Lenore's father is ignoring everyone as he presses the wand tip to Lenore's arm.
She winces, her eyes watering, at the burning pain. It feels as though her skin is melting off! She gulps down a cry, and turns her face away.
It is over in an instant, though. He taps his wand to her arm again, and the mark burns black, making her wince again.
Satisfied, he turns to Lucius. "I don't trust her, either. Then again, I trust none of you," he says, his scarlet eyes moving over those present. "So, as a check, Lucius. You will be watching over Lenore. If she steps a toe out of line, you both will pay. . . ."
Lenore narrows her eyes at Krista and Lucius as she pulls her glove back on, and starts to re-tie the ribbon.

Lucius growls then looks at Lenore nodding slightly "As you wish my lord. I shall see to it that she doesn't step out of line." he taps Krista's shoulder then nods.
Krista looks up at her father then looks back at Lenore, her eyes never leaving Lenore's. No she wasn't going to stop her, in fact she wasn't going to do anything. Lenore place herself within this group she could get herself out of it.
Shaking her head she bends down to pick up the body of her sister, which it only would surprise everyone who knew her. Looking at her lord she nods "Shall I be rid of this worthless body?"

Lenore turns her head, seeking out the smell of vanilla. She needs to leave, as soon as possible. And, now is the best time.
It is then she smells it. Death. Just the faintest hint. Not from Mel's body, either. . . . She glances around the room.
She shakes her head. "With your leave, my lord, I would like to go home and prepare Damien for your meeting . . .?"
Her father waves it off dismissively. He turns to Krista, and nods in reply to her question.
"Everyone, leave me," he says, moving toward the chair in front of the roaring fire in the fire place.
Lenore bows, and shoots a glare in the direction of Krista again, before catching the scent she was seeking.
She nods descreetly to Eirnae in the shadows, and Disapparates with a loud pop.

Ala stared at her friends she had no idea WHAT could be happening though wanting to know, without a sound she too left, entering the Nether she used it to find Lenore and follow her. She re-exited the Nether in the same form as she entered it

Krista growls watching Lenore leave before she turns nodding to her father. Stepping close to him she holds her sister body close her body just looking down at her face. She shakes her head thinking to herself how she hope this was all worth it.
Lucius looks down at Krista then looking up at his lord he bows slightly before placing his hand on Krista's shoulder again. Within seconds they were gone with a loud pop also.

'Death is better than he deserves,' the shadowdancer thinks as she also leaves the scene by willing open the same rift in the Shadow Plane that she used previously to arrive without detection. She slips through, her scowl wearing thin as she feels the familiar brush of Alimus against her leg once she's fully within the bowels of the plane she is drawn and bound to. 'That b*****d wants our son, Alimus, and I'll see him in pieces before that happens.'
'Be calm, my Bond. Lenore has this well in hand thus far.'
'Well in hand? Krista and her should communicate their plans better to one another, those daft fools.' She blithely ignores the fact that she's slipped and used a word of Lenore's that's somehow latched itself into her vocabulary. 'From the looks of things back there, neither of them realized that the other was attempting this feat, and now Krista is out to try and slam Lenore back home where she thinks she'll be safe. Pah!'
'I wouldn't be so mocking, Eirnae. You very nearly didn't take me with you, and even now only Shina knows where you have gone. I recall something about the others' safety being in question that kept you from informing them?'
Eirnae glowers in the deep shadows, turning around to direct her fiery electric green gaze at the side of the very building that the heated meeting had taken place in. From where she stands, all of the color is drained away, leaving naught but hazy ghosts of what in the Material Plane seems solid as stone. 'This is different, Alimus. These two might damn well kill one another if they aren't careful. By the Lady herself, I won't just stand aside if it comes to that. Lenore's independance be damned! That's not worth a single copper without her being in existance to enjoy it.'
She sighs, then shakes her head as she turns back around and slinks off back down the path leading away from the surprisingly humble home now left behind her to continue to hide its dark secrets away from eyes less talented than her own. 'Let's go home.'
