... ..............LAVIE............. We were ɖσσмєɖ from the start..................... She'll feel better as long as someone is ρυиιsнєɖ................• • • • • • • • • • • • XXXXXXXXϨchool was on break, thankfully. Brooding over with, Lavie was brought back to reality by a knock on her door, causing her to curse. Nana was there for the two to go out together. She, still being in eight grade, and moving into ninth in the spring, still had to attend school with Nana and Mizuki before being considered a "big kid" who could take care of herself. "Coming! The door's open!" Pulling on a coat, knowing that it would be chilly, the carrot top went to the main room where the door was, greeting Nana.
XXXXXXX"Sorry, I was grabbing my coat. Ready to go?" Grabbing her purse and cheap MP3 player, the tiger glanced at the clock, seeing they still had about time before actually having to leave. Her wallet had been stuffed deep into her bag, so she wouldn't be going to any spending anything for awhile.
XXXXXXLavie was one of the lucky ones who wasn't accepted by her parents, meaning she didn't entirely have to live in the Sohma estate; Meaning, she could live with outsiders when she reached high school closer to the inner city, and more convenient since their high school was farther than the middle. Though that did mean leaving most of her family behind, the girl didn't mind. She could be free and attempt to mingle with outsider boys.
XXXXXHanding Nana some money that she left on the counter, she grinned. "We can go to that shop since it looks like you didn't go yet. And if you need to buy a lunch or something, it can probably pay for that too. You wanting something to eat before we go?" Some food was still out, and making another egg for Nana wouldn't take too long anyways. The tea was still warm, and dishes were clean, meaning if anyone came over later, they wouldn't have to do the house keeping themselves. Many Sohmas had a key to her apartment to keep an eye on her, as she was sometimes a little rowdy if provoked. Though it was rare, and Lavie was generally quiet with her seniors, and laid back, not letting many things to get to her.
((OOC: Edited it so that Nana and her are going shopping. Pretty much the same post as before.))• • • • • • • • • • • • ............... I-it's cute! sυρєя cute! ............... . . . Did I step on a мιиє or something? ..................

Hearing the familiar voice of her cousin, Nana opened the door and walked in. The warmth hammered angrily into her. She didn’t necessarily welcome it before her bright haired cousin arrived in front of her.”Ohaiyo.” she murmured her greetings before further inside. She had come to walk with Lavie around the city, cheerful that school was finally out, and just stay outside watching the snow fall down. Nana shrugged half to herself and nibbled on her lip, wondering where she had stashed her extra school uniform. She kept it in her locker at school, and she often came to school in regular clothes, because the thought of wearing a skirt in the winter time made the Ox girl scowl and wonder exactly who was the pervert who designed her school’s uniform.
"No prob. Just waiting for you." she mumbled, feigning irritation. Hands soon stuffed back into her pockets, Nana twitched her nose at the warmth of her tigress cousin’s apartment. She actually loved the winter, especially considering that she was born in the cold conditions. Even as a two year old she’d wander dangerously close to falling off the porch and into the inch thick snow that mounted often on the trim lawn. Nana was lucky she supposed. Her parents hadn’t rejected her at all, and wanted Nana to be a full part of their lives, no matter what. Even when she was little, Nana’s father would hold her after a particularly horrifying nightmare and when his daughter transformed into a tiny black and white calf, he’d keep holding onto her until she fell back asleep. Being part of the curse also made her father a bit more protective of her, and that certainly was irritating but Nana guessed it could’ve been worse. Her father could’ve left and shunned her completely. Realizing that she was putting herself partially in Lavie’s situation, Nana stopped thinking shortly and looked back at her cousin.
She strolled over to the money and quickly shoved just beneath the left strap of her bra. Safest place for it.’ she thought dully before smiling at Lavie. ”Thanks, dollface. Maybe just some tea and a bit of toast, if that’s alright.” she replied before stuffing her hands back into her pockets. She looked around Lavie’s apartment and smirked. It looked nothing like Nana’s room, which was basically a pit of manga, CDs, and emptied pocky boxes. It was messy to say the least, but at least she could tell where everything was in all the clutter and chaos. ”And in return for the cash, could I make you something? A necklace or ring perhaps? Maybe a painting of sorts?” Nana asked. She was pretty big on homemade jewelry, and the strings and charms that adorned her neck and ears were example of that. She had always been something of an artsy person, which was another reason why she loved manga so much. Aside from the delicious plotlines, Nana analyzed drawing styles and further improved her own skilled hand. It was amazing that she had never taken an art lesson in her life. [[OOC;;Edited.]]

