It was almost three in the morning by the time Dinah had called it quits on reading her book. She didn't know how much more she could take of the gory killings and the monsters. She slept curled in a little ball under a pile of blankets and when she woke at nine thirty, she took a quick shower and threw on a plain shirt and a pair of jeans. She wasn't planning on going out anywhere unless someone called her so she laid in bed to finish reading her book. The moment it got scary though, she climbed under her comforter. She still believed in the monster under her bed because she always had her nose stuck in a book. Reality had never quite taken a hold on the girl as she was always had her thoughts in some fantasy world...and that was the way she liked it.
Dinah was in the middle of the most epically terrifying part of her book when the sudden sound of the doorbell ringing caused her to jump three feet off her bed. Popping her head out from under her lavender comforter, she peered around her darkened room. The ringing hadn't stopped and she doubted monster would bother with a bell when they could just bust open the door. The only person who would ring her bell this many times could only...Ava. She heard something about neighbors and there was obviously something very wrong with them if she was acting so hyper about it. Huffing as she tossed her book onto her bed, she adjust the light blue shirt she had on that had become twisted from being under the blankets. Going over to her window, she slowly opened the curtains and then the window, sticking head out to look down at her friend. "You are going to drive me to insanity with that bell you know," she called down to the blonde. She gave a little wave so the girl would stop abusing the small white button and left her book filled room to let Ava in.
When she finally opened the door, Dinah was practically knocked to the ground as the tall girl rushed in and closed the door behind her. "So do they have a two headed baby or something?" she asked, feeding off Ava's mood. "Are they midgets? Wolfmen? ALIENS?" Suddenly she was back to her usual curious self now that the sour feeling of being torn away from her book had faded. She went over to the window and bent down she only the top of her head was visible to anyone who might be looking. It was a little exciting that someone new was moving into that house. "C'mon! We can see better from my room!" Dinah cried as she jumped to her feet. She tugged on Ava's hand and dragged the girl up the stairs to her sanctuary. Dinah shoved her curtains aside and leaned out the window to get ten inches closer to the house. "Who's that guy by the door? He's yummy!"

♥ OUR HEARTS AND STARS WILL BURN BRIGHT ENOUGH Finally satisfied with her facial appearance, she sprinted into her room to test the fashion waters. Let us be casual today! She noticed her sister had already begun attacking the walls with horsey flavored objects. Saddles and riding boots-galore. Gwen just shook her head, her straight, ebony locks spilling over her shoulders. They couldn't be much more different. Gwen had caught her stuffing her new 'girly' clothes in the back of the closet. The elder sister sighed, and pouted. She would eventually have to wear those, whether she liked it or not.
"Okay, that's it. Your birthday present to me will be wearing the clothes I bought you. For a week!" The last part came in a sing-song voice as Gwen ruffled her sister's already messy hair, "You can't get out of it no matter what!" She jabbed a finger in her direction and narrowed her eyes, her face changing quicker then the shades of a chameleon's scaly skin. Smiling her Gwen-like smile she headed towards her side of the surprisingly very wide closet and began scavenging for her desired look.
She pulled out her favorite pair of jeans, with the rhine stones traveling from down the sides of the hemming to form this dazzling pattern on the back pockets and slipped those on. Finding a regular baby-blue t-shirt, she removed her sweatshirt she rode for the ride here. Some black flip-flops with a slight wedge, sparkly dangles for her ear lobes and she was ready to go. She barely managed to escape the probable episode of her falling into one of those giant boxes in the middle of their floor. Her older brother, the oldest out of all of them, Isaac, had already escaped into the outside world. New neighbors to apprehend! Gwen was sure as summer that Issac would manage to get a bus load of girls on his heels by the end of the week. He was that good looking. Although, she never thought of him like "that", they've been "related" for too long. The thought made her want to up chuck in her new room, but she held it in. Her eyes locked on Nicole for a moment, pondering her words, " Oh, and join us outside if ya like. You should meet some new people...". Her voice had grown into that swelling atmosphere of ultimate care. She really wanted her quiet little Nikky to branch out a bit. Just a bit. Shaking off those tingly nerves that butterflies left, she waltzed downstairs, practically floating and following Issac to the drive way where he skimmed the parameters. As she passed through the threshold between porch and indoors, she noticed her instruments were already put against the walls safely in the living room, which was bare as could be. Hopefully she and her family would be able to whip together a tastefully furnished house by the end of the following months. A thoughtful expression crossed her features before she continued her short stroll to her relative.
"Well aren't you a happy camper, Luke?" She nicknamed him, registering the quiet-sort-of-pissed-off kind of glare he was making on his face. Gwen playfully poked her brother in the side. "I wonder if our new neigh-bs' are afraid of us." Gwen laughed, delighted by this idea. Her mind wandered back to their old place, how some of the neighbors literally were afraid of them. Mostly because their parents were two dudes, and they were a bunch of teens all living together and from different biological parents. What was so weird about that? Gwen didn't know. She always thought her family belonged in a book or something. It was just so interesting. Had she been on the outside, she would of thought 'This family is so bad a**'.

