Masanori? Promoted? Sadly he felt more focused on his work with the urns and pottery that he only attached the sword within it's sheath onto his robes. He had come by it only by chance, or he would have walked passed it entirely. Later he would live up to his rank but for now the halls of Leo must be remade, recreated... at least... his part of the shrine.

"Heh, if I recall, the last time I traveled with a group it almost cost me my life. I dare say that the Gods muse themselves greatly by seeing me come at Death's door time and time again." Tsunaimei said making a jest of her past misfortunes on previous adventures. "Do not worry Lady Alundra, I have gotten a lot stronger since then." She added with a nod. The sapphire clad holy knight was surprised to see the Judge of Leo come and accompany them. "Lord Maluc, tis an honor to have you come along." Tsunaimei gave him a nod as well and continued down the steps. After a little while, all visibility vanished into the blinding darkness of the temple and was just the first floor below the Order too. Tsunaimei proceeded with even more caution than before. Searching for each step with her boot before moving forward.

Smiling as he was greeted Maluc said nothing at first. Upon entering the darkness of the lower floors, Maluc drew his sword, creating a small aura of light, useful enough for them to at least see their footing. "Watch your step, last I came here there were some bones strewn about. I did what I could to clear a path, but it may only be wide enough for one person. The bats, rats, and carrion creepers feast on those who come in, and the corpses do come to walk on their own eventually." The judge said, his eyes glowing a dark red that could only now be seen in the darkness. "We shouldn't have any trouble with this floor though. It's the third floor that bested me last time, though I was alone then, and playing it safe."

"And that's why your Judge Lord Maluc." Alundra said with a small tease. "Ah, yes. But each time you go rapping on that gentleman's door Tsunaimei, it seems to strengthen you. After all, what's that old saying? What does not kill you makes you stronger...I think it was?" She said with a small smile.
"Welp, if the corpses are eager for adventure then let us hasten and be the first ones to greet them, shall we?"

Tsunaimei gave a chuckle to Alundra's comments. She carefully continued walking along the pathway down into the dungeon. She noted the a few bones scattered across the floor that Lord Maluc referred to in his earlier statement. "Yes, that is how the old saying goes. Heh, you're just as eager for battle as I am Lady Alund-ra!" Tsunaimei said as she slipped on a bone and began tumbling down the stairs uncontrollably. Her armor making loud clanks with each thud against the stairs until finally a very loud thud finished the series. The blue clad holy knight lay prone on her back and let out a low groan. "Ugh... what happened?" She thought aloud. Looking around she saw that Maluc and Alundra were a slight distance away. Visibility was low again as she reached for her golden sword, Excalibur. She felt around and grabbed what she thought was the hilt of her blade and pulled it closer to her but it wouldn't budge. A low groan echoed throughout the room. Tsunaimei tried pulling one more time and an angry moan rang out. She felt movement come from the object and looked around for her sword again. The holy knight caught a glimpse of her beloved sword but at the same time she felt a slight rush of air come towards her. Diving after her sword as well as narrowly avoiding being beheaded by a large axe. Tsunaimei then came to realize that what she originally thought was her sword turned out to be one undead skeleton accompanied by 5 more around it. All the with red glowing auras where their eyes should be and coming straight for her as well. Tsunaimei parried the next few strikes that came her way and retaliated with a few of her own. The loud echoes of steel meeting steel rang out as the young female battled for survival.

Seeing the blue knight roll past him, Maluc's eyes widened. "That's not good, that noise will wake the dead here... but more importantly, it might call worse things to our whereabouts. We have to hurry to her aid." Maluc said to Alundra before rushing down the stairs, the glow of his blade gleaming brighter while the blade grew longer and thicker. Leaping near the bottom of the staircase Maluc landed bringing the Mirage Blade down through one of the skeletons. "We need to end this fight now. I fear the Manticore I fled from last time I passed through this floor may be summoned by the sound we're making."

Tsunaimei continued blocking and parrying strikes that came her way from her adversaries. The remaining 5 skeletons had her surrounded and launched overhead attacks in a synchronized manner. The blue knight quickly brought her sword up to meet their blades and initially buckled to a kneel under the pressure. After a few seconds of holding the deadlock, she let out a loud battle cry, rising up and slashing in a 360, cleaving two skeleton warriors in half. The skeletal remains promptly crumbled to the floor with their weapons making loud clanging noises as they hit the floor as well. Breathing heavy for a moment, Tsunaimei looked over to Maluc and then over at Alundra. "Thank you for coming to my aid. You're right Lord Maluc, the longer we fight the worse it'll get." She yelled which didn't help towards Maluc's advice of keeping quiet.