BEEP!BEEP!BEEP!
"Ugh, morning already? Five more minutes".
You know that feeling you get in the morning when you just don't wanna get up out of bed? Yeah well, that's how she started her morning. The annoying beeping coming from her alarm clock was slowly making her anger rise, making her more annoyed at it. She prayed for the beeping to stop soon so she wouldn't have to get out of bed, the clock on the other hand decided to do the complete opposite and get louder. She groaned and threw the covers off herself as she jumped out of bed. "Alright already just shut the hell up!" She snapped, throwing her alarm clock against the wall.
This, is Tatsuki Sohma, otherwise referred to the family as the zodiac cat. Yeah, she was the pathetic animal that was thrown aside and made an outcast by those who were supposed to be her family. They didn't care, they hardly cared about someone who they don't even consider one of their own.
Silence. The sound she loved. She slowly wandered over to her window, pulling the curtain aside to see it was snowing outside. Lovely. Then again, she would take snow over rain, but then again snow was just frozen rain. Rain made her grumpy, and right now her morning was not off to a great start. Nine in the morning? Damn she could have slept for another hour or two. It wasn't like she had school to worry about, since she was on winter break. Praise the lord for winter break. She hated school, and she hated the people more. She was happier being home and in her bed or curled up somewhere warm and alone.
No sense in going back to bed - even though she wanted to go back to sleep so badly. She sighed and walked out of her room, heading right for her bathroom where she brushed her teeth and brushed out her long, dark brown hair. She felt like taking a shower later, maybe a bath to relax herself. Once done in the bathroom she headed back into her room. She sighed and dragged herself over to her closet where she got herself dressed into a pair of cargo pants and a black sleeveless turtleneck. She wasn't going to head out in the snow today, why should she? Then again, she should go out to get groceries. She had forgotten to go to the market yesterday after she got off work at the bookstore. Ugh, she wasn't looking forward to going out in the snow but she needed to restock on groceries otherwise she would be eating leftovers tonight; not that she didn't mind it, she just liked her food fresh.
She grabbed her thick winter coat and slid on her sneakers before she pulled the hood up over her head. She grabbed her wallet and her keys and headed out the door, the cold wind brushing against her cheeks. She could have taken her bike, but then she would have to risk riding on ice. She might as well just walk.
Slowly she headed for the market, keeping her hands in her coat pockets to keep them warm as she walked through the snow. She couldn't wait to get there, buy what she needed, and get home where she can curl up in her warm house like the cat she is. Ugh, thinking about it only made Tatsuki move faster, avoiding the crowd of people as she reached the main streets. Finally, there was the market at last.
Why did it seem to take her longer to get to the market than usual? Maybe it was because Tatsuki had took her time getting to the market, where usually she races to get there and get back. As she entered the market she grabbed a basket and started wandering the market, grabbing the foods she needed and placing it in her basket. "Lets see...milk, eggs, rice, seafood. It looks like I have everything but I feel like I'm missing something." Tatsuki muttered to herself. Oh that's right, she forgot the noodles. Once she had grabbed that she headed to the check-out line, feeling a bit uneasy as she stood there.
Finally, after checking herself out and paying for the groceries, she grabbed the paper bag before heading home. She sighed as she walked through the snow once more, singing along as she headed home.

... ..............LAVIE............. We were ɖσσмєɖ from the start..................... She'll feel better as long as someone is ρυиιsнєɖ................• • • • • • • • • • • • XXXXXXXX"Ϩure, what kind of bread do you want? And don't worry about making me anything. If you really want to, surprise me." Taking out Nana's desired bread and putting it into the toaster, she grabbed another small cup for tea, pouring the warm liquid inside. Smiling at the offer her cousin had made, it wasn't necessary. Glancing back to her fridge, the tigress frowned in annoyance, realizing she'd have to do groceries later, which meant she would only be able to buy a couple of things for recreational activities. No matter which room one was in while at Lavie's apartment, it was plain neutral colours, giving a boring effect.