In my field of paper flowers And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours And watch my purple sky fly over me The sixteen year old glanced up as her sister walked in. Her brown eyes narrowed as Gwen sighed, she could pout and sigh as much as she wanted, but she could never change her. Nikki had grown up on a farm and had learned three important things, work hard, don't be afraid to get dirty, and three, don't let other force you to change. That's what Mrs. Chang always said when Nikki told her about the girls in school trying to get her to wear girly cloths. The thought of her first adoptive mother almost brought tears to Nikki's eyes but she blinked them back. She wouldn't cry, not with Gwen here. She turned toward her sister as she spoke and her mouth fell open. Gwen wanted her to do what? Nikki would do a lot of things for her family, cleaning, missing events to earn money, doing chores when another sibling didn't want to, but she had never, and would never, wear girly clots for them. Not even for a dance, not that she went to school dances. Her brown eyes narrowed even more and she glared at Gwen. She wouldn't! She wouldn't even do it as a birthday present. Alright, she might have done it for a day, max, but a week? That was out of the question. "I won't, Gwen, and you can't make me!" Nikki told her older sister firmly. She crossed her arms and glared at her older sister. She dind't care if Gwen was older, Nikki wouldn't listen to her if she asked her to do something like that! She then glanced down at her sticky hands and wiped them on her jeans.
Nikki then stood up and made her way over to her bed. The teenager sat down and stared at the ceiling. She felt the white ceiling slowly drift away and turn into a beautiful, purple sky. Nikki sighed and feel back into the soft grass under neath her. The cool breeze blew gently across her skin and she closed her brown eyes. This was her world, where everything was right. She smiled to herself and glanced up at the sound of approaching hoof beats. She sat up quickly as the herd rushed past her. Nikki reached up and grabbed the black mane of one of the horses. She pulled herself up and onto her back. The mare shook her head and Nikki could hear the wind in her ears. She let out a whoop of joy and leaned forward. The pounding of hooves surround her as she galloped across the plains of her imaginary world. This was how she wished her life could be, with no troubles, no sister telling her what to wear, and being around horses all the time. Her brown hair blew rapidly in the wind and she felt the black mare beneath her.
A sharp ring woke her from her dream world. Her brown eyes flew open and she sat up. She glanced around her room before standing up from her bed and making her way over to her desk. Her blue cell phone was ringing up a storm. She heard her sister's remark on going down and meeting the neighbors and Nikki just shrugged. What was the difference if she met them or not? They weren't going to like her one way or the other. The teenager picked up her cell phone and held it to her ear. "Hello? Oh hi Doctor Park! How's my little boy?" Nikki asked and paused. She listened as the doctor spoke and nodded, "Really, great! I'll be waiting." Nikki hung up the phone and went over to the window. She was so glad her boy was almost here. Things would be much better with him. She pressed her face against the window, looking for the ruck that the Doctor was sending him in. It was onyl a few minutes, but it seemed like an eternity for Nikki, as the truck drove up and stopped behind the moving truck. Nikki spun around and dashed down the stairs, leaping off when she had only four stairs left. Nikki flung open the door and flew past her older brother and sister, toward the truck. As she came closer and large, blue-gray shape appeared form the back of the truck. "Storm!" Nikki called and was met with a loud bark. She came to a stop by the street and knelt down. The pit bull bounded toward her and began to lick her face. Nikki petted him and smiled. Storm stared up at her with brown eyes and barked. Nikki glanced up at the man holding Storm's lease and held out her hand with out a word. The man placed the blue leash in her hand before getting Storm stuff out of the truck. Nikki stood up and grabbed Storm's boxes. She held the boxes in her hand and let the leash drag behind the male pit bull. As Nikki started toward the house, Storm followed at her side.
Storm had been a present for her fifteenth birthday. Her papa and daddy had told her they had something special for her and had blindfolded her before putting her in the car with her siblings. Nikki had been completely surprised when they arrived at a rescue shelter in their old town. Her papa told her to pick out a puppy and Nikki has rushed in. She spent a long time scanning the pens, looking at dogs from Chiwawas to Rottweilers. Her brothers and sister had tried to persuade her to get a type of dog they liked but Nikki hadn't been interested in the Labradors, the mutts, or the Pomeranians. For a while, it looked like Nikki just couldn't find her dog. She had even considered getting a Pomeranian until she noticed a lone pen in the far back. No one had been looking over there so Nikki had never noticed it. Inside were a litter of pit bull puppies that were two months old. Their mother had been used for fighting and breeding and had, sadly, been put down due to aggression. Right away, Nikki knew one of these puppies was hers. Storm had stood out from his brothers and sisters right away. He bounded straight over to Nikki and stared up into her eyes. He was very well built and wasn't afraid no matter what Nikki did. So, Storm came home with Nikki and has been by her side ever since.
Nikki led Storm up toward Isaac and Gwen. She paused by them and set the boxes down. Storm stood obediently by her side and wagged his tail. Even though he was a pit bull, Nikki knew he wouldn't harm anyone. She had trained him to be gentle and calm yet be able to defend if something bad happened. She leaned over and patted his side before looking at her older brother and sister. "Look who's here guys," she said and smiled. Storm barked and pushed close to Nikki. Her long, messy brown hair hung over her left eyes and she pushed it away with her hand. If you need to leave the world you live in Lay your head down and stay a while

Benjamin had driven the whole way alone in his car, a faithful Honda Accord, and right now all he wanted to do was sleep. He was currently stuck in the middle of traffic, almost ready to hit his head against the steering wheel. The man wanted to scream out of his open window, he shut his eyes and breathed in and out, just as his partner, Karl, had told him to whenever he got angry. This gave him something to do while he waited, but it didn't seem to help his his temper much. He, tired and hungry, turned on the radio and began to skim through the stations, it was mostly news that he's already read about. There were political debates, useless prize giving, and the like. Nothing worth listening to. He sighed heavily as his head hit the seat. While he was waiting for the traffic to lighten up, he stared at the triangle on the windshield. The one that the windshield wipers weren't able to reach. Oh, how he hated that spot, especially with his mood in its current state, in fact he wasn't staring it as much as he was glaring.
