The Charizard looked over the mess he had made. Maybe he got a little too carried away with his anger. He turned his eyes to the girl that had been infront of him,but by now, she was starting to crawl away slowly.. He couldn't watch her leave, but he wouldn't dare hurt her. He picked her up gently and looked her over. All the while his face remained serious.
Cal noticed the Charizard was busy and she thought that it was a good time to make her escape, or in her mind, check on Mau. She was making good progress when she was lifted from the ground. This time she wasn't in shock, more in a panic. She squirmed and yelled for the Charizard to let go.
Skye tried to act fast. He planted a Sweet Kiss on the fire pokemon without a second thought hoping it would get him away from Cal.
The Charizard faltered; wavering in his steps, but he didn't let go of Cal. His claws clenched tighter on her sides. Blood started to stain his claws and run down his arms as the girl whimpered and screamed in his grasp. He hadn't ment to hurt her, but that damned rodent confused him and he didn't know what to do! With a quick turn of his head he saw another human enter. He gritted his teeth and dropped Cal, as gently a** he could, to the floor. With all of his concentration, he took off for the figure, Flying up again.
Cal hit the ground with a slight thud. She held her sides in pain, but it wasn't too bad. She looked over at the woman who had entered the room. Nyx must've found help. She gritted her teeth standing up. I hope she can help us with him.

Mau grunted as he slammed into a table beside one of the washing stations. The drying beakers crashed around him, and he curled up to protect himself. Slightly shaking, he managed to pull himself up over the table, unaware of the incoming agent. He saw the charizard clutching Cal, and Skye kiss the raging beast. He growled slightly and stood up. When the charizard took off again, He knew he couldn't risk it getting out. He wasn't sure who or what it was heading for.
"Ran! Take Aki in front of the charizard! Aki! Use yawn on the charizard to stop it!" He called, staggering out of mess of glass and the broken table.

Nadja's gaze moved quickly over the scene, flicking upward to follow the Charizard's flight. As the creature swooped toward the ceiling, she stepped backward and held up a Pokeball. A red beam of light condensed into a shaggy humanoid form where the elite had just stood.
The Electivire grunted and tensed, leering at the occupants of the room.
"Burya, the Charizard," Nadja ordered, and the shaggy creature's attention snapped to the diving lizard. It widened its stance, tails sparking in anticipation. "Thunder Punch."
When the Pokemon deemed its opponent close enough electricity arced along a heavy fist that pumped upward in a powerful uppercut.

The Charizard was too weak to dodge the electric pokemon's attack. He was hit in midair before he was able to land his blow. He landed, skidding to a halt just before Nadaja. Literally at her mercy.
Cal held her sides, the pain more evident now, making her movement slow. She walked over to Nadaja, cautiously avoiding the Charizard. "Thank you so much!" She would have shaken her hand if it wasn't bloodied. She noticed that this woman was of a higher rank so she straightened up to the best of her abilities. "I don't know how this ever could've happened..."
The Charizard, even in defeat, gave a curt grunt to the elite, but when her turned his lavender gaze toward Cal and was met with a sad stare, his proud tail dropped to the floor where he laid. He gave a sad sigh that matched Cal's mood perfectly.

Mau shuffled through the carnage of the lab, and grabbed a pokeball from a clip near the smashed restraints the charizard had broken free from. "Charizard, return." He grumbled at it before turning to Cal. "What... What were you doing here?" He near demanded. "The labs are dangerous... specially with that dandilion-headed woman. How badly are you hurt?" His voice softened a little, and he reached out to gently touch her shoulder.
"There are some very dangerous experiments... like this." He held up the pokeball the Charizard was in, then looked away towards Nadja. He didn't exactly know who she was, but recognized her rank. "Ma'am. What would be your thoughts on what to do with this?"

