Dionysus or Bacchus Aphrodite Philopannyx joshleal Aphrodite Philopannyx The Strange Shadow I have a question for you! : o From all the lovers you have ever had, have you ever been impregnated, or are you unable to get pregnant? Of course I have had children! With Ares alone I had Phobos, Deimos, Harmonia... And I could continue a list of geneology but thats what wikipedia is for. I tell you though that my list of children and consorts pales in comparison to the male Olympians'. Haaaaaaaa!!! She's never had any kids with Hephaistos!!!! Wow... List of umm... FOA in greatest to least: 1. Ares 2. Dionysus 3. Hermes Tie for 4. Herself????? ((Through Parthenogenesis)) Tie for 4. Poseidon 6. Anchises Tie for last: Hephaistos and Adonis. rolleyes You really found that so necessary? And actually the Charites are usually considered Zeus and Eurynome's so that would actually put Dionysus in a tie with Anchises... (btw I didn't know 6 followed 4!) whee Pfft, damn straight. mrgreen I meant because since there are two fourth places, one of them would be fifth and one of them would be fourth.

Mnemosyne Moneta Aphrodite, did you like it when Zeus made you in love with that mortal, Ankhises? I was overtaken by love, so yes I did enjoy it for a moment, until I realized how grievous it is to be stricken by a mortal and have their child; how time is a factor for them and for once it became a factor to me.

Dionysus or Bacchus So, Aphrodite, who was your favorite [insert favorite dirty noun here]? Well it's not you, because I don't remember a thing... But now that your asking and I've thought about it, I enjoyed each of my consorts for their... individual talents.

Mnemosyne Moneta That makes me afraid, Aphrodite.... Did Dionysus make you drunk? I... took too many sips. It could have been worse though... I have faint memories of one of his Maeneds whispering something into my ear.

Fair Aphrodite,
Of all the earthly pleasures you've partaken in, what would you have to say would be your favorite?

Aphrodite Philopannyx charaxxfallen What's your take on the trojan war? scream The Achaeans took too many low blows, and Agamemnon and Menelaus where just using Helen as an excuse to start a war. But really when push came to shove all I cared about was the well being of my Aeneas and the protection of Helen and Paris. I gave Helen and Paris love, and with this men created war. Ares thought it fun, but I found it funnier watching his mother and sister whine about his alliance with Troy. xd They may think they won, but seeing their jealousy and distress was more then I had hoped to win. lol At least Agamemnon gotten the axe, eventually, but by then Troy was destroyed, so that's too small a comfort. I doubt anyone would have wanted to mess with you when you were trying to keep Aeneas alive, and Western Europe benefited from his survival long enough for his fellow surviving defenders and family to settle in Western Europe, in which latter-day Western Europeans reaped the rewards, right? Thanks.

On an unrelated note, Aphrodite, I just updated your winged son's avatar to look a little more like Eros as you see him (and as I wanted him to look in the first place). I rather like the dichotomy between him and my Thanatos.

The Greeks considered love to be a debilitating heart sickness, destroying reasonable thought and driving the noble to desperate acts. Interestingly, Eros' signature bow and arrows were a late addition, forged for him by Hephaistos. Before that, he used a torch to kindle the hearts of mortals.
