When finished with his meal Toothless watched Snack intently for his next move. It was exciting to see something that somewhat looked like his self and he wanted to know how this thing behaved. Was it how he was supposed be behave as well?

Toothless blinked when Snack turned his attention to him.

"mmmmerp." He hummed than smiled awkwardly at Snack.

"What would you like to do now?" he asked after it became apparent that the other otter was doing the same thing, watching him to see what to do next. He swished his tail over the smooth water creating ripples that fanned out. Now that he was feeling a little rested he could think of more things to do than nap, not that he would pass it up if it was suggested.

Toothless blinked at the question. There were a list of things he wanted to try, things he had seen other animals on the reserve play before. One in particular he had seen a few birds playing a few days ago.

With an excited squeak he rolled over and swam toward Snack with his paws outstretched. Just as he remembered the bird's feet when they played.

Snack's eyes went wide in confusion, he was much too confused to think of being scared that Toothless was coming after him like--something. A big black lake monster? He chuffed before rolling into the water and trying to mimic his friend's oddity. He had no clue what the demonic was trying to do.

It was not exactly what the birds had done when he saw the game, but perhaps this was how otters played the game. They did look different after all.

Toothless stretched his arms as far as they could go in an attempt to tag Snack, without being tagged himself when he 'flew' by.

There was no reason to worry about being tagged back, Snack was so confused when the otter touched him and then moved away. He titled his head to the side, ears perking up, "Play tag?" he queried before splashing after the other otter. He looked a mite menacing with the ways his eyes seemed to glow more vibrant as he squinted them in concentration. With a mock snap of his teeth, he lunged after Toothless.

Toothless speed forward, a grin stretching across his maw as well. Tag? The birds seemed to enjoy it. A lot. If that's what they were doing.

He flipped around and speed toward Snack enthusiastically hoping to avoid him like the last pass.

The other otter was faster so Snack did the obvious thing. He dove underneath the water and turned on his back, using his tail as a rutter to propel him forward and turn to keep up with the demonic. Once he thought he was just ahead of him, he swamp upward, paws outstretched in hopes of touching Toothless back. He appeared suddenly on the surface, "Tag!"

Toothless chirped when Snack had managed to tag him despite his maneuver. It didn't take long before he flipped about and begun his pursuit of the Snack with his arms outstretched.

The splashing about near the surface made this game more enjoyable. For no particular reason really, but every time he neared the surface he made sure to flap his wings and create extra splashes.

Snack made an awkward sounding purr of surprise at managing to tag Toothless before swimming across the surface to get away. He kept turning and zagging and it helped immensely that the larger otter kept making extra splashes. In fact, he found it hard not to start making splashes himself, not that they were near as big as the demonic's.

The scene was quite comical and comparable to a bunch of dolphins playing in the ocean. Toothless soon forgot he was supposed to try and tag Snack quickly. He found more fun in trying to match Snack's jumping pace. Occasionally he would make a try to tag the otter, but his focus was jumping in a playful pattern.

Above clouds begun to gather as a storm quickly made its approach over the reserve...

The erratic jumping distracted from the fact that tag had fallen by the wayside. However it didn't stop his furry ears from quirking at a distance rumble. He paused in his moments, listening intently until he was sure of what it was. He looked up with glowing eyes at the angry sky and frowned as his ears fell back.

"I think-" his voice died away as a brilliant flash of lightning streaked through the sky. His fur stood up on edge and he swam towards Toothless and gave the otter a push towards the shore. "C'mon. Storm and water bad mix," he stated. He climbed up onto the shore, shaking off the water from his slick coat before turning to see if Toothless was following.

Toothless watched the brilliant flash of light in awe. He had seen it millions of times before, but it never failed to amaze him.

"Merrr?" He hummed and watched the other otter make it toward the shore. A good idea...

Snack didn't have to wait long before Toothless joined him. As he shook off the water his wings stretched wide than retracted back to his side. When he was finished shaking off he looked at Snack with a grin, wondering what was next.

Snack wasn't really sure what to do. They could attempt to scare up one of his siblings though he had no idea where they were. They could find a critter to play with or maybe one of those delightful minis. He squinted his eyes in thought.

With a shrug of one shoulder he stood up and set off in a random direction. "S'a 'venture!" he grinned.

Toothless sat on his haunches and waited for a word from Snack. A wide grin stretched across his face when the other otter shrugged and begun to walk. Whatever he was going to do it had to be fun.

He followed behind closely not wanting to miss anything that would happen, or end up going in the wrong direction on accident.

Another clasp of thunder and the heavens let loose a heavy rain from the approaching clouds. Toothless ignored the downpour, he was far too focused on his friend to care.