This promotion was the reason for their move, he was so sure Karl wanted to say something about it when he told his partner about the promotion, he didn't think the children were all too happy about it either. To be honest after he received the news himself, he had considered quitting the job. He didn't even like it anyway, there was nothing he would miss about it. No one in his family knew about how he had given up his lifelong dream of becoming an archaeologist for them. Though, he was pretty sure Karl figured it out all his own. Even when he was young he had been a practical man, he knew that he couldn't raise, house, and feed his husband and children while having the one job he had dreamed about for two decades.
Benjamin growled under his breath, he wanted to get back to his new house that mostly likely had a bed in it...and the family he had given up everything for and he wasn't about to let any single one of these car get in the way of him and his be-family. Just as he was about to honk and stick his head out of the window to yell, he saw the source of the traffic; a car was flipped over and there were policemen surrounding it, Of course, everyone was staring at it, trying to see if anyone had been killed in the accident. He breathed in and out, he could hold onto his temper for another minute or two, because after he passed the overturned vehicle, the police cars, and the ambulance, it'd be smooth cruising from there on.
Ten minutes later he had arrived at Fleet Street, only to realize he hadn't missed much. He thought for sure the moving truck would be gone by the time he arrived. The man had taken a small detour, try to get the lay of the land a bit. He thought back to the name of the street...Fleet Street, he knew his children were probably poking fun at the name. He didn't care much for horror films and the like, he preferred sci-fi tv shows; Star Trek, Doctor Who, The Twilight Zone, etc. He parked the car behind the truck and leaned back with a sigh of relief. Benjamin turned the car off and stepped outside, he opened up the trunk and took out a few boxes that were in there, there were also things in the back seat, he'd send someone to get them later. He rested the boxes atop the roof and slammed the doors shut, he locked the car. Beep. Beep. It sounded twice, letting him know it was locked, it also had a different beep from the other cars the family owned, it let everyone else in the house know he was home. He grabbed the boxes and maneuvered his way around the men coming back and forth from the house. He ignored them when they asked him where somethings went. Couldn't they read? On every box it plainly showed their designation in black sharpie.
When he entered the house, he dropped the boxes on a pile that was already there. He brushed his hair back, and looked inside the master bedroom. The bed frame was there, but it seemed as though they had yet put the most essential part for it to be a comfortable bedstead, the mattress. He called out to a the nearest worker, even though he was sure it could be heard throughout the house, and told him to bring it next. The worker told him that it would be impossible seeing as how it was in the back of the truck. He glared daggers at the poor fellow and walked down the stairs. It was then realized that he hadn't seen any of the children on his way in. Perhaps they were making friends with the neighbors or something.
((I apologize for the lack of prettiness, I'll try to hurry up with it, I just wanted to post before...something happened. I 'unno.))

Karl squeezed his eyes shut tighter. He could hear the clomping of feet going up and down the stairs and it wasn't the most pleasant sound in the world. Had those men never learned to lift their feet when they walked? With a disdainful sigh, Karl admitted to himself that rest was impossible. He frowned at the thought. By no means was Karl a lazy man, but he was getting old, a fact he told himself every day, and the pain in his leg only worsened with every passing year since his misfortune. He couldn't even drive. The only way he was able to make a living was by sitting at a computer all day, which was exactly what he did, too. Of course, a vast majority of the family funds came from his beloved partner, Ben. Karl made a pretty penny whenever he sold his books, but it wasn't often enough to take care of four kids and their college funds. It had, however, gotten them this new house, which Ben had had the privilege of picking out. Well, his books and his family's wealth. It had been great to be born into money, but the most it did was leave Karl with a broken childhood and his own children academic opportunities.
A slight gasp escaped him as he jumped, eyes flashing up and staring up at Nicholas, who had touched his arm to stir him. It had worked. He had been so distracted by the traffic on the stairs that he had failed to hear Nicholas approach. The boy signed to him, asking him if he was busy. Karl shook his head no. He had mastered sign language just for Nicholas. He really did wish he'd cut his hair, though. "Of course I'll help you, love," he replied, taking up his cane and lurching forward out of the chair. It was a task to get back up once he had gotten comfortable in that specific chair. His precious, life-giving laptop was left there. Placing a hand on Nicholas' shoulder, he started to head up the stairs. Karl frowned at the thought of taking on the stairs. Devilish creations. Karl was simply glad not to be in a wheel chair. With an inaudible sigh he climbed the stairs, then followed Nicholas to his room.
