"Your the one who punched me and then knocked me on my...NEVERMIND he flustered glancing towards the direction he had heard the voices, his voice dropping to a sandpaper harsh whisper of tension. He glanced away, his own blue eyes an oddly brighter shade of blue compared to her icy ones but he still handed tears worse than almost any other human emotion. The weight of her gaze did nothing to help the awkwardness he felt at the moment. -kind- of evil? what the hell did that mean anyhow?
"ok, we roll over on three...one... two..." He counted off hoping that if they agreed on rolling than at least it wouldn't devolve again into fisticuffs which would surely end up with them at best arrested, at worst -shot- for being terrorists.

"You are just impossible." This was all his fault anyways. Him and the other dumb evil people who were forced to dress up in ridiculous costumes and fight each other. The sailor rolled at the same time as the lieutenant, but unfortunately for either, it was not as easy as planned. While her leg was now free, she was being straddled by the shorter boy. Somehow, the edge of her cape had managed to become twisted around the large button on the front of his uniform. "This is just terrible." The day was just getting from bad to worse. Her angry adrenaline had turned into panicked frustration. Her fingers where shaking as she attempted to disentangle her uniform from his. "HEY. You kids should get a room. Because then you wouldn't be out past curfew." The voice made her blood run cold. It sounded amused, but she also knew whoever owned it probably had many things on their person which could injure her badly. Under her breath she whispered. "s**t. Play along." She tore her cape out of the big blue button, and sat up quickly, pushing against Zinkenite. "Oh my goodness." Perseus put on the best surprised face that she could, a blush rising naturally on her cheeks. Staring back at her was two male members of the national guard. She blinked, checking them for weapons. They didn't have M-16s, thankfully, but both had sidearms that she could see holsters for. One had a flashlight on them.

"Your a fine one to talk." He hissed back when she informed him that he was 'impossible', ugh like she wasn't the one at fault for all of this. Worse and worse that their uniforms were tangled. Could this day get any worse?
It was the age old question that should never be asked, he should have known that as well. Normally he told himself that things could -always- be worse. The universe itself seemed to subscribe to that philosophy as well. Because now not only was he straddling a senshi, hooked to her by his own betraying button. But now he was observed as well, my god he had to look like some horndog twit
He had no trouble managing a blush either all things considered. His eyes flicked to their gun holsters and the heavy flashlight which he judged could also be used to defend themselves. It seemed that ripping out star seeds was right out of the picture... as though he could have gotten away with that with a senshi right there in any case. He doubted very much that she would understand the immediate practicality of it.
"U..um...wow... is it that late already?" He stammered and then gave a small if nervous laugh.

Zinkenite was right in the assumption that Perseus would have stopped him from ripping out their starseeds, if they didn't stop him with bullets first. Still acting, she gave the guards a sheepish smile. "I'm so sorry about this. We must have simply lost track of time." The girl struggled to stand, finally managing to get out from underneath the boy. She leaned in close to do so, whispering just so he could hear. "I would discreetly get your smoke pellets. Don't mess this up." The last thing she needed was for herself to either get captured or shot. Getting captured was the better of the two options, if she could find a place to henshin down. Then she could just call her parents and it would be resolved. Getting shot involved going to the already over crowded understaffed hospital for an emergency. Plus, the pain and all of that. So the best option was pretending that Zink was her boyfriend. Perseus hoped it worked. She also hoped the men overlooked their costumes, even though that seemed a lot to ask. "Being out past curfew for any reason is a bad idea kids, particularly with everything that's happened." The guard swore slightly. "I mean, don't you guys have any parents watching you or something?" Perseus stiffened. She would not give away who her parents were while henshined up standing by a negaverse officer. "I live alone, sirs." It was the easiest (and truthful route). The two army personal looked towards Zink for his answer.

He put one hand in his pocket and rolled the smoke pellets between his fingers and casually rubbed the back of his neck with the other hand looking like a sheepish kid who's just been caught. "Actually my mother is out of town on business..." He said with perfect honesty. "And my father prefers me not to be underfoot." Also true, also implying exactly what he knew his father was up to, without ever actually saying the man either lived at home or remotely gave a s**t.
He was thankful as anything for the fact his clothes looked closer to normal than hers. But at the same time, the fact hers DIDN'T look normal put them at a higher risk. "Were you cold... honey? I can lend you my coat." He offered hoping that the 'honey' didn't sound too forced or contrived.

