"Wow," Nii said with a whisper of amazement. This jackal had been on actual adventures! He wanted to go on actual adventured too! He grinned up at her. "Fun adventures?" He asked with the same admiration he held at her being a Jackal. It was new and different.
He shifted on his paws and sat, hoping for a story.

The female merely nodded, "Yes of course." She stuck her nose up in the air and eyed the cub feeling important all of a sudden.
"Where is your mother little one. Don'tcha know bigger predators out here would love a bite of fresh cub meat?" She gave him a teasing toothy grin.

Nii squeaked, swiveling his head to the direction he last left his siblings and mother. "I was supposed to back a while ago! Mama's gonna yell," He shifted with a frown. "My name's Ngamasanii though, Miss? Can I have yours before I have ta go?" He asked, shifting in his spot in a sense of urgency.
Perhaps he should dash off without her name? She had memorable markings. Should he see her again, he would recognize her, but he was still curious. After all, she was the first Jackal he had known.

The female didn't see why not. He'd been a polite little cub after all.
"You can call me Kaw," She gave him a nod. "You better get going though. Maybe our paths will cross again." She gave him a smile.

Nii gave a huge grin. "Nice meeting you, Miss Kaw," He have a short, small bow before dashing down the rock and weaving a path through the grass forest. It had been an interesting day, but he had better make it back to his mothe before the evil predators could eat him.