"Well, you already seem to have a majority of it set up, son," he spoke, looking around the room from behind his glasses. "This shouldn't take us long," he added as he bent over to pick up a book. Okay, for Karl it would take forever, but he could get through it, if only for his son. Although, he dreaded the thought of finishing the rest of the house on his own while the kids were at school and Ben was at work. As a stay-at-home 'mom' that was Karl's real job. After putting up a few books onto the shelves a familiar voice erupted through the house. "Oh, Papa's home," he noted with a smile. He hadn't noticed the man arrive. It took all the patience in the world for Karl to deal with his partner's short-temper. Amazingly, his temper was often quelled when the kids were around and his anger was never really for them. Karl was the one who handled punishment for the kids when they did something wrong, though that didn't happen quite as often when they were younger. Isaac didn't even matter anymore. They just wanted him to go to college, what else he did didn't matter. With a more energetic limp, Karl left Nicholas' room and down the hall to the top of the stairs and looked down to Ben. "If you stare any harder you'll burn holes into the poor fellow's head. Wait, by all means, carry on." ▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀ I wanna ғιи∂ you when something G O O D happens

x x xxxиιcholαs ʟεε αshεrxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxto sιt ιи solemи sιlεиcε════════════════════════════ "Thank you, daddy" Nick signed to him smiling in a bright appreciative way, he reached out in order to catch daddy he was always worried about his leg and that only made him feel guilty for even asking daddy. It was too late now Daddy laid his hand onto his shoulder and the two of them headed to the stairs, this time Nick did help daddy up the stairs biting his lip in concentration. Upon reaching the landing he let Daddy walk once more by himself as he lead the way down the hall and to the room he had picked out.
"It's better to get things done sooner then later. Do you like it?" Nick asked looking at Daddy and nodded at the fact that it wouldn't take them long and Nicky would be fine if he could not do it anymore. Nick opened one of the boxes pulling out many books as he could carry and walked over to the shelves he had set up. It was difficult for him to have a conversation now with Daddy, with out his hands he could not communicate with anyone. He had never really been to depressed with his problem but nick constantly wondered what his voice would sound like if he had one and what it would be like to make the noises that everyone else did.
Hearing the car alarm beep from down below he turned to sign that papa was home at the same time that daddy had announced it. The one thing that did work correctly, actually excelled more then usual was Nick's hearing. He waved his daddy out telling him that he could finish this up by himself by the sounds of it. Papa was was not in the best of moods and Daddy always made things better for him. It was nice to see them so much in love, he hoped that with his problem he could find someone that he could love and love him in return.
Last year was when Nick started to realize that he was becoming attracted to other boys, he knew that had been okay sense he had two dads. It had still been hard to really tell them because it had been confusing for him to understand completely. Though he had came out of the closet though he had never went out with some one or had anyone that he called his boyfriend or anything like that. Not that it bothered him too much it would happen eventually. Nicky walked back and fourth taking books from the boxes and putting them away until he was finished.
Leaving his room he dodged the movers uneasily looking into his siblings rooms that were empty. They must be outside' he concluded to himself and went down the stairs kissing both papa and daddy on the cheek as he passed. "I am going outside" he signed to the both of them hurrying out the door finding his two sisters and older brother. It looked as if Nikki had managed to get Storm. Walking over to the group of his siblings and stood beside Isaac. "Has anyone came over yet?" he asked curiously a little nervous and excited to meet their new neighbors.

I hate it when a guy doesn't get the door Even though I told him yesterday and the day before.I hate it when a guy doesn't get the tab And I have to pull my money out and that looks bad. Heather Snow stood in front of her mirror, putting her make-up on. Her beautiful blond hair hung down to the middle of her chest and she brushed carefully. She placed her silver brush down and stared at herself. Perfect, like always. She turned away form the mirror and out of her private bathroom, into her bedroom. The room was huge, it was like a fancy apartment. She had a bedroom, a living area, a bathroom, even a small kitchen. Heather had told her father when they moved eight years ago from their small mansion, which was now their guest house, to this new, larger mansion that Heather only needed a simple room, but her father just had to make it like a palace for his "little princess." now, the seventeen year old didn't mind her father spoiling her but she would trade it all for her father to be home more and spend more time with her. Although, her father owned a very large company and traveled a lot these days, sometimes he was gone for weeks at a time. Heather sighed, she shouldn't be thinking about that know. She should be happy! Her eighteenth birthday was only a week away and her father had promised to be home for that! she glanced over at the list on her desk. The long lit were for the kids she would be inviting to her big birthday bash. She sighed, even with all those poeple it wouldn't be the same as last year, because this year Cally wasn't here to celibate with her. Cally was Heather's best friend, but she had moved away two months ago. Heather had missed her very much but it wasn't like she was friendless! She had about half the school talking to her and wnating to hang out. Heather couldn't wait for her party, her father wouldn't tell her what the theme was and Heather was dying to know.
A car horn woke her form her thoughts and she moved to her balcony. She stepped out into the cool air. The teenager glanced over toward the moving truck and a few cars parked outside the house for sell, or the house that had been for sale. So these are the poeple that bought that house. Well, best say hello! Her gaze then drifted to the front door where four teenagers were standing. Two girls, and two boys, and man was one of them hot! He had to be one of the hottest guys in town! He was tall, tan, and had awesome hair! She then glanced toward one of the girls. Heather couldn't believe it, she looked just like Cally! Except for the fact that Cally had much shorter hair but still she was almost identical. Heather quickly made her way back into her room and headed down the spiral stairs. She stopped at the door, ran her hand through her blond hair, and pushed the door open. She made her way down the front path and headed toward her new neighbors. It was a short walk since she lived next door but she took her time, Heather always took her time.