The guards lowered the flashlight once both teens had hauled themselves up. They looked a bit suspiciously at Perseus, now that they had a full view of her fuku. Not that they knew what it was, but they were thinking it looked a lot like what they had been warned about. "Regardless, you two shouldn't be out past dark." They stepped a bit closer to the pair. "Oh, right, thank you sweet heart." She gladly took the coat offered from the other boy and draped it across her shoulders, taking the time to reach back and pluck the smoke bombs from her bow knot before putting her arms through the sleeves. She was once again thankful that the lieutenant didn't smell. "Say, miss... why are you dressed up like that?" The guard closest to her looked at her suspiciously, eyes lingering on her chest a bit longer than she would have liked. Giving him a look, she wracked her brain for answers. And happened to blurt out the first thing she could rationally think of. "Well, uh...you see, my...sweet heart here likes to role play." She raised an eyebrow at the military personnel in front of her, daring them to say something about it. "If you catch my drift." The two guards coughed awkwardly, one still focusing on her chest. Perseus pulled the lieutenants coat closed more.

If he had ever wished that the earth would open him up and swallow him whole, now was that moment. He wasn't sure that could have been more embarrassing if Demy had said that... no actually he thought it was the only thing that MIGHT have been more embarrassing.
"Suddenly I understand why we're supposed to be homicidal towards senshi..." He said in the barest whisper with the most forced smile he could manage that was dripping with embarrassment. His face shown a deep red even in the meager light of the flash light, actually he would have done cranberry's proud with that blush. It looked awful with his hair.
"She ah... really gets into it." He said for the benefit of the guards. She's kind of um... you know, kinky."
While he couldn't get more red he was fairly sure. He was hoping she might.

Perseus shot a glare at Zinkenite. Oooh, he was going to get it so bad once they were out of this mess. But unfortunately for him, her social training allowed her to keep some of her original facial color. Unlike Zinkenite who was just about as red as she'd ever seen someone get who wasn't on fire. "Well, dear, at least that's not the only thing I can get it up for." She flashed a sadistic smile. The guards where looking increasingly uncomfortable. Eventually they turned, talking in hushed tones about what to do with the two apparently trysting teenagers. The same guard who had been previously staring at her chest was glancing over at her a little more than they probably should. Perseus, despite her current dislike, scooted closer to Zink. "I saw if we are doing this, we do it now." She crossed her arms in front of her, fingers loaded with about 8 smoke pellets, all she had brought with her. She wanted to blast so much smoke that they wouldn't ever see them escaping. She nodded to the path next to her, directly across from the guards. If the lieutenant didn't get the silent hint, then he would be left behind. "1....2...." Her voice was low, but her eyes were focused. The silver blue eyes were hard and determined looking.

"Three" He said with a particular kind of intonation that said he would very much like to shove his own handful of smoke pellets UP her nose for a start. He flicked them almost casually just before the feet of the guards, they cracked and popped into huge thick plumes of familiar grey smoke. Combined with hers it made it a fine thing that they had noted their exit path, He Ducked to remove his torso from 'expected' firing height just in case either one of them elected to be trigger happy and grabbed Perseus's arm and pulled her down as well as he headed for that path she had pointed to moments before.
As soon as they were far enough he thought that speaking again would not attract the immediate attention of the guards they had just introduced to the hazards of smoking he hissed. "If I wasn't mad enough at you BEFORE for you and yours and whatEVER you did to put my friends in the HOSPITAL in whatever kind of COMA they are in... I swear that ridiculous string of excuses..."

Her smoke bombs busted right near the guards feet, adding doubly to the already thick smoke. The two guards coughed uncontrollably, wheezing in the thick smoke. By the time they'd made it to the start of cover, a few voices could be heard in the distance. But it seemed for the most part that the pair had gotten away scott free. Perseus crossed her arms (still covered in his coat, which fit her quite well) and glared at the boy in front of her. "You know what? I am SICK of your lies." She was more than annoyed now, and if her judgment hadn't kicked in and told her that getting in another fight would mean they would be found, then she would have punched Zink again, right then and there. "You think WE did this? I don't know about you, but a senshi's powers DON'T work that way. I can't use my magic consciously for anything but my attack. The powers of corruption, however...well seems to be right up YOUR alley." Her silver blue eyes glinted a bit in the moonlight, glaring daggers at the lieutenant.

"MY lies.... I don't give a damn how you say your powers work, but MY Pa... He stopped himself short if a moment too slow. Still there were far too many civilians in the wards now for her to know of whom he spoke. EVERYONE that is worth anything to me is in that damned hospital from what YOU senshi did you shallow short skirted WENCH Give me back my god damed COAT." HE snapped grabbing at a handful of the material and yanking at it as hard as he could.

