That is...a little bit...disturbing.
Make that way disturbing.
I took these quizzes about which "Erik" and which "Christine" I would be, and I got Dario Argento Erik and Dario Argento Christine. Kind of off topic, but it came to my mind.
I think I was forever scarred by those quiz results.

She was? O_O why didn't I notice... goddamn it. She was Rita... I adore Miranda Richardson, and she's pretty damn goregous concidering she's my dad's age. My dad told me to get Ralph Fiennes to play Erik in my film I was like... no... just... no... not that he ever would anyways. @Alexis: I took that Christine quiz... I got Leroux!Christine and so did my girlfriend (who is playing Christine in my adaptaion..)

Quote: My dad told me to get Ralph Fiennes to play Erik in my film I was like... no... just... no... not that he ever would anyways. Oh, no, no, no, no... No Ralph Fiennes as Erik. Don't get me wrong, he's a great actor, but he chooses roles specifically to damage my sanity because... because... I was once subject to that scene in Red Dragon where he runs around naked. eek And now that's all I can see. Every time I see Ralph Fiennes I see him running up stairs naked, and that scares me. gonk It was bad enough that be played my favorite HP character ever and made me imagine the horror that is naked!Voldemort, but the unbidden mental image of Erik-butt would kill me, and you don't want that on your consience, now do you? *ahem* It took me the longest time to realize that the guy who plays Firmin was Edward Rochester in that one version of Jane Eyre. And, for a bit of weirdness, Simon Callow (Andre) was Count Fosco in a movie of 'The Woman in White'... Count Fosco being the role that Michael Crawford currently plays in ALW's new musical, 'The Woman in White'. Heh, I took those quizzes and got Chaney!Erik and Animated!Christine. ^_^ ... *cries* I CAN STILL SEE IT!

*Cracks up insanely at Fox's post* Funny thing is that I know exactly what you mean. Remind me never to see Red Dragon. *Is disturbed with Fox*
I actually knew that Mirando Richardson was in HP, because a friend told me before I went to see the movie. Heh heh.
There's nothing wrong with crushing on older actors, Baka. Hell, look at my obsession with Winslow, and thus, Wiliam Finley.
...Wait, that's still kinda weird.
And at least you didn't get the quiz screaming at you that you were a perv. Hey, two quizzes screamed that I was a perv. I do not drop rats in my pants or run around in opera houses in my underwear. I don't care what anybody says. ninja

So what if I do, Welcometomyhell? Just kidding. xd
That tongue-rip-out scene was kinda...ew. And I don't get squeamish easilly. I really like gory movies, actually. But that? *Shudders* *Has issues with pulling out tongues*
Augh. Baka, that's really irritating. I hate it when parents do stuff like that. My mom's been known to as well. Really pisses me off. That's why I won't let her see Phantom of the Paradise. If she didn't like it she'd try to convince me that it's bad. And my mom is the most convincing person I've ever known. Not fun. X.X

X.X My mom, queen of knowing everything about every actor and every movie, stopped me from buying PotP. *sadnod* she wouldn't buy it because she said it had bad actors. And whenever it's on TV it's on one of those channels I don't get

gonk That's...not...cool. At all. I love that movie! You should get it anyway, when your mom's not around/paying attention.
How dare she say that about William Finley! *Indignant and horrified* They couldn't have had a better actor to play Winslow! *Hysterical*
Your mom is most likely glad that I wasn't around when she said that. ninja

*swings in on a rope, a la Winslow in the finale* Quote: How dare she say that about William Finley! *Indignant and horrified* They couldn't have had a better actor to play Winslow! *Hysterical* Trivia! Paul Williams was originally hired to play Winslow and Gerrit Graham (Beef) to play Swan. William Finley was a friend of the director's and called in to audition for Winslow after Paul Williams rethought his role and decided it would look too much like propoganda for a pop singer like him to play the good guy fighting the system. Gerrit Graham and Jessica Harper were in another film together called Big Man on Campus. ... She was also in two tv shows (Studs Lonigan and Tales from the Crypt) with mah favorite actor ever, le Brad Dourif. *swings off*

My mom is a b***h, Alexis. About everything. No worries. "Rachel lose weight, Rachel you can't be a lesbian, Rachel you can't take a girl to prom even if you have been with her a year, Rachel your grades (92 over all average, thank you) will never get you into college, Rachel shut the ******** up about Phantom." That's my life crying

Fox, wow, I knew that! *Keeps up to date on the IMDb page on the movie* I have my suspicions (more than that, really) that the script that I have was at the time when they were going to have that casting. Ooh, and I also heard somewhere that Brian DePalma had William Finley in mind when he first came up with the story, and then later they wanted to do the casting differently. But I think that the casting of the movie made it into much of what it is. I probably wouldn't have liked it half as much if they had cast it with Paul Williams as Winslow and Gerrit Grahm as Swan. The thought of Paul Williams in that leather costume gives me nightmares. And, before Swan was Swan, he was going to be Spectre, by the way.
Oh, and Jessica Harper comes from my city! And she's on MySpace. *Trying to get up the courage to write her an intelligent fanletter*
Augh, Baka, your mom does sound like a b***h. My mom can be bitchy too. She tries to get me to wake up at nine-o'-clock and is sometimes ridiculous with her threats and punishments. She's not entirely sane. And she has anger management issues. *Can't wait to be of legal age and go to college*
