Cody growled, red flaring around his vision. The... the NERVE! "You are going to give me that damned notebook Edes or I'll be forced to ******** TAKE it from you," the boy snarled, grabbing onto Edes' arm and yanking it away from the doorknob.
"I'll ask one last time, give me the notebook before I take it from you," he growled, eyes narrowed dangerously. With his greed side completely taking over, all common sense was drowned out as he glared down at his lover, seeing the boy more as an enemy than one to be prized and loved.

Before Edes Knew it, his training with Ary kicked in, and, despite Cody being his lover, he brought his knee up hard, getting Cody right in the gonads. Once Cody was bent over, he made a fist with both of his hands together, and brought it down hard on the side of Cody's head, sending the other crashing to the ground among his possessions. There was no hesitation, for he had been taught that hesitation meant death.
"What.. What the heck is wrong with you?!" He questioned, but he didn't stay around for an answer. Making sure that the book was secure, he rushed out of the house, not looking back, not even thinking if Cody was hurt or not. Of course he wasn't hurt. This was CODY!
Either way, there HAD to be some distance in between them. He ran, and ran, and ran, as fast as his legs could take him, and found himself in his own bedroom, the door locked securely behind him, collapsing on his bed.
