He nodded and watched her inspect the flute once more, then remark about how much time it would have taken. "Actually, because of the demand, humans have been able to make machines to create these instruments. Granted each one is tested by a person of knowing, but they are still mass produced. 2 minutes maybe to make one" he shrugged. he wasn't an expert on everything in the technology world, but he knew that some of the things that used to take hours, days even, have been modernized to be made in just a few short seconds.

Then she curtsied and the butterflies followed. A bit astonished, he mimicked her chivalrous ways and took a bow, the ends of his head band dangling next to his jaw. "Lavius, a pleasure. My name is Bryyo" he said with a smirk. Tradition to the ways of ninjutsu, he didn't take his eyes off of her when he bowed...then again, how could he?

As per usual, the ways of the modern world suprised her yet again. There were... Machines that produced these sort of things? "How fastinating.." she murmured aloud; more so to herself.

As introductions were made, her own eyes remaining downcast out of respect, she extended her arms to him to present the flute back. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Bryyo. And I thank you dearly for allowing me the luxury of learning about something so obtuse from my lifestyle." she spoke softly.

He tilted his head a bit and his face expressed his confusion. "But...you don't know about this? How could you not? I know who you are. Your are one of the daughters that the Forest demon guy had. My mom talks of him and you often. How, if you live in a place like that, can you not know about modern Tech?" It was something that perplexed him, and it may have taken a bit for her name to register with him, but he was lucky to remember names at all any more

Ears twirking, she blinked in suprise. He knew her father? The thought was a bit amusing, as she was well aware of her fathers personality, and how repulsive it could be to most. But... live in a place like what? Tilting her ears to one side, she smiled lightly, "What ever do you mean, Mr. Bryyo? I have yet to live a fortnight in modern civilization." in that instant she recalled her single visit to that world with her dear friend Quince. It was nothing like what she was used to, and over whelming to the max. She had always lived out in the open wildness that held no mercy for anyone; taking the day and night risks with open arms. Did father live elsewhere, then...? Him and Mama weren't always together... perhaps he had another life she didn't know about? This brought upon a whole new look on the vixens father. Glancing to the side, her mind began to wander, running with this idea of her fathers possible secret life.

"Uh..." he uttered as she explained that she hadn't seen any form of real modern tech. "Well...I guess that explains the flute." He remarked with a mystified look. Even he had to start at it a bit and try to reevaluate his tactics in explaining things. He would figure she had a clue into some of the modern things, but now knowing this, he'd have to simplify anything she asked....if she asked that is

Almost as if fearful her father may be around, perhaps even reading her thoughts, the vixen extended her neck upwards to sniff lightly at the air. Eyes closing, so as to focus better, her ears wavered with each turn of the head she performed. But she could only smell the faint markings of his past presence here.

...it had been awhile since she'd seen him. What could he be doing without Mama around? She never understood their relationship with one another. But she never really thought too much into it. Perhaps she could ask Mama of her and father. By now the young Lavi already had in her mind that it was all natural for father's to be less present than a mother in a child's life. An ideal that she had come to accept and figure to be simply a part of life. This in turn made her ears perk at a realization. Father knew another female?
Attention redirecting back to the male, she smiled softly, and flicked the tip of her tail in thought, "Your mother is an aquaintance of my fathers, then? Perhaps I have heard of her as well. Though I must admit it is rather suprising when I am to hear of another knowing my dear mother's heart." a playful smile curved on her lips as a substitute for a giggle. The butterflies lowered to rest around her frame, lining along the ground in a form fitting design. All but one blue insect, Kite, who remained roosted at the base of one of the vixen's ears; as if to take the role of a clip or brouche.

He watched as she changed a little right before his very eyes. She seemed to be checking for something, or someone, but the question was, who or what? He was sure he would never receive an answer at this pase

"My Mother is Koyuki. Perhaps you have heard of her" he asked as he sat down on his haunches, being rather tired of standing in the metal boots
PostPosted: Fri Jun 11, 2010 11:33 pm

Koyuki... She had heard it before, but only in hushed voices when she was entering into a tail-end of her mother and father's converstations. She must have been a wonderful vixen, by the way Mama smiled when mentioning her name.
As if to mimick it, she too grew a gentle smile on her face, "I believe I have. Mother has mentioned her a few times." But her curiousity remained, allowing her to sit as well, her tail curling along her paws in an elegant fashion.

"Mr.Bryyo. Is there something you know of my father? Of another life he lives, perhaps?" she looked down at her paws burried behind her tail, fiddling them in a nervous habit, "Please forgive me if I am being too forward, but I do not know all too much of his life, as he is not around as often as mother. I would ask him myself, if I could, but I feel it may be inappropriate to." watching a few of the butterflies crawl onto her plush tail, her vine plagued paw lifted to allow a crimson monarch to skitter along the pal apendage. The insect's tongue uncurled to taste the thin and delicate gold leaf that was attached to the vine, managing to extract a bit of dew water from the creviss.