Heather headed up the new family's walkway and stopped right by the porch. She hoped she wasn't being rude for coming over onto their property but she was eager to meet them. She smiled politely and said, "Hello, you must be the family who the bought the place. I'm Heather, Heather Snow, and I live next door to you guys." She glanced around at the four teens. Even though she felt that the younger looking girl seemed dirty and a little weird, her smile didn't falter. Heather took a step back as the dog at the girl's side bark, but she just smiled and said calmly, "I must have startled him." Where are the hopes, where are the dreams, my Cinderella story scene When do you think they'll finally seeThat they're not not not gonna get any better I'm the best damn thing that your eyes have ever seen

⋨ вєnjαmín thurstσn αshєr⋩ [sínglє] [mαrríєd] [dívσrcєd] [strαíght] [gαч] I love him and at times I want to kill our children.
…【Benjamin】was ticked, mostly because he wasn't asleep in his own bed, and also because his stomach was empty. Moving was such hard work, even though the man hadn't done a lot. His partner, Karl, did most of the work. From making sure they had everything to making sure everyone did what was necessary for them to pack up as quickly as possible, Karl had done that. His spouse always seemed to amaze him, he was handicapped and yet he seemed to be able to work perfectly. Of course, some credit had to go to the kids, but not much. No one should have expected Benjamin to help much with the whole packing and loading thing, He had been busy finding them a suitable house to stay in and he was working overtime to help pay for the house since he is completely against loaning money. But really, he felt as though he had been stuck in traffic for at least three hours, maybe more. When in reality only fifteen, thirty minutes at the most, had gone by. Though this was probably due to the fact that he also was impatient.
…The man glared at every single one of the movers as the walked by him, as though they were at fault for his mattress not being in their (his and Karl‘s) bedroom. He was just so bored, tired, and hungry for him to process his own thoughts correctly. Those three feelings were something no good and honest man should ever feel, and especially not all at once, he was so sure there was a law against it, too. The worker that had given him the bad news walked by him again, this time he kept his gaze locked on him. Damn that guy. How dare he deny a weary man a nice bed? He should feel some empathy, he was a man, Benjamin was a man, they were both men and yet the worker seemed as though he didn‘t give a flying monkey‘s a**. He was paying that man? He wanted to punch that guy‘s face in. A voice he hadn‘t heard in a little over six hours (this time, this one was meant literally) his own husband‘s voice to be exact, had taken him away from his staring contest. It brought a smile on his face, he didn’t want to seem sappy, but he loved his partner. It was still unclear as to how much the other loved him. Surely it was not as much as Benjamin’s adoration.
…Although it hadn‘t really been a staring contest. It had been more of him glaring at everyone, he was probably going to be known as the ‘really angry old guy‘ amongst them when they would leave. He didn‘t care there. Right now he was confused. Did he hear Karl correctly? He understood the first part, but that last part was what made him too confused to be angry or hungry. He was still tired though. Carry on? Wasn‘t this the part where Karl would tell him to leave the men alone? Or maybe…his husband wanted him to be confused so that he‘d leave the guys alone. If that’s what it was, it was working. He was about to walk upstairs to greet his spouse the right way, instead of calling back and forth from the bottom of the stairs. He also didn‘t want Karl to end up falling down if he were to walk, even though Benjamin was sure he would be fine. It was then that Nick rushed down the stairs…to join his siblings? He must have missed them on his way in. Benjamin ruffled up his son’s hair as he was given a kiss on the cheek. It took him a few seconds to decipher what Nick had signed, he knew sign language, he just wasn‘t an expert at it. He was learning. He walked up the stairs once Nick was already outside and gave his husband a hug. He knew the man would be warm, he even considered throwing him on the floor and using him as a bed, but then that would just be cruel.

Dylan Smithers cαη yσυ sεε мε ησω ?
The arrival of the Asher family was a surprise to most the neighbors, at least that's what the sixteen year-old Blond pieced together as he watched Zahara, the girl from down the street, bustle away after a quick session of spying. Now, Dylan was not one to judge seeing as he was staring at the house next door as well. On top of his people watching, he had a pair of binoculars in hand for a closer look once a few of the family members stumbled back out of the home. He had just missed when they had arrived and gotten their belongings in but, Heather Snow seemed to bring them out into the open. This gave the loner a chance to get a good look at them. From his goggles, he saw a handful of teenagers and one man who looked slightly older then the rest. A couple of girls, an older guy and... a kid with red hair? Dylan thought to himself, amused at the home having a large family now. To him that was plenty of people, a couple too many even. The younger male preferred his time alone versus spending it with loud people like his mother. Yet, if he knew anything it would be his mother who would be begging her own son to go over and learn about the new neighbors. Just for her own strange game, like if she'd want invite them over sometime for coffee or not.
