"Well arent we peachy," he smiled as he took the ramen, and began to eat," more spice please?"

"A-Aren't you older than me?" Ace asked, looking at her with a raised eyebrow as he took his ramen and even stared at it happily. He drowned his in spices and salt, drooling a bit until he ate it.

"Like the elders would have appointed you anyway, you are way too spazzy Ani." Zaine teased, not missing the odd glances that Ani was being given, "Don't worry, half of them don't recognize ya and the other half were a bit younger when ya left, besides we have been goin through some hard times since the incident, don't worry they won't riot on ya or anything stupid like that I promise." he said half joking, half reassuring.

"It's not impossible..." Rei said in an uninterested tone. "If it's hereditary, it can easily be passed down to later generations." She sighed, feeling a bit calmer now, less irritated as she quickly got used to Ace's comments.

Anirian

Another bad move on the part of the acting mizukage. Spazzy? That was like insulting her abilities, one which was a rather grave one. She kept her smirk though, considering she'd be back to return the favor of the mizukage's comment. The vanishing for a couple of years was probably a good decision, considering someone of her rank was probably likely to be a target of an angry mob.
"Let the rumors blow on through, so long as I don't have to shut 'em up," Anirian laughed, deciding that if one rumor would cycle through, why not give them a reason for another? A smirk upon her face, she winked at Zaine, a kiss blown ever so elegantly at the man. A little play never hurt, right? Surely, it would be noticed, nonetheless. She wasn't concerned about mobs. She hadn't been that well known, until the mizukage of the time had appointed her to the rank.

Rei still managed to ignore Ace's eating habits as she finished her own food and waited as she looked around. There was one boy who had found his way to the ramen shop and sat near them, and set down some money for her own food. "Sorry, but I don't like letting others pay for my expenses." She told Okami to explain.

"Im gonna step outside a moment you kids try not to get in trouble while Im gone, or beat the crap out of one another." He muttered the last part to himself as he stepped out and pulled a sake bottle. He wasnt a very drinker but he felt inappropriate to drink in front of the younger masses of the population,"Well looks like nothing bad happened while I was gone." He smiled capping the sake, he had been standing by a bench and turned around to walk back for the ramen almost bumping into Anirian. For the better of both parties he managed to see her in time and stopped smiling nervously," Im sorry Ani-san, I almost didnt see you there." He stopped a blank dumb look on his face as he blinked,"Say what are you guys doing here.... well never mind. Im buying the Gennin some ramen, I could sure use some more understanding company, would you too like to join me, unless you have other places to go Zaine?"

He seems a bit...well, more polite than Ace. Graceful too. Rei observed, another odd habit of hers. She'd often mentally note traits of anyone around her, like some sort of habit she could never break if she was trying to figure something out using the suspects around her. "Medical-nin? I hear that requires a great deal of chakra control." Rei said quietly, fixing her hat absently as some passerbies whispered something. She caught her name, and frowned. Not like it mattered. If she wasn't being mistaken for some young man, she was being gossiped about by the others in the village, unless they needed her help. Then they were all smiles. "Rei Shirogane."