XXXXXXX"I really need to paint this place too... Maybe when I get some more time I'll bring some life to the walls." Aside from her room that was cluttered in old posters and drawings, there was nothing on the walls aside from appliances, a clock, and a calendar. As Nana settled down to eat, finished, and the dishes were placed into the sink, Lavie had grabbed her scarf and earmuffs, hating the chilly weather. "You know Nana, I wonder if High school will be like Middle School and question your hair colour. It'll be pretty funny if anyone makes a scene over it, no?" Not that she was one to talk with bright orange hair and green highlights, but the green was intentional on her part. The girl needed to be creative someway if she had to wear a uniform six out of seven days of the week.
XXXXXXNow that both girls were ready to leave, and time was in a slight standstill due to her daze. Wondering if Mizuki was going to join them, or if they had any real plans for what shops to visit, Lavie prayed she wouldn't get a cold from the snow. Despite being born in November, Lavie hated the white season with a passion for more reasons than just the temperature. The season made her poor due to all the money she had to set aside to celebrate Christmas with her closest cousins and friends, not to mention the ceremony at New Years the zodiac had to attend, and the fact that she had to wear a short skirt to walk to school every day. "Aren't I the cheery one today?"• • • • • • • • • • • • ............... I-it's cute! sυρєя cute! ............... . . . Did I step on a мιиє or something? ..................

 Beep. Beep. Beep.
She rolled over in her bed, sleep still riding on her thick brown lashes.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
She rolled over once more, and this time a slender hand peeked out from beneath the comforter and easily pressed the ‘Snooze’ button on her alarm clock. But that didn’t stop the loud aggravating beeping noises from erupting from the gold colored alarm clock. Hachi Akatsuki blinked her eyes open slowly, lazily before she realized what time it was. Nine! Damn it! I’m gonna be late!’ she yelled out madly in her head. She was quickly out of bed and onto her feet, stumbling around for the uniform long sleeve shirt she had to wear. And then in a less than graceful way, Hachi stumbled over her own two feet and was thrown into a white bean bag chair, decorated with maple leaves. She scowled heavily before picking herself up and actually finding the shirt hiding just beneath the bean bag chair on which she had previously fell upon. Rubbing the bridge of her nose, the brunette beauty walked out of her room and down the hallway. Sure enough the sounds of her mother, father, sister, and brothers were slowly beginning to give the Akatsuki household some life.
She moved into the bathroom and quickly turned the water up to the hottest temperature, effectively leaving none for her twin Naomi. The shower was long and warm before Hachi stepped out, wrapped in a chocolate brown towel. She hooked in the blow dryer and soon her thick brown curls were falling over her shoulders in dry heaps. When Hachi exited the bathroom, she was lucky enough not to trip on anything and made it back to her room without any incident. Though after the soft click of her own door closing, she could distinctly hear the voice of her twin screaming out ‘Damn it, Hachiii!’, to which, Hachi couldn’t help but smile. Big brown doe eyes twinkling, Hachi pulled on the white long sleeved shirt with the Inner City Manga Shop logo blared across her chest and stomach. She worked the Saturday shifts, but she was hoping that she just might be able to wriggle her way out of most of her duties. Considering that most of her hours at the shop ended up with her bored to the bone with a paycheck about the size of her little brother Sonosuke’s allowance.
”Because all is right with a world that has a working girl making less than her snot nosed little brother.” she mused. She yanked on a pair of dark wash jeans and laced up a pair of dark brown combat boots onto her feet. Hachi then traveled across her room and rustled through her drawers for her favorite bandanna. When she finally found it, Hachi tied the cream colored cloth decorated with multiple maple leaves around her head, she felt satisfied. She jogged outside her room and into the kitchen of her house. She gave a brief ‘Hello’ to her parents and other brother Kaine before she snatched up a piece of toast with fried egg on top. ”Thanks Mom! I’ll be back later!” she chirped as her mother handed her Hachi’s house key. She always seemed to forget it just as she was slipping out of the house. Her coat was hanging on the coat rack that was just beside the door, and that was Hachi’s ticket to freedom. Though she was able to get half an earful of Naomi’s morning rampage, Hachi still was able to make it out of the house as she fumbled to get her jacket onto her body.