On a side note, the red haired boy seemed the most interesting to Dylan. He was probably the closest to his age and hadn't appeared to say anything yet. A much easier target to go and meet then the rest of them. A possible friend? That was a laugh, seeing as the blond had practically no real friends of his own to begin with. Though things could change if he gave the boy a chance. If he brought up books and took the bait, then it was more likely for Dylan to stick around and talk to him. Again, most guys his age wouldn't care novels anyways, so it was a slim chance. If anything, Dylan would get to meet the cute boy next door. No regrets there. And yes, Dylan is gay. Ever since he was young, he knew that he was different. He liked to read while the other boys rolled in dirt, he dressed nicer then other guys and most importantly, all his fantasies were with boys. Not once did he ever feel for a girl more than an acquaintance. Dylan always knew, but to this day was never felt the need to tell someone. His mother doesn't know, his father wouldn't care and he had few friends to tell and possibly lose over it.
But now, standing by his window, Dylan decided to do as his mother would ask, for once. He was going to meet the neighbors then scurry away. That was the plan. The second part of his plan was to get dressed from his usual morning clothes into something more for meeting new people. Keeping in mind that he had to make a good impression on his mother's part, he picked through his closet for his favourite pair of pleaser pants, aka his dress to impress jeans. Those along with a white v-neck shirt and light jacket he left his incredibly tidy room for the porch next door. Walking through his house was like walking through a Style and Homes magazine without the cheap decor. Everything was just as neat as Dylan's bedroom but, with more cozy feeling. Even though it was empty of anyone but him. After finally making his way out the front door, Dylan peered over to the little mix-up Brady Bunch next door. With a few strides down his front steps and down the side walk, he stopped at the end of the walk way. He stared at them until someone noticed. Which took a while, seeing as his aura wasn't very breath taking. But one they did, he made his way to their front porch and introduced himself. "Hello, I'm Dylan... I live next door to you all. Welcome to the neighborhood..." He said to them quietly, sticking to his guns and trying not bolt in fear of what they'd say to the boy genius.

♥ OUR HEARTS AND STARS WILL BURN BRIGHT ENOUGH Gwen sighed. The whole family was here out and about on the driveway. Gwen finally felt at home, her cheeks almost hurt from smiling so much. She noticed her younger brother, the mute Nicholas, "speak" to them through his sign language. Gwen could easily respond with actual words, but she needed practice. Also, it would be pretty cool to know two forms of language. "No. No one has come. I think they are all afraid." Her gestures weren't exactly fluid, since she had to pause a bit on the last part of her words. She smiled and shrugged acknowledging she was still learning. She loved her brother. He really was like a brother she always wanted, and he wasn't even annoying like most people said their own brothers were. Issac on the other hand, he was like the brother most people had, even though Gwen did care about him. He was such a rebel, and it bothered her every time he didn't return home. Maybe it was her motherly instinct or something, but he was old enough to do whatever he wanted right?
A bark arose from a distance, and Gwen instantly recognized their family hound. She smiled at her little sister—who had unfortunately turned down her dress offer—carrying the pup she had received for her 15th. Gwen felt her smile waver a bit, upset by her sister's words. Gwen didn't want her to change, and she knew that's what Nikki thought. She could read it in her face. What bothered Gwen sometimes is that her sister didn't really seem to register how beautiful she was. Nikki didn't bother to dress up for anything! And when she did dress up, it was the bare minimum. She couldn't understand why her sister seemed so anti-social and would rather hang with horses then real people. Not that she minded the horse thing, but even when there were other riders out, she never seemed to bother to speak with them. Gwen just wanted Nikki to blossom out of her shell a bit. That's what Gwen always thought. But she never really told Nikki that to her face, she would probably only believe other wise.
"Hey Stormy!" She cooed, squatting down towards the little guy and rubbed his head. He was the sweetest pit bull she had ever met. In fact, he was probably the only nice pit bull she had ever met. All the other ones growled at her. Had Nikki not gotten a dog for her birthday, Gwen would have probably developed an irrational fear of dogs for the rest of her life. Which would have sucked for a girl who actually enjoyed nature every once in a while.
Before she stood back up, she noticed a pair of dainty and well-manicured feet. She seemed wealthy just by her toes. Her fair colored eyes adjusted to the new face as Gwen got back on her feet. She smiled, she seemed friendly! Finally, someone she could possibly chill with. Heather Snow? Sounds like a girl out of a living fairytale, she thought and returned the girl's sparkling smile. She was actually really pretty, with golden hair and bright blue eyes, and she had great style. She didn't know whether to hate her or to like her. She just seemed "perfect". Gwen's mind itched at this, a little bit unsure.
Gwen chuckled as the dog barked. And then he barked again. Why this time? She noticed another character make his way up the drive-way, and very nicely dressed for that matter. Especially for someone his age. He looked a bit younger then Gwen, so of course not too much of a romantic interest. Since everyone seemed a little awe-struck, she thus decided to be the first one to introduce herself, "Hi! I'm Gwen Asher." She paused, unsure if she should introduce everyone else. Might as well, "And this is Issac, Nicholas, and Nicole. Thanks for coming to see us, we thought people were afraid of our little family for a moment there..." Gwen nodded as if this all made sense after she had pointed to the person that coincide with the following names. She eyed these two new creatures. They were going to be fun to observe.

