Random weightloss advice from Rosemary:artificial sweetners in diet softdrinks make me hungry
if they do the same to you buy the nondiet ones instead,
*unless you know that you have a nice healthy meal waiting for you*
and you dont need a whole 600ml bottle,
a can will make you feel just as bubbly
and if your thirsty drink water

Random weightloss advice from RosemaryHow to survive when you just want some cookies (or icecream or chips or chocoalte or whatever)
1. DON'T try and live a cookie free life
weightwatchers recomend spending 14 points a week on treats *stuff that does not go into a foodgroup*
if your vice is cookies
then eat cookies
just don't eat ALL the cookies
and dont eat them all the time
if you dont think you can stop at just one or two, then put it in your lunchbox, that way you will only have one wether you want more or not
2. Do the or game
Don't think "I want a cookie but I shoudl have some fruit"
shoulds are boring
so is wanting stuff you wont let yourself have
think I COULD have a cookie
or I could have an apple
or I could have a pear
or I could have a smoothie
or I could have some low fat youghert
or I could have some grapes
or I could have some corn
or I could have a ham and salad sandwich
or I could have..... and go though a mental list of all your favourate healthy stuff, looking through your cupboards and low fat cook books
and by the time you are at the bottom of the list, you have forgotten all about your cookie
3. Monkey see, monkey do
if your cookies are poking out at you in plain sight as soon as you open the cupbard door,
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MOVE THEM
put them in a brown paper bag, so you cant see the wrapper
or in a tin above the cupbard so you have to look up to see the tin
or put them in an old milo tin, you see the tin and think milo, you dont think cookie
your family might think your crazy for hiding their cookies
but if you are alright with soundind dumb or weakwilled by asking them they will probibly agree,
they like you and your health
4. have a cookie, then a...
have a cookie
then an apple
then if you want have another cookie
then a pear
etc. once you have had your three bits of fruit move on to viegies like carrots and corn *corn is good cos you have to boil it, unless you are likely to eat the cookies waiting for the corn to boil*
you might ruin your apetite for tea, but you have probibly got your vegie portions sorted anyway, just eat the protein
and most importantly of all
if you do eat the packet of cookies
DONT FREAK OUT
eating habits alone did not get you were you are
and hunger alone cannot make you eat an entire packet without thinking
work out what you were feeling then diary it
then congradulate yourself *like seriously, feel blody proud, some people spend thousands on theropy to do what you just did in your eight dollar journal with your four dollar pen*
you have just found a trigger that makes you emotionally eat
finding these goes a long way towards losing weight and keeping it off
its a bump in the road, frustrating but not enough to deraill you
