((Why do you care muffins?

And I haven't really thought about this, but I need to look up stuff on the internet before I post. Because its all metal that functions as a liquid, thus it could reform, but I need to see if perhaps thinner things may lose their shape. On a side note I cant believe you havn't figured out my weakness yet. I almost want to tell you. )

((Research complete!

Average temperature of an open flame is just below 900F

The melting point of iron is 2802F, Therefor I will say that is a no on melting it, though possible to heat the metal to a point where you could shape it with a strong enough blow.))

She was finally attacking. It was about time, he was growing bored with her mindless destruction. He hadn't paid mind to her comment on the trees, but if he had heard it it most likely would have set him off, as the woman obviously knew very little of farming.

As she came closer the spikes flowed down the armor into a large V shape attached to Hiroko's wrist that unfolded into a large shield at the last moment.

As a distraction from the side the untouched bamboo shafts spat off seeds, taking the number to nine shafts in a matter of seconds as the seeds began to root and grow, then came the real surprise. "The forrest welcomes the lumberjack." Such an odd phrase to say as one was being attacked, but Hiroko had no say in the commands to use his abilities.

Suddenly the large shield became like a super magnet that first attracted the flaming blade to it, then folded over it like a clam shell. Hiroko detached the blob, leaving Hatsume with a 120 pound club instead of a sword as Hiroko cleaved the old bamboo and dropped it to the ground, spiraling it in like a corkscrew. It was time for a new game now.

((Remaining stalks 6, after germination 18, two turns 54, three turns 162, and if you last til four turns I'll have 486 stalks, but I'll say that at that point I can't ignore your fire anymore, seeing as I imagin the battlefield as being half eroded already.))

:: Hatsume :: As she got closer the sign of danger became more dominate in their might as former expression died just for another to pull a wary thin-lipped smile and a lowered brow sinking down when seeds shot out only to begin rooting themselves in. A disliked gut feeling was rumbling deep within her, but she had to pull forward, killing off her wildfire to conserve more energy up front. To top it off it wasn't looking like her heat set off was effecting Hiroko in any way of discomfort or anything... her strong grip was then suddenly challenged by a surprising magnetic pull! She fought to keep her handle, even quickly snapping her free hand to the blade's guard as soon as it yanked away- but a powerful strength of magnetic force had stunning capabilities when it came to power and pulling force leaving the shinigami without a blade- but not cutting off it's heat source. Wild staring eyes narrowed down as chest painfully ached with emotional conflict and self-blame. The armor which changed itself to a shield then attached itself to her blade, making it into that club like appearance. Right now was the time she wished she had kidou or other abilities at her hand to play with. "Ame.. I'm sorry!" Words filled of guilt whispered from her bearly parted lips, for she promised never to let go of him again.
Leaping off of Ame No Marukumo with a quick roll towards her foe having Ame jerk his path towards the blade with a attempt to clasp the handle of her katana as the long set of thick powerful bushy tail feathers coiled down in a second attempt to smother over and around the blob that attached itself to her blade as if not only attempting to pin it down to it's spot but also using the possible smothering like a oven to store up more heat to perhaps damage the blob inside over time- ofcourse Ame would be strong enough to fly and carry the blade without much of problem besides having a anchor issue of weight pulling his foot down causing any raise in height alittle more difficult... but all aside, he'd attempt to re join Hatsume in her charge towards Hiroko. If all went well.

((Forgive me if the post is bad, I'm out of it. @-@ Did to much housework I think.. X.x))

The stalks spat out seeds once more, now their total was sixteen stalks. Hiroko watched with joy as they spat fourth more material for him to work with, at this rate things would be over quickly.

Suddenly his attention refocused as the bird flew off with the sword and the Kitsune was charging him. Now he had put himself at a disadvantage for a bit by letting the bird run off with the excess and leaving Hiroko with just enough to form a small blade without sacrificing his armor. Though in truth Hiroko had allowed this to happen, the platform in the ground was to act like a super magnet, but the bird had simply been allowed to go free, should it return to the vicinity of the platform though, the bird would soon fin itself being pulled even stronger than Hatsume had been pulled.