The Electivire's face split in a beastly grin of satisfaction when the hit connected, driving current into the lizard's hide as long as his knuckles made contact. As the Charizard fell, he was there, readying a blow to finish his opponent while he was down.
Instead, it disappeared in a flash of red light. Burya's head snapped up and beady red eyes fixed on Mau, a low growl of irritation beginning.
"Enough." The growl stopped.
As the Electivire went lumbering back to his trainer. Nadja produced a small something from an unseen pocket and held it out with a murmured "Good." Thick black fingers took it carefully from the woman; Burya passed the object to his mouth and stood there chewing for a moment. When he was done, Nadja returned him, then turned a cool gray gaze on Cal. Her mouth was thinned with displeasure; altogether, the elite's expression said very clearly 'Who the hell are you?'
The redhead's gaze flickered over the girl, taking note of her injuries, then snapped to Mau, noting his bloody brow and disheveled state. "Help her into the hall if you feel able," she instructed. "I'll take that." She indicated the Pokeball with a bloodied hand. Her words were short and to the point, but so was her temper. "Are you the only ones injured?"

Meanwhile, the tiny form under Moloch started to mumble. Apparently someone forgot to tell her mouth that she had fainted. "Gramma, I has to... fuzzy gramma." Her arms reached out and latched on to one of the Arcanine's gigantic furry legs. "Don't forget... add three point one four one five nine... the pie, or it won't blueberries, gramma..."
And she was out cold again.

Now that the Charizard was back in it's pokeball, she wasn' so tense, but when a sharp voice pierced her thoughts she knew she was in trouble.
Cal wanted to shrink back in her own skin. If only she hasn't come down here. She took a deep breath, answering both of their questions at the same time. "I'm Rocket Grunt Cal," she tried to be as polite to her superior as possible. "I came here to get Mau for training." She didn't see the trouble with dropping by. Plenty of grunts would come through on occasion. It was just her luck that something like this happened.
"I-I'm not hurt that bad Mau." She touched her side, "Just scratches." She looked at the lab and all of the mess that was left from the fire pokemon, "I think everyone got out fine, but there was a scientist who went to get help." She assumed that that fluffy haired scientist had gotten the elite that stood before her, but she didn't want to leave anything out.

Mau turned to Nadja and nodded. "I think the others escaped without harm. But there was other woman, Nyx, whom the pokemon attacked first. But she fled as well." Mau reached up to touch the blood that threatened to wash his vision in red. "Come on Cal." He offered his free hand to her with a sigh. "Next time, wait till I'm off shift to ask me about training." He couldn't get over how badly hurt she could have gotten.
As he was walking past Nadja, Mau handed the pokeball over, thinking that thing wasn't safe to train, unless you were some high -to-do pokemon trainer that thought love and patience would win over a pokemon's heart. Mau snorted at his own thoughts.

Nadja had no such illusions. Love and patience paled before skill and experience, and feelings wouldn't stop a Flamethower. Nor did she have sympathy for someone doing 'what's always been all right before.' "Cal," the elite repeated, scrutinizing her while she committed name and face to memory. "She's seen to."
"I'll speak with you later. Both of you," she added as Mau handed off the Pokeball, which she minimized and clipped to her belt. Her gloves left a bloody smear across the sample number stamped on the upper half. The elite stripped them off and tucked them in her belt, leaving her with clean hands to speak into her Pokedex. "Medical, Volkov. We have two more."
When they got to the hall, a response team was preparing to move Nyx onto a stretcher. Her arms were still wrapped around one of Moloch's legs. The Arcanine's ears were flattened, his expression uncertain and confused. He was supposed to guard. He hadn't gotten any instructions about little fluffyheads clinging to his ankles.
When he heard the click of bootheels he straightened up, shuffling his paws. Salvation!

There wasn't much of any reaction from Nyx when Nadja arrived back on the scene, since she was still unconscious. The response team had no trouble prying the scientist away from her 'fuzzy grandma' and loading her onto the stretcher.