Smiling beside herself, Hachi somehow burst out laughing when she came to the gate in front of her parent’s home. She opened it, a goofy grin still on her face before she continued walking down on her way. Today was shaping up to be a normal day. She’d go to work, be lazy, get threatened with being fired, go home, have Naomi scream in her ear about using up all the hot water, have dinner, crack loving jokes about her mother’s new pregnancy, retire to her room, and listen to music while reading books on forests and greenery until she fell asleep. Her life was fairly routine, and Hachi liked the warm sense of normalcy in her world. It was comforting in a way. ”Morning, Kaede!” a wayward voice traveled to her ears. Hachi looked up and smiled at one of the neighborhood kids waving at her. Because of her constant use of maple leaves and maple leaf designs, Hachi was dubbed ‘Kaede’ at a young age. Though when people called her by her real name, strangers often mistook ‘Hachi’ for her nickname. It was confusing most of the time, but it was sweet nonetheless. Hachi waved at the kid before she zipped up her warm coat and continued walking.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXDon't you have any sнαмє? No matter what happens we'll be тσɢєтнєя. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXNo, I was simply too amazed by your sтυριɖιтʏ to say anything. Shuichi Sohma"The Rooster" XXXXXXIt was nine in the morning, and winter break was thankfully there to keep the rooster-cursed Sohma under his sheets in his house. His parents were both gone to work for the day, meaning he was like always, alone. His curtains were closed tightly the night before, as Shuichi knew December snow meant bright mornings. The banquet was coming up soon, as was Christmas, causing the boy to grimace. He hated celebrations. Especially one that celebrated their curse. Turning over in his sheets to face the rooster shaped alarm clock, it read a little past nine, and too early to move in his opinion. Sadly, he couldn't keep lying around for the rest of the morning. Shuichi's younger brother was going to wake up soon, and get into the kitchen. Now, the boy had no problem letting his brother play with knives, but his parents did. Envious of the squirt, Shuichi forced himself out of bed with a loud yawn and good stretch. Shuffling his way to his door, down the stairs and stumbling into the kitchen, he read the note left behind. "Make your brother breakfast and watch him for the day. Alvis (the maid) caught a cold." Sighing, he called up to the tyke, taking out some eggs and milk. In the mood for pancakes, the seventeen year old started mixing the batter from scratch, surprisingly making an effort for he and his younger sibling. Even if Shuichi wasn't fond of the second Sohma born into his household due to pure jealousy of not being cursed, the guy had to love him. It wasn't like he wished for them to switch places so he could be free, but being cursed aggravated him.
XXXXXHis mother refused to touch him unless absolutely necessary, as she didn't like his cursed state, and it was a pain to have someone taller than you just disappear into a farm animal by a mere touch. His dad on the other hand, loved him unconditionally, and took on the "mother" role just fine. That said, he didn't ignore Kazuma either. The three were always rough housing or fooling around when work didn't need to be done. Back to the present, Kazuma was sitting at the breakfast bar staring at the food that would probably burn if not taken off the stove immediately. "Morning. you're stuck with me today, so you better behave, or I'll get Alvis to cough all over you." Lightly threatening the boy, he served him his plate, getting syrup and other necessities. Sitting down himself, ignoring the look his brother was giving him, as Kazuma was the opposite of Shuichi, and rejected him, the kid kept quiet.
XXXXIt was weird, having your parents accept you and your little brother who is into fantasy stories reject you. Maybe he was jealous that he didn't get the fun of turning into a bird? Doubt it. He just found it gross. Yeah, probably. But then again, Shuichi found Kazuma's habits gross, so it was at least mutual in one department. Shuichi glanced at the calendar, wondering just what he was supposed to do with a seven year old kid who hated all the things he liked, whilst he hated everything the boy loved. Polar opposites did not work when forced to spend the day together. Thinking of asking another Sohma to babysit, the high schooler winced at the sound of his mother's shrill voice later. He would have to pass on that plan. Maybe they could just play in the snow or go on an adventure (technically walking but Kazuma would pass out before they even got outside if the "w" word was mentioned). Tell me what I think just happened ɖιɖи'т just happen! Aw, have my words made you αиɢяʏ?XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX I believe the technical term is 'вєιиɢ αи αss.'

Nana shrugged at the question. ”Doesn’t matter.” she replied smoothly, not bothering to sit down. She smiled in thanks at the tea, and the girl took the cup in gratitude. She took the tea cup in her hands. The liquid was still fairly warm, but it wasn’t scalding hot as Nana normally liked it, but it was still delicious. Nana smiled cheerily as she took in the scent of the tea before she took a long drink of it. Not before long, Nana finished the drink and looked back at Lavie, a smirk curling onto her face. ”Well, you could use some cool new jewelry. Consider it done.” Nana chirped cheerily before setting the cup back down onto the counter. Easily, Nana settled down to take the toast. She nibbled on the edges before she soon finished the last of her small breakfast. It was simple to say the least, but it was good all the same.