Hiroko placed a foot onto the platform and became a part of the super magnet himself, his body locked up into a statuesque form which would remain stiff as the girl attempted to punch and kick at the metal man, but once the bird came close he would reclaim his spike and make her blade that much easier to claim if she dare get that close to the thorns.

The spikes would be close together and roughly a foot long each as they encased the katana, taunting her to come closer. That is if the bird drew in close enough.

.::Hatsume::. Brilliant yet alert red hued eyes temporally dismissed the multiplying stalks of metallic bamboo stalks only due to more personal important motives. They were extremely dangerous; yes but she had to get to the source of what was causing them! Her mental state calmed as the connection of knowing that Ame successed in obtaining the blade granting a small smile back onto her expression as she continued to tread in closer to Hiroko with careful yet speedy agile steps of a fox & shinigami. Vibrations in her senses flourished as well as others; the ground had been ruined and things seemed tense for her- perhaps she wasn't in the best situation, but she already knew this. Sacrifices needed to be made when or if you where in a worst position out in the distance.

Her short smile did not stay for long in the mention to herself that Hiroko had his armor still on- odd to think he morphed it into that clam shield which Ame had onto the sword currently-- she must've miss placed her slights due to all the bamboo or so, it wouldn't change her mind on the matter on where she was currently. Being in reaching distance of being capable of flashing some tricky foxfire at him; she'd attempt to swipe a right hand while jerking her body around to circle around left of him as if not only attempting to use this flame to literally 'stick' onto his body and hopefully blind his sight but also have the added effects of heat discomfort or pain. The armor should make it even more hot--as this unique light blue flame flashed out from her palm as if like some sort of kidou without a spell. If she successed in this attempt her keen senses should keep her aware of the platform's distance & where the magnetic field had been powerful... Her instinct told her not too- but her heart fought against it. This would help her also in keeping Ame No Marukumo aware of the presence of the fields magnet distance so that it may be avoided. After all it would be foolish would it not..?
What about Hatsume though? She could quickly find a trace of her expressions being schooled to a seriousness when she noticed Ame had tried to gesture things to her inside that cluttered brain of hers.
Whether or not this would interrupt his actions of creating spikes wasn't of the question to the kitsune, she needed to stop him quickly or else she would be done for -for certain. She'd have to with-do without a blade it seemed... but atleast Ame could still preform flames without her.
If he could see however and her kitsune foxfire flames failed to blind his senses he'd beable to notice her ears constantly shift like a radar; picking up many things and keeping track so that she & Ame would not accidentally get within a magnetic fields distance. She also at this point kept her speed and agility in sharp random turns around him within this distance-- but not out of fun or to confuse him... it was to save her some seconds of time so she could complicate whether or not 1) she had enough energy to preform a certain move with Ame out with the metallic shoots. 2) If she should discard some precious items which she has few & are difficult to make.... and may fail.. but also may help her greatly in this battle. She wasn't as a fool to use her knuckles ever- and kicking and tearing her claws as a armored man was foolish... tis why she'd not do this to a arrancar! Least not till she had his defences down...

So her senses kept aware of her surrounding as Ame kept high in the air and due to the events in the battle had to change his distance away from Hiroko; keeping his grubby strong talons on the blade and bushy tail on the blob to suffocate it.

All the stalks of bamboo multiplied again as they spat out seeds, bringing the total to 51 stalks, meaning the area around them was becoming rather dense, and meaning that it was time for Hiroko to finish this. 'Nine stalks can encase a human body. Fifty one divided by nine is going to be five and some change, so I'll make it a five petal flower, that should work well enough to compensate for any possible mishaps, then again if he sacrificed his armor it could be six, and if he got his weapon back from the bird it would be about six and a half. Six would have to due though for the time being.'

She had drawn in close as he thought, but the smell of flame brought his attention back as the eyelids snapped closed on the statue, protecting him as he began to feel the heat on the outside. 'No time like the present then.' Falling back on the fundamentals of science in relationship to fire Hiroko would remove the oxygen, thus removing the chemical chain reaction and leaving the heat and fuel source. Sadly the fuel would be the instrument of the fires own demise.

