eyes following the woman's hands.

It really got old really fast when the enemies just clutched onto the same insults over and over again. They always seemed to find a way to drag it back to one thing: Rainbows.

It did work both ways. Sure, Sailor Iris got upset, but if she thought about it, the enemies always seemed to underestimate her abilities simply based on what element she used.

Normally, she would have gone on a rampage, but this time, she simply held her ground and stared intently at the black suited senshi. There were only two words that escaped her lips as she finally managed to gather enough energy for a blazingly bright rainbow to escape from the depths of her hand.

"F*ck. Yes."

The taller of the yellow-suited senshi stalked forward, sights set on the turncoat. Without turning to face Scheat, she gave her warning.

"Go hide yerself someplace safe, kid."

********* did not like the tone her girl was taking, but she remained perched upright.

She paused for a few seconds at most before her arm threw her attack forward, still holding the intensely burning light within her balled up fist. The only other noise to escape the tall tomboyish senshi was her attack name.

"IRIS RAINBOW SLICER!!!"

Scheat, too busy focusing on breathing, nodded wordlessly and back tracked into the alley. She found a nice dumpster to lean against panting. She'd only ever used her attack twice before, and never when she was this badly injured. To say the least, the girl was winded and tired. The surge of adrenaline keeping the pain of her shoulders away from her had started to fade, and her whole arm throbbed. The girls blue eyes couldn't look at it without vomiting, but she was sure the front of her beautiful fuku was stained with blood at this point.

Peaking out from behind her metal safe haven, she watched as Iris attacked. She'd never seen Iris's super attack before, nor any senshi's super attack. It made her hopeful, wondering what her super powers would be when she was experienced enough to receive them. It was small, mostly said to herself. "Go Iris!" Just to feel like she was helping.

"Hide? How noble, senshi." Tisiphone called after the girl as she went to the alley, tossing a void in for good measure though it simply bore a hole into the wall.

Watching the ribbon of light arch towards her, Tisphone dodged left, right, each time taking a step back. She threw out a void, yet the moment her arm swept forward the ribbon wrapped around it. The dark senshi hissed, trying to grip it for a tug of war, which instead only made it worse. The edges felt hot and sharp as a knife, where moving felt like she was starting with a paper cut and threatened worse.

So, instead, she ran forward, her fist at ready.

((Oh geeze guys XD I had this all typed up yesterday, went to bed, then I get on this morning and realize I never clicked 'submit'))

Sailor Iris, despite hating the fact she had to deal with rainbows of all things, was very glad that her abilities worked towards keeping distance. It allowed her all sorts of extra movement. A stray black orb attempted to float its way towards her, but she rather easily moved out of the way, letting it sink into the nearby wall, taking a chunk of brick out and leaving absolutely nothing.

Yet, all of her efforts seemed to pay off the moment she caught the darker senshi's arm in her slicer. She could have boasted or harassed the other local blonde about her decision to try and grab the rainbow. Underestimate her rainbows, eh? All she could do was grin. Tisiphone began to run towards her, and as tempting as it was to just run in and gut-punch this corrupted senshi, Sailor Iris instead did something she thought to be quite clever. Instead, she yanked the slicer towards the side, hoping to not only injure, but perhaps redirect that momentum of Tisiphone's towards another direction.

Unfortunately, she hadn't been paying much attention to her surroundings.

She was attempting to redirect Tisiphone right at the cat.

The cat, however, was quite prepared. She had told Scheat not to protect her, so she should have been safe now. As pale green eyes caught the potential danger, ********* shifted rather swiftly from feline to circus girl dressed in pale blue. Now all she had to do was time this just right, and she'd be safe yet again.

...wait for it...

As soon as she'd seen the attack hit, Scheat figured that it would be safe to come out from the dumpster. After all, the baddie had been caught right? Love justice and rainbows had prevailed after all. All was right with the world, and they could go home and feel proud. She wasn't sure what they were going to do with the senshi (after all, the forces of good never killed a sentient human being! Youma are dumb beasts and therefore exempt). Perhaps there was some kind of negaverse jail, or reform center.

The girl stepped closer, finally ending up right behind *********. "Great Job Iri-" She was cut off when she finally turned her bright blue eyes to look at what was going on, and they went wide when she realized that the negaverse girl had pretty much been thrown on top of her. The teen would've been aimed for *********, but things in motion tend to hit other things on their same level first.

Ironically the only thing she could think of while she stood there wide-eyed, while the girl was barreling straight for her face, was how creepy and weird it was that she had a giant hole in her chest. Was that were the evil was? Regardless, a girlish shriek issued from her throat while she braced for impact.

Tisiphone didn't mind so much that she was about to be barreled into another senshi. She did, after all, train every day and figured she would have the stamina to withstand the impact while the newbie did not. What she didn't like, however, was that she was going to be thrown, still tied, into both the senshi and the cat which essentially meant all three could get their grubby paws on her. Which she did not like in the least bit.

