((=D Leech! Or maybe, Lich? Hmm...))

In her human form she'd taken, Aetas was not nearly as powerful as she would be. And add the fact of an the rules she obeyed, it further limited that extent. All things aside, she could figure out that it was being drawn upon.
"What are you smiling about?" Adalwulf asked, both curious and uncertain. Not that it made him uneasy, but he was anxious to do something, anything. "Gott, Aetas. That actually gets a little creepy after a while..."
"Nothing, my friend. Let's go this way?" Aetas went ahead, with the bounty hunter trailing after her. Around here...Somewhere. Ah! She stopped in front of the source she'd sensed, a man. "Hello there sir! Wonderful day it is today, do you not agree?"

You have dallied enough time away. Fenrir glanced around again, listening. As if he could get the voice out of his head. "You're getting antsy, Darkness. Just like Fate." He fell suddenly to his knees, clutching at his chest when it thudded painfully. Hm hm, yes. But unlike Fate, I can do whatever I want without having to fear the consequences. "Ach, fine...Fine..." Fenrir sat back on his heels, breathing deeply and sweating a little. "Now, where's...Zalmor?"

Reis broke the connection when he realized he'd been seen. There was more than enough power to serve him if a battle were to erupt...but he didn't think that was going to happen. He heard her speak in the world's tongue. He hadn't learned enough to apply to what he heard. He shrugged apologetically, and bowed with silent respect. The woman was no danger to him, so he decided not to disturb her further. He spoke in German to the man behind her.
"I'm afraid I don't know what she just said. I'm...not from around here."

Treylon was about to head out into the woods to find the killer, but he then felt a surge of magic. So he scanned the area to find where the strange magic was emitting from. Noticing that it was coming from a guy with short black hair and rare violet eyes he started walking towards the man. Treylon knew the magic he was using was draining magic and he was using it on some girl, so he was about to talk to the man asking why he was doing that. But then the girl turned around and confronted the man, so Treylon decided to hang back until the situation was resolved.

Patting from being out of breath Zalmor arrived to the location where Fenrir was. "Sorry that I am late boss, but it takes a while to destroy a whole village by yourself. I was partially tailed back by the last remaining elf from that village, so I had to make sure that he did not follow me to this location."

"Ah..." Adalwulf opened and closed his mouth, confused for a second. The man was speaking his language alright, but...It was a little different. He glanced down at Aetas to see her wink at him. "You...Did you know this was..."
"Know what, Adal? What did he say?" Aetas asked, still smiling lightheartedly like she didn't know what he was talking about.
"Uh...He doesn't know what you said, he's not from around here. His language is the same as mine but..." Adalwulf frowned, blue eye narrowing in concentration. "It's a different dialect then my homeland." He shook his head in confusion, pushing that away for the moment, then turned to the man again. "She said hello, and asked if you think it's a wonderful day too."

Fenrir nodded, getting his breath back after sitting longer. Destroying a villages wasn't that hard, but he didn't say anything to Zalmor. "Right. It probably wouldn't have mattered anyway. But you did good, buddy!" He rose to pat Zalmor hard on the back.

Reis brightened at that the man understood the Earth dialect.
"It is rather pleasant out, isn't it?" he said to the man. Looking at the woman, but speaking to the man, he said "If you don't mind, could you please speak very loudly and clearly, just before he translates for you? It will help me learn the language, and then there will be no need for a translator." The Chimera Blade on his back twitched in resonance as two more sources of power became palpable. These were impure, and reeked of the universal stench: evil. He made a note of the direction and intensity, but remained politely attentive to the man and woman before him. "What are your names?" he asked after a moment.
((Sorry, guys. I gotta be at Wally World bright 'n early tomorrow. Got new hire training and all that shizz. I shall see you on the other side! *dives into bed dramatically, and turns off computer by hitting the switch with a throwing knife* ))

((Heh heh, Wally World.))

Adalwulf let out a frustrated sigh but complied, translating what he'd said to Aetas, who nodded. Sure hope he learns soon, I'm not about to be a translator for a profession... He thought to himself wryly, then glanced up at the sunny sky. It was clear with few clouds, but he soon looked back down, his eye watering from the sun's glare.
"You really aren't from here are you? You'll learn it soon enough." Aetas nodded to herself, drawing glances from the passerby when she spoke in a raised voice. She didn't mind, just waved at them friendily. "I am Aetas, and he is Adalwulf van Zandt. Who might you be?"

Reis used several lifetimes-worth of wisdom, and managed to put together a crude sentence in Aetas' tongue.
"Don't have real name. Me 'Der Reisende.'" He scratched his head and shrugged with a shy smile on his face. "It means The Traveler, in Earth German," he said to Adal, switching tongues again. He then spoke to Aetas once more.
"Me from...another....world," he managed.

((Lol, Dane Cook on Comedy Central.))

Aetas smiled and patted Reis on the shoulder good-naturedly. "You will get the hang of it, Der Reisende. And hopefully soon."
Adalwulf grunted incoherently. Earth German? Strange words, yet they seemed familiar to him. "Another world. You a sorcerer, or something?"
"Adal, that's rude." Aetas frowned at him patronizingly and smacked him lightly on the shoulder.

"Okay then," Fenrir turned around to view the town again, clapping his hands. His yellow eyes roamed the area. "That's one down, where's the other? She actually reminds me of a succubus."