Fighting off three skeletons, Maluc pushed them back with a shove using his whole body for strength as the corpses fell upon each other Maluc brought his blade downwards through the air, sweeping magic in it's path. "Life is short...... Bury! Stasis Sword!" As his blade came down a huge ethereal blade jaunted upwards through them before encasing them in ice. Frozen in time the skeletons were defeated. Maluc quickly looked over to see Tsunaimei cut down the rest of his foes, then he heard his yell. "Right... We can't linger here. I can already feel a stronger evil heading towards us."

Monsters? IN HIS HALLS?! Damnable fiends dare to impede his progress with their presence. Wielding that dark blade he pulled forth the skills of the dark knight. Not to replenish his vitality but his magicks. Casting his most powerful spells he cleared his path with the flames that gave birth to the great esper he so gladly serves.
"INCRIPT THE DARK GOD INTO THE ROTTING CORPSE!"
Flare as well as all fire spells were always his strong suit. No one can incinerate foes and fiends like Masanori can... A grand mixture of the fell sword abilities and magick. Now as he pressed onward he'd continue lurking in the deepest reaches of the temple as he sees fit.

Hearing a distant crackle of flame, a look of thought came to Maluc's face. "There someone else trekking these depths, shall we find them? It will take us off our path, one that may not be so easy to find again. So?" The judge asked his companions, keeping things democratic like he always would, personally hoping they'd leave whomever fought in the distance alone.

Alundra frowned as she swatted away a skeleton trying to be her friend and give her a hug. "Whoever it is, might need help. But then the question remains...friend or foe?"
She kicked another one and sighed. "Then again, its just wrong to even leave a rival down here. Alright, alright. I say we head off to the person's aid!"

Tsunaimei nodded at Alundra and began to dart off towards where she last saw a flash of fire. Though a fool hearty move to separate from the others, the young holy knight ran ahead. "Hello?! If you're alive me and my comrades won't harm you! Is anyone there?!" Tsunaimei called out as her voice echoed deep within the dungeon. She kept looking around in pitch black the further away she got from Maluc and his glowing sword. The sapphire clad female looked back towards Alundra and Maluc only to be blinded by darkness. Somehow she managed to get out of complete view of them while wandering ahead. A sense of concern overtook Tsunaimei but her resolve helped her remain calm.

Maluc smiled and nodded with Alundra's answer then looked over to where Tsunaimei had been during the battle. "And what do you think?" He asked the darkness, hoping tsunaimei was there. Waving his sword in that direction he then noticed the blue clad knight was missing. "Come on Alundra! We've gotta find her and fast!" Maluc said as he darted into the darkness after Tsunaimei, only hoping that he was heading in the right direction. "If you see anything let me know, Just two eyes isn't enough for this darkness."

Tsunaimei quickly found herself surrounded in complete darkness once again. She walked around aimlessly, calling out for her friends in vain. A loud click echoed after taking a few steps but the young holy knight thought little of it. A low rumbling stopped Tsunaimei in her tracks. "Lord Maluc? Lady Alundra? Is that you?" The Virgo Vice-Judge asked. A beastly roar replied as Tsunaimei found herself on the receiving end of being tackled into a nearby wall. Dazed, the sapphire clad female felt a huge palm engulf her head and ram it against the wall repeatedly. Her screams of agony were muffled by the monter's hand. After the fifth blow, Tsunaimei lost consciousness as blood trickled down her face. The beastly figure proceeded to drag the helpless holy knight back into it's sanctum further in the dungeon. A trail of blood remained the only hope for her rescue.

Alundra was sticking close to Maluc, the only source of light at the moment. "TSUNAIMEI!" She cried out, her voice full of worry. It wasn't until she stepped in something that she looked down and gapsed.
"MALUC! A blood trail!" Her fears took a turn for the worse as her imagination ran wild for the poor Vice-Judge. "W-we s-should f-f-f-ollow it! It might l-lead u-us to T-tsunaimei....!"