I hate it when a guy doesn't get the door Even though I told him yesterday and the day before.I hate it when a guy doesn't get the tab And I have to pull my money out and that looks bad. Heather smiled and glanced over at Dylan. "Hello Dylan," she said and turned back to the Asher family. "I understand what you mean, when my father and I moved here a few years back we were a little worried at first but this town's great." Her blue eyes sparkled in the sunlight and she glanced over at Gwen. She seemed really friendly, and boy was she pretty! Her hair really complimented her beautifully colored eyes. she also seemed to hae great tastes in fashion. At leats one of the Asher girls knew how to dress. The other one, Nicole, seemed to not care at all about how she looked. Her dark brown hair was all over the place and her cloths were messy and loose. Gwen was a girl Heather wnated ot know, nicole, not so much, but the teenager didn't give any signs of what she thought about the youngest daughter. Her bright blue eyes then drifted toward the two boys. Isaac and Nicholas. She nodded to them. So the name of the totally hot guy was Isaac. "It's nice to meet all of you," she said poiletly. She ran her fingers through her hair and turned back to Gwen. She really wanted to get to know the eldest sister of the family. Hetaher thought that her and Gwen might be able to get along well.
"Hey Gwen, maybe when you and Nicole are done getting unpacked you could come over to my house and we could hang out," she offered. In truth, she didn't want to invite Nicole but if she just invited Gwen it would be very rude. besides, maybe if she got to know Nicole a little better she could grow to like her. Heather hoped Gwen would say yes, she hadn't really been able to hang out with a girl like her since Cally moved away. Suddenly, she felt a loud vibration from her pockett and her rington began to ring. She reached into her pockett and pulled out her phone. She was about to turn it on silent when she noticed it was her father. "Oh, I'm sorry I have to take this," she said, "It's my father." she took a couple steps back and held the phone to her ear. She took a deep breatha dn pushed the talk button. "Hello? Hi dad, this isn't the best time could you... Oh really? Great, I'm so glad!" she spoke, "Well, I'm glad everything is going well. I'm here greeting our new neighbors, the Asher family. yes thye are very nice. npo, i haven't met the parents but the four kids are veyr nice. I'm with them now. Oh and I made a list up for poeple I want to invite to my... oh you have to go? Okay bye Dad love you!" Heather hung up the phone and turned back to the Asher family. Where are the hopes, where are the dreams, my Cinderella story scene When do you think they'll finally seeThat they're not not not gonna get any better I'm the best damn thing that your eyes have ever seen

x x xxxиιcholαs ʟεε αshεrxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxto sιt ιи solemи sιlεиcε════════════════════════════ Nick tilted his head a look of confusion settling onto his face as he looked at Gwen, her sign wasn't hard to understand and it needed a little work but that was not the point right now, at least not to him. "Why would they be afraid of us?" he asked he tried to move his hands slowly so that the others could catch what he was saying but sometimes he got excited or he did not even realize that he was speaking quickly at all. Before Nick could get his answer to the question their new neighbors, or new neighbor a blond girl walked over and started to speak to them.
Nick smiled in a friendly manner but did not move to say anything he always felt weird around new people letting Gwen go ahead and introduce herself. What had caught Nick's eye was the blond that had come almost sneaking over. He spoke in a low voice and looked rather shaken be standing there and speaking to them. Gwen introduced them all and Nick waved his hand at both Heather and Dylan. Heather suddenly took a phone call and Nick watched her for a second before turning his gaze to Dylan staring at him for a moment then turned to Gwen determined to speak to the cute blond neighbor boy.
"I forgot my notebook and pen inside Gwen. Could you ask Dylan if he wouldn't mind waiting for me to run up stairs to get them so I can talk to him?" This time his hands moved quickly he was excited to get to know the boy that looked to be his age. He just hoped that he had not signed so fast that his older sister did not understand what he was trying to say. He looked back to Dylan quickly and back to Gwen wondering if she could tell that already Nicky was beginning to like the well dressed quiet blond from next door.

ísααc lukαs αshєr☆★Isaac was surveying the neighborhood. A flash of white caught his attention but the only thing he saw was a girl with blonde hair going inside the house across the street. "I sure am, Gwen. Nothing more exciting then this," he replied, sarcasm lacing his words. He hand't quite gotten over the hang over thing so he wasn't in the best of moods yet. "I think they are. Someone just ran into that house like something was after them," Isaac said, pointing to the house in front of him. It was a little weird that they were hiding from them. Were they really that scary? He chuckled at that idea at the same time Gwen did. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a familiar blue-ish gray shape trotting beside his youngest sister. Kneeling down as they came closer, Isaac was attacked with a big sloppy kiss. "Storm, that was gross. What have you been eating?" Isaac laughed as he rubbed his cheek on his shoulder to get the slobber off. He scratched the dog behind his ears for a minute before he stood back up. It was obvious that Storm was Nikki's dog with the way he followed her around. He didn't seem to mind Isaac but he only seemed to like him when he hadn't seen him for a while or he wanted an ear scratch.
Soon Nicolas came over, completing the group of siblings. "Not yet. Gwen thinks they're scared of us." Gwen signed almost his exact words a few seconds beforehand but he hadn't noticed this because there wasn't any sound to catch his attention. A few minutes after that though, as if on cue, a blonde girl came strolling over like she was the hottest thing on the planet, which she kind of was. At least she was compared to all the other non-neighbors he hadn't yet met. Storm barked at the girl and Isaac smirked. But then he barked again to tell the family that there was another person coming up the driveway. He didn't even get to introduce himself as Gwen had taken care for that for him. Looking at Heather and Dylan, he was weirdly surprised by Heather's sudden want to hang out with both of his sisters. She didn't waste any time getting to know people, did she? She might be a little too headstrong for his tastes.