Hiroko began to stand, the armor peeling off of him like a cocoon from a butterfly, and then continuing to fold over atop the flames, leaving a large doughnut. Hiroko pinched the platform below him with his metallic gloves, the only remnant of his armor, and pulled up his original weapon from the former armor. "You let me get the upper hand Kitsune." He thrusted the blade into a nearby stalk of bamboo and said "Cut." Suddenly a chain reaction started as the staff grew and grew, snaking from one stalk to the next creating a large permitter around the Kitsune in a matter of seconds. Quickly the walls thickened and closed in, creating the beginnings of a massive dome. "Repel."

The opponents only way out was up now, or straight forward, either way would be a death trap in waiting.

:Hatsume: Dashing all about her enemy while being alittle to cautious of his protective wears; she wished she could see his own expressions at times. Her thoughts circling around wondering how he was truly doing as her flames hit him; bringing her instincts to charge in for the kill-- but yet that cautious state of mind reeled her back away from such a rash attempt.
Her nose wrinkled into a shocked angered response as she observed him act it out so easily as to shed off her fire- literally starving it of it's food. A near hiss rolled off her tounge as bristled hairs raised from her furred tail and ears. Ame beat his wings as his neck stretched round back at Hatsume in a attempt to reconsider her motives once more-- but the fox ignored his calls as her ears snapped down onto her skull the moment her opponent spoke words from his mouth.
Too late.
Narrowed pupils fixed themselves onto him both curiously and in a heartbreaking manner as she fed off of Ame No Marukumo's feelings of what was to come. It was as if she was feeling the vibes of a 3ed person of a hunter's arrow just before it struck home. What more to hit...? She sneered out a obvious appearance as her muscles tensed and senses came into high alert.
Cut? The word stood almost in a pause for her just as the snapping of chain reaction got her heart beating and her body moving in a quick reflex; the seconds is all she needed to thrust her arms down to the ground as she found herself more and more surrounded- - It was something she was quite good at achieving; by using that same foxfire she'd literally burst a flash fire of explosive energy directly under to send her flying like a rag doll into the air with quick speeds. Normally Hatsume only did this to mimic the flash step, even though it had extremely horrible results when it came to stopping and turning.
Yet if she should succeed in bearly escaping the death trap of this bamboo enclosement... she'd find herself free flying it for a very small moment over the cluster of bamboo sticks where she had firmly rolled herself into a ball.
"I give!" A sharp hesitating yelp cried out. It was obvious she had already lost the battle. Why suffer anymore if he planned to go through it alittle more? After all, he did appear to be like her older brothers- but how much he was like them she had no clue....

However. Gravity would most certainly have Hatsume pay her toll as she began floating down into the opposite direction downwards directly towards the bundle of bamboo. Oo; Hopefully not to be pierced- it would depend on how they were folded in or so. Yet she Would fall upon on them in a rather stuck state with her shikai withdrawn and sword most likely falling to the ground off in the distance. Keeping to her word she'd be quiet and controlled; although it may be the pain of the fall itself.

Kitsune on a stick no?

((omg. lol. xD I swear I did not mean that. rofl End battle. Winner Hiroko!))

As she leaped into the air the dome closed beneath her and began to fold up like a flower. He would suffocate her like he did her flames, but he heard the words "I give." Part of him wanted to continue for spite, the animal in him, but the human in him said to stop, so the platform unfolded and caught her as it became suddenly heavy and Hiroko nearly dropped her. He sealed his sword and the blob disappeared from Hatsume's blade, as did the large platform, leaving her in the dirt.

He didn't really remember the conditions of the fight anymore, but he knew one thing that he hadn't learned yet. "What is your rank? You've been here longer than me, so you must have one." He looked around at the destroyed battlegrounds, noting to come back later to help the regrowth.

::Hatsume:: The kitsune thankfully found herself caught. Many things rushed through her head at this moment as she did nothing to fight being carried for that small amount of time. Her eyebrows crinkled up to show her discontent of the situation while her red eyes held back & fought tears that she promised never to let out. Hatsume was realistically a crybaby and a big one at that, but due to a last sworn promise she never shed a single tear afterwards. It showed weakness to the heart and the soul yet it didn't stop anybody from seeing the layer of liquid built up over those red orbs or the fact that her large black tipped ears pinned themselves to her head without any relief of letting go.