Nana watched as Lavie continued around her apartment and could only laugh at her cousin’s question. ”Hilarious, Vie-Chan. It’d be hilarious if someone made a scene. Especially if some student council president or something made a big deal out of it. But I wouldn’t mind proving that the white was natural, ‘specially if they were pretty cute.” Nana said, a perverted smirk curling onto her lips. She was just like her predecessor Oxen children in that aspect. Flipping from ‘White Nana’ to ‘Black Nana’, and sometimes when she could still have control, ‘Grey Nana’. She shrugged flippantly as she nearly skipped back over to the door of Lavie’s apartment, a grin still alive on her face. In hindsight, she probably should’ve taken off her shoes on her way into the little home out of respect, but knowing that they’d just be leaving out the moment Lavie was ready too made Nana reconsider. ”I’m gonna miss you when you’re off in high school land. Leaving me alone with the rest of those scary last year middle schoolers. Maybe I should skip a grade and stalk you.” she mused cheerfully.
”Ready?” Nana asked curiously, her hand on the doorknob. Then without much hesitation, Nana opened the door and stepped outside. Her body and face welcomed the cold cheerily. But Nana only smiled when she remembered that Lavie didn’t really like the cold. It was ironic in her opinion, and few of their shared friends thought so as well. Nana folded her arms as she waited patiently for Lavie to come out as well. ”You know if Mizuki is coming out with us, or is it just going to be the two of us?” she asked, rocking back and forth on her heels, and then to the balls of her feet and back and forth.

Hachi sighed softly as she began whistling a happy tune before she finally reached her destination. Her shift didn’t start at nine sharp, so she had a good five minutes to buy something to fill her stomach. She wasn’t full yet. A fried egg on toast didn’t normally fill a girl up the way it should. There were a few shops around, but nothing really caught her attention in particular. Maybe she should just go inside the store. Besides, she still had more to do. After her morning shift here, Nana had an afternoon shift at ‘Totoro’s Sweets’, a candy store only a short way away from the manga shop. At least her job there gave better pay. They had a lot of customers, mostly just little kids and Hachi loved children, especially when they weren’t related at all to her. Don’t get her wrong, Hachi loved Kaine and Sonosuke (and sometimes Naomi), but a girl can only take so much family in one sitting. She preferred to have them in the morning and at night, and nothing in between. Yeah. That sounded just right.
So Hachi decided to walk around for a few minutes. She passed a few clothing stores, a bakery that had such wonderful scents wafting out from it, and a wide array of other shops and boutiques. Hachi couldn’t help her soft smile as she passed Totoro’s Sweets on her way back towards the manga shop. She walked inside, and was grateful for the warmth that hit her in the face that second. She waved to one of her fellow workers called Toyyo and he waved back with a smile on her face. The Inner City Manga Shop was split into two parts; the manga shop and the candy shop. Be it Hachi’s obsession with candies of all kind, Hachi worked in the candy part of the Manga Shop as well as Totoro’s. She shrugged. She already had a few fillings of her own because of her personal obsession, but that didn’t bother her much and it didn’t seem to bother her mother, who’s only concern was that Hachi brought back enough extra sweets for the rest of the family.
Hachi walked over to her counter and waited behind it with Toyyo for any customers to start coming in. She slid off her coat and dropped it on the floor behind the counter, not really minding. Toyyo scoffed and kicked Hachi’s jacket away from him. Absentmindedly, Hachi reached for the phone she had forgotten was in her pocket and slid her phone out before she started a text.
To: All Contacts From: Hachi <3 Message: Anyone else awake? Someone talk to me~
Hachi pressed the ‘Send’ button quickly before she rested her elbows on the counter. She rested her chin in the palm of her hands after she slid her phone back into her pocket. ’And I’m waiting…. For something…. To happen….’ she thought sleepily.