As she took the call from her dad, Isaac looked to his younger brother. it seemed like they were the only two not being fussed over. Instead, he saw Nicky signing quickly to Gwen. The only time his hands moved that fast was when he was excited. It must have been because he wanted to speak with Dylan but he probably didn't know sign language. Gwen seemed a little preoccupied with Heather at the moment so Isaac decided he would finally speak up. "Dylan, would you mind waiting while Nicky goes inside to grab his notebook? He wants to speak with you but, he's mute." He could have been a little more delicate with his wording but Isaac was used to this fact so it wasn't a sensitive subject for him. Wasn't there anyone on this block he could befriend? Everyone seemed to be Gwen's age or younger. Sighing, Isaac slipped his sunglasses back over his eyes. Maybe he would just go take Storm for a walk while Nicole was busy being bombarded with fashion advice from Gwen and Heather. He laughed at the idea of Nikki being tied to a chair while the two older girls applied make up.

Dylan Smithers cαη yσυ sεε мε ησω ?
Dylan nodded when his greeting was returned by the eldest daughter, Gwen. She seemed like Heather's type of go-to girl by the way they practically melted into each with talk of plans and such. One family crossed off his list. Next up was the elder brother who, in all honesty looked like he'd rather be anywhere but on this porch with his family and himself. Taking a guess, Dylan would say mister Issac's idea of fun was to party or something outrageous. Maybe he liked to play soccer? His physical strength could be seen on his body, which meant he made himself work out somehow. But, now wasn't the time to play pin the sport on the dude. He still would place his bet on soccer.
Dylan gave Heather a nod, seeing as she actually noticed him even if it might be the only time, ever. The jitters in his body were slowly increasing and telling him that he could meet the rest of the family another time, or never. He just felt so awkward surrounded by very good looking people. If he wanted this feeling, he'd go to prom, alone. But, right here and now the blond was trying to keep his feet glued to the ground. Besides, he had yet to hear a peep out of the red head he was admiring from afar. That was the whole reason for coming over without force.
That is when Dylan noticed the excitable boy moving his hands like rapid fire. It took him a moment to realize he was signing. The young genius closed his eyes momentarily, trying to remember a book he was recently reading on ASL. Why he was reading a book like that in the first place? He was rather bored during his English class, so he got a pass to go to the school library to find something more interesting then the assignment he was already finished. The book just popped out to him. Something new to learn and more the reason to not talk to his mother. Thus, he signed the book out for a week. Turning his attention to Isaac he nodded slowly, "Oh yeah. That's fine. I was just to remembering some signs I know... but, I'd love to talk with him." He mentally smacked himself for saying loved instead of 'its a pleasure, "I mean... yeah I'll wait right here." The cute new boy wanted to talk with him? That couldn't have gone better. He could feel a small, true smile tug on his lips as he locked eyes with Nick for a moment.
Now the panic started up again. He was going talk with him? Dylan was just hoping for a wave and a smile, but this was more than what he expected. Next to that, he felt bad for the red head. At least he wasn't deaf, or at least he didn't give off any indications like that. But, when meeting someone that just seems bursting with life who can't speak, it makes you want to hand over your own voice. Well, that's how Dylan felt anyway. On the up side, his wish was granted. No loud mouth neighbor problems. Did someone order the silent type next door? Order up! Dylan wondered what to say to Nick. Hi there. You're mute.. I mean cute! I mean... new to town? Well, I mean one would guess since you're moving here. But, what do I know? Nothing! Wait that's a lie... He needed some social skills, and he needed them fast.

x x xxxиιcholαs ʟεε αshεrxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxto sιt ιи solemи sιlεиcε════════════════════════════ Nicky looked over at Isaac as he took on the job to be Nick's voice since Gwen was never the less distracted. "Thank you Isaac he said then looked to Dylan hoping that it wouldn't be too weird for him to talk to him through a piece of paper. But what he said about trying to remember signs that he knew made Nick's smile grow even larger. "Wait right here. I will be back promise" Again his hands flew as he signed what he wanted to say and he was running back to the house in a hurry tearing through the door and all the way back upstairs to his room fetching his pad and pen.
Nick ran back through the house jumping a few of the stairs and practically flew to the door. He stopped and collected himself, he needed to calm down a little or he might scare the cute blond from next door away. He took in a breath and let it out with no sound then opened the door. Once outside Nick held up the pad and pen to show that he had gotten it and now he could talk to Dylan. He wasn't sure what he was going to say just yet but he did want to talk to him. As Nick walked he scribbled away on the paper and held it out to Dylan once he was finished. I hope that this isn't too strange for you The note began, I was just curious to know how long you have lived here and how old you are
Nick hoped that Dylan could read his writing sometimes when he got excited he would start writing in cursive purely on accident of course. He also hoped that reading his responses and questions constantly would not bother the cute blond s much that he would not want to talk to Nick anymore. That would have really sucked, Nick was not usually one to jump on instinct but this was a lot more easier then one of his siblings be his translator.
Nick was content on only talking to one person right now that was Dylan he seemed to be more intellectual then people his age and wondered if he to was a book lover. Holding up a finger at the thought he gently took the pad away writing upon it once more then held it back out to the blond. "Do you like to read books?" Was all that he had added.