Perseus responded badly to being grabbed at. "You'll get your coat back when I give it back." She shoved him off of herself as hard as she could. "Get close to me again and you won't like the reaction." The senshi was beyond angry. Her voice was calm and level, and her expression was blank. She hoped the boy would start something so she could actually attack him. "Your what? Your pa-pa-parents? Is that what you were going to say?" The girl sighed and shook her head. "Did you maybe get past your huge ******** ego for two seconds to realize that hey, MY family might be in the hospital too?" She was quiet for a few seconds to let that sink in. While her parents where not in the hospital, her driver was, and he was just as good as family. He'd been with their family since she was a baby, maybe even longer, and had watched her grow up. Her driver was her confidant. Not to mention her friends as well. Fallon, Jada, and Seth. all of the people actively in her life in Destiny city were patrons of the hospital; they were just as good as family. "God, you are ridiculous to think that only YOUR side of the spectrum was affected. WHY on earth would the side championing LOVE and JUSTICE attack their own families. It makes no sense." On the other hand, Perseus unspoken words were 'but I could see the evil side doing it, if they had to.' She stood out of arms reach of the boy in front of her, breathing deeply. The senshi was just about as close to being on fire with rage as she ever had been.

"Or -what-...you'll love and justice me into an early grave!?" He snapped with narrowed eyes. "Don't make believe that your side wouldn't -sacrifice- if they thought it necessary... love and JUSTICE..." he spat. "If your so god damned JUST than get past the cotton in your ears. WE...DIDN'T DO THIS." His lip curled back from his teeth for a moment in frustration that looked near to tears as he had come, and yet just as close to an immolating fury.
"Let me put it this way i had nothing... to do with this. on the OFF chance that you aren't LYING in the name of 'love and justice', and YOU didn't do it then... " he started then suddenly as though a third option had actually just occurred to him. It couldn't be... could it? Wiseman? But he was... weren't they at truce with him? He had -liked- Scheelite...
What if... what if he only liked Demy's star seed. The thought made him look positively ill. More so because they had all seen the man with star seeds orbiting like hard candy. He actually took a stumbling step back at the weight of the realization before he looked back to her his eyes hard and clear.
"Give me back the coat..." He repeated but didn't clarify for her, what had made him look so suddenly and persistently ill.

"No, but I might do something worse." Her eyes were dead serious. Hell had no fury like a woman scorned, after all. "And will you get it INTO YOUR MIND, that I had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with this?" Ugh, it was so frustrating, to be accused like this. Then again, as reason started to come back into her mind, she'd realized she'd done nothing but accuse him either. The though made her sigh audibly into the night, looking away from him. "Clearly you don't understand being a diplomat either." She looked at him distastefully. "You don't lie unless it is to your advantage. How would my family being in the hospital be an advantage?" There was still the possibility that one of them was being duped by their organization leaders, though, from her understanding the senshi didn't particularly HAVE leaders at this point. Perseus pinched the bridge of her nose with one gloved hand. "Then what?" The boy was holding out on her, and not telling something. And she wanted to know. Was it possible that there could be another source of magic that she hadn't heard about? She'd heard about guardian cats, Queen Beryl, the negaverse officers and Charonite, Zodiacs, and the senshi. None of these, however, seemed capable of doing this before; otherwise they probably would have already. Who else was out there, pulling the strings? It made her feel small again. Tugging off the boys jacket, she returned it without looking at him, eyes wandering off to the stars beginning to peep through the gaps in the trees. He might have noticed that the jacket smelled faintly of cedar and sea breeze. She'd noticed it on herself as well; apparently the soldiers of justice also needed to smell good. Perseus wasn't complaining either, since she enjoyed the smell. She wrapped her slightly torn cape father down her shoulders, accounting for the chill air that had been previously blocked by the coat. "Its not my fault."

"I -may- have an idea who is behind this..." He said quietly. It was that chilling kind of quiet that people delivered news of recent deaths in. "I don't know though... but if it is, then we're both right... neither of 'us' did it." He said in that same tone as he tugged on the coat and did the button.
The smell she left behind on it made him pause. What would they have been to each other, if there were no such things as Senshi or Negaverse, or WISEMAN. He shook his head dismissing the thought.
"I apologize, for not thinking of this earlier." He said his voice tense with the apology. He did not LIKE apologies, he liked them as much as he liked tears. "But I don't dare say more than that..." He rubbed at his temple and his hand was shaking... something had put him beyond unease. His hand slid into his pocket and closed around the panda keychain, even going so far as to pull it out of his pocket and stare at it. He thought about giving it to her, if something happened to him that she might give it to Scheelite... if he ever woke up.
He didn't dare though, if someone saw. He was already in hot water as it was for doing things without permission or orders.
"I don't know..." he said aloud, though it was unclear if he was answering some question he thought she might ask, or if it was to his own unspoken thoughts.
"I should go."