❤ ████████├ A M A M I ❤ a y u m u ┤ ████████ ❤ XXXXXXI'm locked in my own shell...this wall is hard to crack, get me some help from the outside world! If there was one word that could describe the world at this very moment, it would be frostbitten. This is how Ayumu felt. The icy chill had somehow sharpened the world, if that was the word for it. Her vision some how seemed to multiply, making whatever she saw sensitive to the look. It was amazing, and slightly over whelming. She wanted to keep looking and at the same time, numb her vision a bit. She missed the lazy, hazy vision of the summer time. Ayumu sighed, tucking a foreign strand of vivid hair behind her ear. Walking down the street in a world of grays, blues, and whites, she looked practically like a magenta dot floating in the snow. This is why her friends never missed her wandering down the street.
Deciding it was too dang cold to wander aimlessly today as she always did unless she had a job—currently unemployed. She huffed and checked the loose change in her pocket. Enough for one hot cocoa and a cinnamon roll. Something to numb this icy clarity in which she called winter. She pushed open the door to the bakery and wandered up to the counter. Placing her order, she leaned on the counter in a way that would look like she had a cool demeanor, but really, she was just lazy sometimes. She couldn't wait to take a chair by the icy window and let the steam from her fresh beverage warm both her and the bit of frost on the pane. People watching was fun, so it was also another pass time of hers if she wasn't taking pictures. She had unfortunately left her camera at home, a thought that slightly depressed her.
Her order rang, and she paid the nice cashier man before eying her prize seat. It was pretty quiet and easy in the bakery, since it had probably just opened. She didn't smell the usual over powering aroma she always did when she came in the late morning or afternoon. She didn't even drink out of her hot chocolate but instead let it warm her gloved hands as she stared out the window. She munched on her cinnamon roll a bit, the sweet sugary taste sizzling her taste buds. This was pure bliss! Who ever created the cinnamon roll should be awarded with some noble prize. █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ Satoru Sohma █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ Seeing as how it was the weekend, it was only natural for Satoru to want to sleep in. His body, however, greatly protested as it was set on a daily schedule to rise early and go to bed late. For once he would have enjoyed to sleep just a little longer, but the choice had not been his. Instead Satoru found himself staring out the window as he sat in his reading chair, watching the snow fall to the ground. Satoru didn't particularly care for the cold and had no intentions of going outside on his day off if he could help it. Although, fate was not in his favor this morning, because when he had gone to fetch himself some breakfast he had found there was nothing suitable to cook. This was one of Satoru's faults. He had never learned to cook for himself, always more business oriented, and most of his meals were either take-out or microwavable.
Hearing his stomach growl at him, Satoru frowned and ran a hand over his face, pushing his glasses up to his forehead. Sighing, he fixed his glasses and then ran his hand through his hair. He took up his cell phone, ready to order from whatever restaurant would deliver to him in this weather, when he looked out the window just in time to see a familiar face striding down the street. It was Tatsuki, that prissy cat, someone he rather didn't care for. She was holding a bag however, and Satoru could only conclude that she had just finished shopping. Perhaps she knew how to cook? The two may have never gotten along, but she was the only one he knew that lived close to him and as long as he was being fed he could put on the charm long enough to fill his belly. Besides, it wasn't like he wouldn't pay her in compensation.
It just so happened that Satoru had the girl's phone number, given to him by Ryouta at a gathering once. He couldn't, for the life of him, remember why, but apparently it had been important enough for him to enter into his phone. Although hesitant about the decision, Satoru could not ignore the need to satiate his hunger and did the only thing he could think of that she would respond to - he began to text her. It was what all the kids were doing nowadays, apparently. Even though he wasn't very old himself, he still felt much older than what he was.
To: Tatsuki From: Satoru msg: Hey prissy cat, I thought you hated getting your dainty little feet wet? Why are you trudging around in the snow?
He begrudgingly sent the message and then set his phone in the windowsill, staring down at the girl as she drew closer to the apartment complex. First he would catch her attention, then he would thrust the deal upon her, offering her double what she actually paid for the food and, of course, the luxury of his company.

She tried not to think about the snow or how cold it was outside on the walk home. Her cheeks were red from the wind blowing against them. It was a sudden ringing though from her pocket that snapped her out of her somewhat daze. Who the hell would be calling her? She pulled her phone out of her pocket and flipped it open, only to see it was a text message. She raised a brow before she clicked the 'OPEN' command and read the message. The brow she raised started twitching and she was close to snapping the phone in her hand. How the hell did the damn rat get a hold of her number?
"Who the hell is he calling a prissy cat?" She said to herself, her jaw clentched tightly. That damn rat always liked to mock her in some sort of cocky way. Wait, now that she thought about it, didn't he have an apartment near here? She took her eyes off her phone and looked around, apparently she had to be near if he was able to see that she was out in the snow.