With a slight bow of her head, Cal made her way to the hallway holding on to Mau's hand with her bloodied one. Holding hands with Mau? This should have been the highlight of the day! But she showed no reaction to his cool touch. He body was numb and her mind was somewhere else. This day had been so hectic with all of the commotion that fire lizard had caused. And this was only the beginning. She could imagine how she would be chewed out by the elite when they got to her office. At least some time at the infirmary would let her think and clear her mind.
Her breathing quickened; more from the pressure of Nadja's harsh gaze upon her than her injuries. She watched as the scientist, that Mau called Nyx, was pried off the Arcanine and placed onto a stretcher. Normally, she would have been all over the Arcanine. Now she was in a daze; eyes blank and void of emotion. She followed close behind, eyes set low on the ground, making sure not to make unwanted eye contact with anyone. A sigh escaped her lips as they soon made it to the infirmary.

Mau nodded faintly to Nadja as they passed her and entered the hall. He looked at Nyx as she was laid out on the stretcher to be carried off to the infirmary. When someone from the response team spoke to him, he waved them off. He wasn't really sure what they asked, but he didn't need someone to hold his hand down to the infirmary. He looked at Cal. Holding hands, huh? He might not need it, but she looked like she did. Mau gave her hand a little squeeze and nodded down the hall. "Come on." He said softly. Cal may be a rocket, but she's still just a child.
He hadn't realized just how often he had to wipe blood from his eye as they walked to the infirmary. He hadn't even really realized he was doing it until someone told him to stop that and sit still. Great. People were fussing over him. He tried to play off the small nick as nothing important, and he just needed to wash up and put a band-aid on it.
Wait, did the nurse just call him a stubborn old goat? If only he were totally sure, he might have bleeted in reply, just for shits. But now he wasn't sure if he had actually heard that, or if he was imagining things. As much as he hated people fussing over him like this, he bit his tongue and let the nurses do what they needed to clean and close the wound. Nadja would be here soon, right? He wondered what sort of trouble this was going to cause to the research, and frowned. The nurse barked at him to stop that as she numbed the area to put in a couple stitches.

The medical team handled Nyx in a careful but efficient manner, bundling her onto the stretcher and the stretcher into the elevator. More approached Cal and Mau, asking questions, looking them over, and consulting amongst themselves. With the humans seen to, Nadja's concern turned to her Pokemon. She made a quiet 'tch' sound in the back of her throat. At that, the Arcanine's uncertain look dissipated and he puffed his chest out with pleasure, enjoying the brief neck rub that was his reward. He was bending his head to sniff at the bloody gloves tucked into Nadja's belt when she recalled him, freeing up a good deal of hallway space.
"Anyone else?" one of the medial techs asked her, and was answered with a brisk "There shouldn't be." Bystanders had begun to gather - owing to the environment, most of them were peering through goggles and wearing lab coats, and a few grunts had sneaked in to begin clean-up operations.
"Enough." Nadja turned to address the onlookers. The whole mess had left her in a sharp mood. "If you're not making yourself useful, do so." As the three casualties were moved into the elevator and departed, the elite stalked down the hallway, radioing the manager of the trashed lab to come survey damages. This left Cal, Mau and Nyx to be cared for in the infirmary in relative peace and quiet. But as their treatments in the infirmary were coming to a close and their conditions were stabilized, their Pokedexes crackled to life with a clipped female voice.
"If you're able to walk, report to my office."
Nadja didn't sound any less irritated for a few hours' wait.

It didn't take long after the medical team got the unconscious scientist to the infirmary for the doctor to stitch up Nyx's injury. She didn't seem to lose too much more blood than the amount most people were allowed to donate, but the combination of pain and blood loss had sent her into shock. Soon after the nurse bandaged her, Nyx woke up.
"If you're able to walk, report to my office." The pokedex in her torn and slightly red lab-coat spoke up out of the blue. Nyx groaned a little and pressed her 'pay attention to me' button.
"What do you need?" The attending nurse popped her head into the little curtained off room.
"Miss Nadja wants me to report to her office." Nyx looked rather impatient.
"You can't...." She paused as Nyx started to try and move herself out of the bed. "Don't do that. I'll get you a wheelchair, you shouldn't be standing and walking around."
Soon, Nyx was being wheeled down the hall by an albino squirtle.
