Her hand connected with the side of his face, though fortunately for him, the half mask he was wearing around his jaw covered at least part of the space the Zodiac chose to strike. While his head turned with the force of the impact, his eyes narrowed a notch, "Truth hurts, doesn't it?" the words were hissed under his breath, at dangerously low levels.

When the Cavalier spoke, Rhodizite watched him warily out the corner of an eye. However, seeing as he wanted the situation remedied as fast as humanly possible, and given the fact the other young man seemed to know what he was doing... he decided it was in his best interest to collaborate. As soon as he was desentangled from Libra's body, he turned sharply to face the zodiac, and then gave her a harsh shove as she extended her hand up to Laocoon, intent on both throwing her off of him entirely and hopefully hurting her in the process.

"That's for being most unlady-like," he told her as he pushed himself to his feet, brushing himself off, "For being a liar, trying to delude this man of what really happened, and trying to play the honorable victim when you are as much to blame, if not more, than I am," he scowled, looking very much like thundering murder, "So much for honesty, purity and all that which you preach."

And with that, he turned around and started to walk away, "I'll call this off. You were losing anyhow, and I hardly think it's fair to use a Cavalier - two against one is not honorable at all," a pause as he shot her a glare over his shoulder, "Don't ******** follow me. I hope to never see your sorry face again," he was hoping the girl was too flabbergast to really follow him, because he knew that in this situation, he was pretty much beat. He was also hoping against all hope, that the Cavalier would stay to assist the Zodiac, rather than bother with him any more.

He just wanted to get the ******** out of there, as soon as possible. After a few steps, he sped his pace, and tried to vanish into the shadows and the trees so he could power down. That way at least, they'd not be able to follow him.

Several painstaking minutes later it seemed that Libra was finally free. Thank goodness. Laocoon graciously took her offered hand, using it to pull her up. Of course, Rhodizite's shove only made the process unexpectedly easier and he had to fumble to ensure that she didn't face plant into his chest (or worse, the grass). Only once he was sure she was standing did he let her go and face the Negaverse agent. There was a moment where the cavalier simply stared, head cocked to one side, as Rhodizite did an almost admirable Jesse impression, just sans finger pointing. Despite his insults, however, Libra didn't look like she was going to do anything, and thus Laocoon stayed where he was. It wasn't his fight and since there were no star seeds involved it was probably safer to stay here. His blonde companion wasn't looking so hot anyways.

He opened his mouth to speak but she beat him to the punch, her awkward thanks making him bite his lip to stifle a Cheshire grin. Libra, the noble protector of all that was just (etc), thanking him? It was kind of sweet. "I hope it doesn't happen to your often," the cavalier's mouth said before his brain could reign it in. "It seemed awfully embarrassing. But, at least it was just us and a Negaverse. I've never met anyone like him either, to be completely honest, but at least he left when he got outnumbered." There was always something nice about not having to kill people to get what you wanted.

The cavalier shook his head in response to her first question, only to stop the motion when she suggested they power down. This time he couldn't resist the grin. "Are you certain? I don't want to compromise your identity or anything. I understand it's a big deal."