She felt like shutting the phone and walking the opposite way, but it was bugging her on why the rat of all people was texting her. With one hand she texted back.
To: Damn Rat From: Tatsuki
'What the hell do you want you damn rat? Do you have nothing better to do with yourself than mock me? You're a creep!'
With that Tatsuki hit the 'SEND' command and watched as a little letter showed up on the screen of her phone until it said the message was sent. With that done Tatsuki continued making the long walk home through the snow. Of course the rat texting her just made her more angry and pissed off. If she didn't have to get home and it wasn't snowing right now, she'd go to his apartment and kick his a** for calling her a prissy cat!
Tatsuki was far from prissy! So excuse the crap out of her if she is a cat and doesn't like getting wet? She was sure there were things the rat didn't like. She wished she knew that way she could mock him the same way he mocks her in his cocky attitude with his snide remarks.
God just the thought of him made Tatsuki want to hit something really hard! She was lucky the rat wasn't around, otherwise there was a good chance she'd break his nose or something.

█ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ Satoru Sohma █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ It was quite amusing to Satoru as he watched Tatsuki fume over the text message, all from the safe viewing of his window. A smirk formed on his lips as his phone buzzed in the windowsill. Oh, now who could that possibly be? Satoru took up the phone and opened the message, his grin only widening. There was little the girl could say to sway Satoru's naturally stoic features, but he had to admit that she at least managed to make him smile, whether it was through her own torment or not.
To: Tatsuki From: Satoru msg: Look up and you shall see your damned rat. Come up and you shall see double what you paid for the food you are carrying if you cook it for the rat.
Satoru sent the message, hoping she would be smart enough to figure it out. Then again, you'd have to be dumber that dirt not to. Being an intellectual, Satoru often spoke in cryptic ways, mostly to amuse himself. He had always been told it was just part of his charm, on top of his smile, which he was always told could make anyone melt. Satoru thought nothing superior of himself in the way of looks. He was tall with messy, dark hair and often wore suits just for his job. He was organized and a perfectionist, but was not a hunk or a heart-throb by any means. It was his elegance and witty humor that won people over. Winning Tatsuki over was not on his agenda; it was far too fun playing their backwards game of cat-and-mouse.
Sadly, as he stared down at Tatsuki, Satoru couldn't help but think how she actually looked kind of cute with her cheeks all red and her eyebrows furrowed in anger. She was one of those people that looked cuter when they displayed raw emotion, he surmised. It took much to sway Satoru. He wondered if she would look cuter smiling, because he had realized that he had never seen her smile. Perhaps it was just him. That thought only amused him more. Lifting his hand, he waved lightly, mocking her, taunting her. Practically challenging her. She'd be lucky to wind her way through his maze and make it out unscathed.

Again her phone rang in her pocket and she reached in her pocket to pull it out. God dammit it was the rat again! What the hell does he want from her? Doesn't he know that she hates him? Or is he freakin brain dead? She flipped her phone open and opened the message, upon reading it she raised a brow. Honestly, after reading the message Tatsuki was really believing that the rat was indeed retarded. Her damned rat? Double what she paid for the food? Cook for him?
"What the hell do I look like to him? His own personal chef?" She asked aloud. She looked around once more, this time spotting the rat as he waved from his window. She merely glared at him before giving him the finger. She was pissed off though, for the rat to think he can just text her and expect her to cook for him? None the less bribe her! Still, the way he was up there waving at her with that smug grin on his face, it only pissed her off.
Quickly she stormed off to the building the rat's apartment was located. Eventually she reached the floor where the rat's apartment was, only problem was she wasn't sure which room it was now. She had only counted the windows to see what floor he was on.
What the hell was she doing? She hated the rat and she was in his apartment building? She wanted nothing to do with him, she didn't even like seeing his face and yet here she was all pissed off and ready to see the rat. Was she out of her mind? She should just turn back now, let the rat defend himself. He's four years older than her and has a job, and he really can't cook for himself? That's pathetic! Tatsuki's only seventeen and still a high school student and she knows how to cook.
She figured walking away would be a good way to mock the rat. However, there was the possibility that he would follow her home. Then again there were restaurants nearby, so why didn't he order out?
"Ah screw this." Tatsuki muttered to herself before she turned to walk away.