Normally she would have twisted her body away to use her arms to help brace to impact, but this time she swung so that she was facing Iris. A void formed in the palm of her free hand, and with a quick grin sent to Sailor Iris, the senshi pushed the void through the ribbon, severing it neatly from her arm.

The change in movement gave the dark senshi enough time to twist and grab the first thing she could - Sailor Scheat - and continued the twist to gain a step back from the human cat.

With her shiny new human meat shield at hand, and a small void at the throat, Tisiphone allowed herself a relieved laugh.

"Alright then, I'm a sporting senshi," Tisiphone began, ignoring the tremors in the other girl, "Iris, lets say you and I play a game. You'll like the prize, I think. One whole, in-tact Sailor Scheat, hm?" She grinned merrily.

If there was one thing that caught Iris by surprise, it was the fact that those funky little black things could actually eat through her slicer. At the spot which had been hit by the void, the slicer broke, vanishing not simply just at the hole, but also all the way down to Tishiphone's arm, essentially freeing her of the attack. Her expression of sheer confidence jerked into a more fitting one of surprise the moment Tisiphone had seemingly freed herself.

Even with her now dramatically shorter slicer, the Senshi of Rainbows did not loosen up her hand to dismiss the attack. Even broken in such a fashion, it was much stronger than a mere ribbon.

In her much taller and more physically able form, ********* was able to time things splendidly.

Unfortunately, Sailor Scheat had the worst timing for approaching the cat. The silver-haired girl was in the middle of dodging out of the way the moment she heard that familiar voice, which soon enough merged into a shriek. Rather suddenly, the cat-earred girl planted her foot down prematurely to stop her dodge, finding herself practically face-to-face with the corrupted Senshi.

Only problem was Sailor Scheat was now the hostage in a hostage situation. If there had been no hostage, ********* could have easily tried to spin this around with her Special Surprise. However, now such tactics would have been too risky. Her pale green eyes darted around to Sailor Iris, who was just standing there with what seemed like a partially broken down slicer, but then her eyes darted back to Sailor Scheat. ********* in any form was a master of speaking through simple eye contact, and right now her eyes were saying two words: "I'm sorry."

"...I hate t'be that douchebag... but... yer promised prize ain't exactly 'in-tact'..." The taller of the two yellow suited senshi had a point, since Scheat had already been attacked. In fact, the kid seemed to be a bit pale thanks to the blood loss.

"I ain't got any reason t'trust ya since ya can't even gimme th'prize ya were promisin' t'begin with..."

In a sharp tone, ********* interrupted with a firm "Do as she says, Iris!" Of course, it went unmentioned that this was only "for now."

Sailor Scheat struggled against her captor at first, but when she saw the inky black void hovering at her throat, well, she did what any sane person would do and stilled her entire body. "Let me go, please. I wouldn't mess with Iris. She'll find a way to win and then you better keep your word." At this point, Scheat just wanted to go home. Snug up in her comforter with her stuffed elephant and pretend she wasn't missing chunks of her body. Its all any girl ever asked for, or at least one who was a senshi.

Her eyes, now briefly flitting to the cat and the girl were wide, but determined. She would do what she could to help in all this, and then the negaverse agent will be reformed and everything was right with the world again. Sailor Scheat did not deal in anything but black and white.

"I'll make it an easy game, then." Tisiphone said, her grip on Sailor Scheat none the lighter, "Just for our powers."

She pondered in silence for a moment, then beamed, "Ah, this should be interesting. How about this: The first person to hit the other wins, but you can't move from your spot at all. I'll even give you a handicap at take a step closer," she did so, but still out of reach from the shredded ribbon, "And we can toss our attacks from here. Not so much as the heel on your boot can lift from its place. Shall we begin?"

It looked like she was ready to do her challenge with Scheat at hand, but ended up dropping the girl and setting one foot on the back side of her injured shoulder, "I suppose you'll need more room to hit me with. Scheat, dear, move an inch to throw me off and you'll be dead as penalty for interfering the game."

If there was one thing that Sailor Iris had, it was her pride. The moment this Nega-senshi even suggested a need for a handicap, she spat up a loogie, hitting the ground to the side with flem. Since Tisiphone stepped closer, Sailor Iris took a step back. "Handicaps are fer pussies." Despite how confident she was acting, she honestly had no idea what the hell she was going to do. Sure, the slicer was still there, but now it was half the usual size to say the least. At best, all she was going to be able to do was keep blocking the black balls of nothingness with the slicer until it inevitably hit Iris somewhere.

Gold eyes momentarily glanced to the other yellow-suited senshi on the ground. With her free hand, she gave a simple thumbs up and forced a grin upon her lips. "Don't ya worry, kid! I'll win, an'then we'll be able t'fix ya up!"

