It's because Ninjask is so very good at doing that, Arkie and Jerzee.
The fun thing about Stat Boosts like Swords Dance is it increases an attack power exponentially (or something like that). Without actually going to Bulbapedia to check, it's like: 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, 3x, 3.5x, 4x .

Well, looking at it from a numbers standpoint, let's say you're using Howl, which boosts your attack 1 stage. Most times you can use that in one battle is 6, so using an attack like Swords Dance, which boosts your attack by 2 stages also cuts down the amount of time you spend buffing yourself up.
I think though, the way your numbers have it is going off of the single stage boosts.
I do know that some of the best physical sweepers, Garchomp and Lucario pop into mind first, even a single use of Swords Dance is enough for them to pretty much one shot any opponent that doesn't resist their STAB moves.

Most definitely. And yeah. The individual stages of stat increase is as I listed, so three Swords Dance, or six Howls, will multiply your attack stat by x4. A single Swords Dance will multiply it by x2.
So, if you can set it up right, a stat boost is mega win.

You know, that's where I've seen where a lot of games are won and lost...in those little stat boosts.

I know, right? Frankly, I never really thought about using stat boosts at all until I started playing with other people.

lol...Me either >,<
I'm actually really considering adding a baton passer to my team...
Edit: Actually, I think I have an idea, switching up between a Nasty Plotter, and a Swords Dancer...

I still want to create a team consisting of Mean Look / Baton Pass / Perish Song.

Hrm...it's too bad Ninjask can't learn both Swords Dance AND Nasty Plot...that would be waaaaaay overpowered.
Especially with a mixed sweeper team...

I just learned why Defog is never used: Defog clears arena traps in the target's side of the field — not yours.
Frankly, I don't want to clear out the Spikes and Stealth Rock I helped put up. 4laugh