He nodded. "She is a very kind woman. Were it not for her tenderness, I'm sure my twin sister and I would have torn each other apart" he chuckled a bit, happy to be able to get away from her. He could almost care less about how she was doing at the current moment.

"Your father? Well. Honestly, I don't know much about him. I just know that my father warned me to stay away from him. He never really gave a reason, but if my dad doesn't trust him, then it can't be a good thing" he hoped he wasn't being too blunt in what he was saying. He honestly didn't know much and was only going off what he was told, which with his father, was very little

Smiling gently, she gave a nod in agreement, "I have no doubt that she is." But her ears pricked straight up, and an astonished expression contorted on the vixen's face, "Are your sister and you not close?" she couldn't even fathom the idea of not having the tight knit relationship she had with her siblings. They were her best friends, and she couldn't see it being any other way. In fact.. it saddened her that this didn't seem the same for this other worldy fox. "I apologize, that is not my place to ask such things." she bowed her head in respect, and a hint of shame for asking such personal things.

It didn't take long for the female to become engaged again, head tilting as he spoke. Was father... dangerous? Well of course he was, to any who stood in his way, but... Was their tension between this male's family and her own? Had her father done something? ...Koyuki. Did it have something to do with the mother? Ears drooping somewhat, Lavius` usually smooth brows drew together in a distressed look, "I am indeed sorry for what ever grudges our family's may hold against one another... I know my father can be a tryrant from time to time... at least, I know that is how many see him." attempting a half-hearted smile, she couldn't help but curl her tail tighter around her lithe frame. Hopefully Bryyo didn't hold ill-views on the rest of her family. For they were quite different from the alpha demon.

"Yeah...for being twin, Nariko and I are exact opposites, and that's FINE by me" he said with an innocent grin.

Right before his eyes however, she changed, obviously concerned of her father. Knowing this, Bryyo put an arm back around her shoulder. "Hey, don't worry about it. Personally, I've never met your dad, and that's cool..." he paused to look her in the eye "I don't think I can hold a grudge against an entire family just because my dad told me to stay away from ONE person" he grinned once more, hoping his words would cheer her up

Giving thought to his words, she compared her own siblings to her ownself. Indeed they were all very different looks wise, yet all three of them held a certain similarity with one another. Isolde and Trentil were both rather reserved like father, yet both held grace like mother. As for herself, Lavius was a bit more forward than her brother and sister; even though she hardly could notice such behaviour. It made her smile lightly just thinking about them. She couldn't imagine not getting along with them. They were her rock, and closest to her heart. To think that there could be conflict between other kin connected foxes was outlandish in her eyes. Yet... it couldn't help but fuel her curiousity.

Ears twirking upward as the arm came around her again, her body stiffened somewhat, the uncomfortability returning. He was quite... forward and bold, wasn't he? Though, as she came to learn through many experiances and meetings, a few foxes seemed to be lax about making contact with complete strangers and new aquaintances. But it couldn't help to make her feel unsure even further, as she wished to show an approach like this towards others, but wouldn't dare act out of line.
Doing her best not to show her discomfort, she smiled sweetly and pressed her ears along the side of her horns. Her eyes glanced towards the vegetation around them expectantly; as if she were sure her father would leap out suddenly and take hold of this males scruff viciously for his embrace.
Olive eyes slid slowly to the males, accompanied with a gentle expression, "You are very wise, Mr. Bryyo. It is mature of one to not affilate an entire family by their leader's aquaintance with anothers. I must thank you." her head lowered a touch to give a miniature bow.

He looked over, shocked to see the gears in her head turning. What ever could she be thinking about he wondered. But never the less he didn't question it nor falter in his won thoughts, but still he reacted to her words. "Pfffffttt." he said trying not to laugh more so he only waved a paw. "I'm not wise..Trust me on that." he said with a shake in his head and a smile on his face.

Looking back over, he was aware of her....discomfort. Not wanting to be entirely rude, he removed his arm once again...still unsatisfied that she hadn't gotten used to him yet

A soft smile on her gentle face, the vixen tilted her head curiously, "Perhaps you are in certain departments. As many wouldn't think as clearly as you do in such a situation." Relaxing once again as the arm was removed, she twirked her ears lightly. Eyes shifting to look up towards the canopy above, her ears swiveled forward as she gadged the time by the sun's current placement. It was getting a bit late. Turning back to the male with a kind expression, she tipped her head the opposite direction from before, "I was on my way to tend to a few responsibilities of mine. Would you care to join me, Mr. Bryyo? I am sure it will be worth your time, as it is quite a rare spectacle to behold." As she rose lightly to her small paws, the butterflies lowering to hover about her figure, she waited patiently for the Spartan's response, always happy to enlighten another in her little secret.

He still didn't believe her too much, but he wasn't going to turn down a compliment just like that. "Well thank you." he said smiling nervously and rubbing the back of his head. Something he picked up from his father no doubt.

She then turned and motioned in a different direction, inviting him. He looked over to see if Reach was nearby, but the little Kirin had long since disappeared, so he looked back to her and nodded. "I would be honored to join you" he said with a more relaxed smile this time