".................." When placed to the dirt her arms tucked in to her stomach as she wrapped her body into a curled ball having her tail coil around her bent knees and legs. She hated the fact of loosing, she felt as if she lost the entire world when she was defeated in battle. She was searching through her mind and memories from and for all the times she lost or even here with Captain MockaDash or in the Tourney. Oddly any or all who she lost with were only Soul Reapers, maybe she wasn't ment to fight them...? Least thats what was going through her head. She did fine with hollows. Her attention snapped out of her dream state when he questioned her though making her pupils direct themselves onto his tall figure without a single blink to separate her stare as a brow lifted in even deeper curiosity; although she had a pretty good thought on what he was about to do.
"I'm of forth seat. Heh, I may be older here then you but I still consider myself new here in this squad and in the sereitei. I'm sorry I wasn't much of a challenge; I hope you can find it in yourself to forgive me. Thank you though."
She then stopped her stare and turned back her head to reclaim her former position all meanwhile letting out a tiny short exhale through her nose to blow across the ash & dirt.
Looking out on the distance, the destruction. It seemed pretty bad from this point of view and she found herself frowning even more- perhaps she should be more careful after all? As if a voice popped into her head, 'just because a wound can heal doesn't mean you'd create one' Similar things repeated as she shifted her body alittle and gave a apologetic mental note out. A lesson learned, but will she remember?
She was getting the urge to ask him something, but was reluctant due to having already spoken so much in her last response to his question. But the urge came to strong and she couldn't bare it anymore.

"...Hiroko sama-san..?" A soft spoken voice still with it's hesitant voice spoke up in a attempt to get his attention for her own question just before a single ear flopped back up curiously so that she may hear better. "....You think... maybe when I get stronger. I can have the honor of fighting you again..?" Her voice was more calmed and controlled and just as her heart felt like breaking she had life breathe into her again with the motive to become that much stronger so that she can conquer her foes and be what she is. A Soul Reaper. A Balancer and a shinigami, regulator- so many names.... she wanted to make a good name for them though. Not just any name.

"I'll fight you when this forrest grows back, or when I decide I want your seat. Rightfully it would be mine, but due to the rulse of this squad on going one rank up or down at a time I would suppose its still yours. Enjoy it while you can Kitsune, for I feel that in your current mental state that you are not only unworthy in skill, but in maturity and decision making as well. On the other hand I've learned a valuable lesson today. Its easy to get promoted in squad thirteen. Grow up Foxy." He left her with the harsh words, leaving them as the only thing that had cut her during the fight, but how deep they would cut.
PostPosted: Thu Jul 01, 2010 1:14 pm

:Hatsume: How deep indeed. Her emotional personality making his words like a sharp dagger directly to a stab into her heart. Ears shifted into a pinned state where they would not move upwards for some time, her eyes still fixed on his figure as thoughts ran pass her mind. Only a second later did her hurt frown turn into a more serious one, allowing her pupils to narrow & her ears to perk forward into a natural setup.
Alright, he was a better fighter currently but there wasn't any reason for that! Yet another voice; not of Ame's taunted her inside... teasing and toying with her. Agreeing with the man and pointing out her weak flaws.
Her hands pushed up against the soil to sit up as she sat up straight with shoulders back and head held high. She couldn't help her brows to wrinkle against the war inside her head but she could help to fight it! "......Your Right. Thank you, but I will grow stronger the next time you face me! I promise you that!" She attempted to place away the sternness from her emotions and have a more suitably calm expression. Maybe she has been acting too childish..? So immature and..? Perhaps it's been getting in the way of her learning and getting where she needs to be?
Another side of her wanted to fight against all of it, rebel towards all what he said! Captain MockaDash was smart! He wouldn't have given her a rank she couldn't handle would he?! No! She trusted him with ... atleast she tried to trust him. Honesty hurt her more. The truth. All this thinking, she really needed to get away from it all for alittle while and find some place relaxing. Sure she didn't always do well against her own shinigami race but atleast she cut well where it mattered! "...I.. I trust my sensei." She frowned again. Grimacing at her past and hating Mutsuki and Voltaro for what they did to her mind... why? No matter how hard she tried it was so hard! Then she had somebody shoving it down her throat for being immature and weak! Something she did on purpose to hide it away!

Her hands clenched at her clothes, looking down at the soil before seeking out in the distance. "I want to help rebuild this place, for what I did." She commanded this in strong words.