The cat-earred girl stood there, frozen in place as if she had been the one told that she couldn't move from her spot. Her eyes were also upon poor Sailor Scheat. If ********* had been a perfectly able kitty, she would have been switching back and forth from her forepaws in an agitated fashion at the display. However, she was mostly human in appearance, and in all honesty, she wasn't even allotted that simple pleasure of doing the agitated-dance.

It was absolutely sickening to watch as this black-suited Senshi dug her heels into the other girl's shoulder, digging into the raw flesh that was exposed. "Injuring the prize further is not exactly the way I'd go about this..."

To Sailor Iris (though, her eyes never left Scheat, since Scheat needed all the support she could get, even if ********* could only spare her eyes at the moment), the silvery haired girl advised "Make sure you concentrate, Iris." It was vague advice, but if there was one thing this top-hat wearing cat-girl knew, it was all the tricks and potential to each Senshi attack.

"...Yeah... whatever..." Iris didn't sound very pleased about the advice.

To Scheat, she offered a kind smile, and in a gentler tone than her usual one, she offered simple advice for the younger girl. "Be strong, Scheat."

Scheat mostly went down willingly. After all, she couldn't do much in this situation with shooting pain running up and down her arm. She let out a strangled cry when fingernails dug into her bleeding shoulder, and it ended in a hiss when the senshi was forced downwards. "b***h." It was quiet, under her breath.

She wasn't much for swearing, but this girl deserved it. She deserved to get her butt beat into the pavement as hard as Iris could do it. Once on the ground, she bit off another cry as the dark senshi drove a heel into her shoulder. It took all of her effort, but she remained still. She wanted the negaverser to lose at her own game, fair and square. It seemed like poetic justice to Scheat. Her bright blue eyes locked onto *********, giving her an understanding look. She would be strong, she was a senshi after all. It was her job.

Feeling quite cheery (and giving a light chuckle as Sailor Iris took a step back and defended her pride; poor senshi was probably scared to be any closer), Tisiphone gave an exaggerated wave of her hand, "All settled then? Lets begin."

She didn't want to kill the overly colorful senshi, especially as she was a super. Tisiphone wanted her starseed dearly, wanted to see if the seed of a super was any stronger than others. It would certainly be tricky trying to wear her out so that she could get close enough to get the seed before she died. The one beneath her foot was barely in her thoughts, and the cat was long forgotten. Well, no, not quite. She reminded herself that she didn't know if cats had starseeds. That was certainly worthy of checking.

The dark senshi threw her first void, aiming to hit right beside Sailor Iris's foot just to check her resolve.

Concentration was the name of the game at this point. The senshi's hand tightened up even more, squeezing onto that brightly glowing rainbow (or what was left of it at least). There were a million things at stake, all of them attempting to cloud her mind from the current task. Yet, if there was one thing Iris could do, it was give 110%. Heck, she was probably giving about 300% right now. When she put her mind to something, she did it!

She did catch glance of the dark ball that Tisiphone shot off in her direction, but something seemed very off about the aim. Perhaps if the little ball of nothingness were faster, she might not have noticed. Yet, it went along its path without a hitch, absolutely straight and steady, like some sort of strange black turtle.

"Yer not takin' this seriously?"

Iris' foot did not move, and rather shortly the black void's path collided with the concrete next to the yellow-suited senshi's foot. Where the nothingness hit, a chunk of concrete vanished. Maybe it was because Iris was brave, or maybe she was just stupid, but one thing was certain. She played by the rules.

Once more, her fist tightened around the rainbow, but this time, there seemed to be a reaction within the slicer, which had been laying limply along the ground in all of its partial glory. The girl hadn't even moved her arm, yet the ribbon of light seemed to come alive, making its own trail. Unlike the black orb, the rainbow did not seem to only move in a straight line, moving like some sort of snake or eel or any other living creature without legs.

Tisiphone, however, could see that indeed, the rainbow was short of reaching her. Once it reached the end of its current reach, it seemed to strain forward almost intensely, like the ribbon of light was desperately trying to reach for the dark senshi's neck.

You can do this, you can do this, you can do this, you can do this! The one who controlled the rainbow was staring just as intensely at the end of the slicer, attempting to will it into being able to reach. In all honesty, somewhere in this senshi's mind, she could have almost swore she felt some sort of strange crackling and popping. All of this concentration was probably not good for her health. The senshi decided she probably popped a blood vessel or something. Yet, foolishly, Iris continued to strain herself.

From the place she was observing both Scheat and Iris, the guardian cat knew.

Just like that!

Only two were able to fully see what was happening. Not even Iris could tell that as her brain almost seemed to explode within her skull, the slicer seemed to be slowly creeping forward, growing with each fizzle, crackle, and pop. Only Tisiphone and ********* could truly see this feat as the rainbow slowly began to crawl towards the opponent.
