Archolite Carter444 its a shame that Salamence is comeing close to being uu and i dont see why anyone would want to put it on the list besides not want to go against one that just tells you that person is real noobish in first place and to be honest salamence should stay ou because then inturn there will never be a chance for a dragon gym to be started (if there is not one allready) so i would have to say that salamence should stay at ou Dude.... you're a noob. & there is, Clair in Blackthorn City. I believe he meant as a Wi-Fi Gym, not in-game.

Salemce being considered for UU is highly unlikely, but that doesn't mean you should pick a fight. We can all be rational, yeah? pirate
I don't really mind either way if he makes it to Uber. I can't really see that being the case, but if it is then that's fine. I've killed Salamence before with a Blastoise and I don't mind doing it again. : o

Ahhhh, don't make my baby an uber! T-T That would just cut down on the usable dragons even more. And it's not like it's impossibly difficult to beat a Salamence. Yeah, they're strong, but most Pokemon are if you breed and train them well and get a good moveset and such.

Yeah, they're strong, but most Pokemon are if you breed and train them well and get a good moveset and such. It is not that we can´t beat them being prepared to deal with one (same has been said about Garchomp since the dawn of time)... The point here is that without Salamence, most steels wont be really needed... and without "mence" and most steels to counter it... a bigger selection of other pokémon can finally make it to be more used, such as the Grass types... being resisted by both, mence x0.25 and steels mostly by x0.5 (some by x0.25)

shadow gallade 7676 should we realy care about what one random person truly says about a pokemon? no we shouldnt all pokemon are allowed from the weakling magicarp to uber arceus it shouldnt matter stare semi agreed I don't see why mence is being considered for the uber tier, its like they are saying "this pokemon is too much of a challenge for our more inexperienced players so we will set him into the uber tier to let you know that you can't use him on some occasions" I think its just stupid to consider mence to be uber. i agree with its stat spread it could be many things for a team but it has noticable weaknesses that if used against it correctly you could take out a mence in a few easy hits.

AGAIN... since you both seem to have missed the whole point of put it in a different tier...
What both of you have just said apply even more if Salamence is considered uber... yes, it restrain a Dragon... but the change in strategy will be incredible..., less metals... more grass... most swampers will think twice when trying to fit in any team (just to state the obvious example).

Shadow, Arceus has been Banned since before it was even created. Obviously you do not understand the point of this conversation. So spare yourself the embarassment and don't add anymore stupid comments.
Back on topic, If Slamance gets moved to the Uber Teir, the Scizor and Metagross might as well go with it.
After that we should concider Skarmary, then Blissey, then Togekiss, then Breloom, then Gengar, then Ambipom, and while we're at it, we might as well look into Pikachu too! Hell, why don't we just move everything in OU into the Uber teir and save us all the trouble.

They move an OU pokemon they might as well test the others. by the time they would be done the UUs would be the OU and the NUs would be the UUs and magikarp would be an oddball lol

Mence has a similar effect that latios/Garchomp did. Most teams have to bring a counter solely for it. (not that Zetshimaru thinks mence should be uber, just playing devil's advocate). Granted Scizor has this effect too but counters are easier to come by thanks to scizor having a hard time with steel types unless it carries supper power/brick break.
Also after reading the thread that was posted on smogon (link) it seems that Mence is also getting a watered down version of Smogon's subject test. Zetshimaru also saw on the first page at least that what Serge said about the grass and steel types is true so far.

Even events hosted by Nintendo itself ban Arceus from being used, and I think THAT says a lot against your childish little rant. Thank you for wasting my time on having to explain something as obvious as that.
