I just yanked a Momo from my tank and gave him to Barrett for all of 3 seconds. After he was back in my tank, 8 or 9 Dolphins and a separate Momo had their lives extended.

If you refreshed analyzer you might have seen the other fish gain life both when you put the momo in the freezer and when you took it out.

I was testing putting the same dolphin in and out of my tank and with each move in or out the fish in the tank gained at least a month or more.

That's interesting but kind of messed up. smile
That's such a huge glitch I have to think they are having trouble figuring out how to fix it or they already would have.

~*..so this is all about increasing the lifespan
of dolphins that are already glitched..
brand new dolphins cannot be glitched, right?*~

The glitch is not fixed. All fish can be glitched, new or not. I've experimented on 5-6 tanks with new and old fish. The fish just need to spend time in Barretts (for at least 1 glow period) and put back in the aquarium to "activate" the glitch. You will see the lifespan increasing on the fish in your aquarium (that have spent time in Barretts) as you pull other fish in and/or out of your tank into Barretts.

Not true about waiting for a glow cycle.
In the experiments above I put one dolphin in and out of the freezer as fast as my sad little dial up could go. With each change (in or out) the other 16 dolphins gained life. Try it. Open your tank in one tab and aquarium analyzer in another tab. Then after each move in or out refresh analyzer and observe the changes.

I am unsure about the part saying the fish have to have been in Barrett's freezer before. All of these dolphins were frozen during the fish strike. I have not tested it on a new dolphin that has never ever been in the freezer.

I used to think the amount of life gained depended on how long the fish had been left in the freezer but now I doubt that theory.

I do note life gained seems to depend some on the amount of life the fish has left to begin with. For example in the experiments I did last night putting one dolphin in and out of the freezer 20 times or more caused one fish to only gain about 2 months or less in life span. At the same time other fish gained YEARS. I have two fish in that tank that are not supposed to die until 2034. LOL!

I expect Gaia to figure out a way to undo that so I'm not depending on it but it is fun to look at. smile

~* *hm.. it's hard to tell how this works.
i placed all my dolphins in barrett's tank,
but most of them didn't get the glitch :/
it looks like it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't..
looks like only my cathulu's going to glow next time
b/c i placed all my dolphins in barrett's tank for a bit x'D *~

Yes, dolphins that have been in the freezer for a bit miss the first glow when taken out. That is one reason for just putting one fish in/out of the freezer a few times. Then 16 out of 17 will still glow during the next game.

The confusion would go away if Gaia would just fix the bug.

From my experiments, all fish that have never spent time in Barretts needs to be in the freezer for 1 glow cycle in order for it to be glitched. All your fish were already glitched when you pulled that one dolphin in and out, so lifespan did increase of all your glitched fish. I've put one NEW fish in Barretts for its FIRST time for 5 minutes and put it back into the aquarium. It did not glitch. It had to stay inside the freezer for one glow cycle in order for glitch to take effect.