"Will learn. Am good with learn new things," he said clumsily.
"Yes, I suppose I am a sorcorer of sorts." German, that time. "I'm a jack of all trades, but a master of none. There is no inherent magical power inside me...but I can use the magic around me to great effect. Observe," Reis said confidently. He extended a hand towards Aetas, and siphoned a substantial amount of her power. He analyzed it, tested it, and nearly mastered it in seconds, just by allowing it to pass through his body. He then turned away from the two, and put his hands together in front of him, fingers spread and outstretched, palms against one another. A thunderous noise filled the valley around the village, and the sky was split by a blinding light. It was as if a thousand suns filled the sky. He pulled his hands apart, and the light died, leaving a black afterimage on the eyes of every human being for miles around. The very fabric of the atmosphere would bear a deep purple scar for hours afterward. Reis gave a sly grin, and shrugged modestly.
"I've been to more worlds than you can imagine...each with its own people, its own laws, its own magic. I've gained so much experience from spending a lifetime on each one, I fully understand the nature of all magical energy. Your magic is quite powerful, and also quite easy to use. Magic is nearly nonexistant on my own world."

"Oh, are you talking about me?" A breathy voice echoed from all sides. The voice gave a nearly orgasmic sigh, and the shadows themselves stretched and met at a single point at the nexus of the area where everyone stood. A pitch-black figure emerged from the darkness, showing evilly glowing red eyes. The shadows snapped back to their original positions like rubber bands, and a woman was left standing there, a murky black substance dripping from her outstretched limbs. It was impossible to say if the substance was dirt, grease, oil, or smoke. But it burned the life away from the grass and flowers on the ground where it fell. It could only be called liquid sin.
"How are you, my dark little darling?" she inquired, drawing her robes up against her body.

Aetas blinked at the display, thinking it a little too bright. The gem hanging from her necklace glowed orange briefly while she regained her lost power from the environment, drawing continually. The light went out when she heard a muffled grunt to the left of her, followed by angry curses. "Oh dear.." She breathed a sad sigh and turned to glance at the bounty hunter.
"Blind me in my other eye, why don'tcha! Mischling!" Adalwulf pressed the heel of his palm hard against the closed lid, wiping away the tears. He swore some more as he stumbling up from where he'd been crouching on the ground. The last sentence of what Reis had said reminded him of the man he was hunting. Often he'd make allusions of a place barren of any mythical beings, or magical properties. "Ach, you do zat again, an' I'll strangle you."
"Is that anyway to talk to someone new to this world?"
Adalwulf snorted and removed his hand from his eye. "Who's zat?" The pointed behind Reis to someone standing off to the side, an elf. No doubt listening.

"Well, I was until you arrived. And what about you?" Fenrir remarked blankly to both questions, tipping his hat politely to the shadowy and alluring woman. How amusing a mortal's carnal desires can be. That's not what it is, and you know that. It's the scent that floats around her that gets to me. He took out a gold pocket watch, flipping it open with a snap to view the numerals. It was ultimately just a habit. As he spoke he clicked it closed again, twirling the long chain around a finger casually, the watch part a gold blur. "Now that you're here, we just have to wait a bit longer until things get started." Now would be the best time, before my patience runs out. "Ach, you have no tact." He pouted almost childishly.

"Take it easy, friend. Just showing off a little, is all," he said, laughing and clapping the gruff man about the back. "Well, I'm here to help. I sensed a great evil gripping this land...breaking such grips is a specialty of mine. I am at your service, Lady Aetas," Reis said cordially, bowing with a hand extended. "Oh, one more thing. I promise to refrain from using your power without your permission in the future."

"Don't hate the players...hate the game, deary," she whispered, making a light waving gesture with her hand. Her eyes narrowed after a moment, and she immediately dissolved into wisps of black smoke, drifting over to Fenrir, and rematerializing with her face inches from his. She stared into his face, hoping to catch his eye.
"My scent, is it?" She gave a feigned pout. "Are you saying that you don't find me beautiful, Fenrir, darling?" She touched a finger to the collar of her robe, and dragged the tip down, almost to the base of her ribcage. The robe split open, as though it were being cut with a lit match. Red embers danced on the edges of the unholy cloth, and her cleavage was quite visible. She giggled and gestured across the cloth, closing an imaginary zipper. The robe healed like flesh and sealed up. "You think too loudly, my friend. Anyway...what are we doing?"

((Nightie night for tonight.))

Adalwulf muttered darkly, busying himself with tightening his belt around his waist, which had gotten a little loose. "Showing off. I'll show you off."
"Evil is everywhere. Unfortunately, I am well aware of the situation on this world." Aetas said dejectedly, taking Reis's hand and curtsying. "And as for my power, think nothing of it. Even as a human, my power is strong enough for you to draw from it. Though, there are some personal limitations, those make no difference to me."

Fenrir met the woman's unholy red eyes for a moment, before rolling his own sarcastically. They had no effect on him, such was his resistance to the spell they had. All he could say that they would make great lamps. "Beautiful's one word I'd use to describe you." He muttered under his breath. "I meant for you to hear that. Leaving the block down was done on purpose." Spinning around in place, he plopped back down on the tree stump he'd been previously reclining on. "To begin with, we're waiting. Then," He pointed with a clawed finger, not the one whirling the watch around, to the town before the trio. "That town's going to be annihilated. I hope there's an explosion, actually. Explosions are pleasing to watch at times."

"Ugh, how droll!" she muttered, rolling her eyes. "Explosions are overrated. Hellish, slow-burning fires will make a wonderful show! People screaming in agony and fear, long-established buildings collapsing upon their own architects and visitors...oh!" she exclaimed, closing her eyes as she imagined the scene. She gave a patronizing look at Zalmor, and scoffed as she wondered aloud if he would do them any good in their destruction of the order of the world.
((Are we gonna make a fight scene happen soon? I'm itchin' to stretch my RPing legs! lol ))
