Zeren startled as the flit 'popped' out of between, he stared as the two seemed to have a discussion, chirps and cheeps and the odd squawk going back and forth swifter than he could keep up with.
He was so caught up in watching the pair he almost didnt hear the boy from earlier....Azuran was it? .. "oh yes" he squeaked, then looked embarrased as his breaking voice, he cleared his throat "yes i'm fine" he said stiffly, standing up. Viska crooned, her eyes whirling softly blue now that someone had paid attention.

Ashmere smiled at the lad then to his flit, she would enjoy a bit of alone time and decided to head further down the beach away from the lad, she simply waved a small goodbye to Azuran and his little firelizard.
Her feet slowly padded along the sand, she had heard the other trills from somewhere nearby but that was really none of her business, keeping her pace even she strolled until she was out of sight.

Good, the small green seemed to have quieted down a bit. Azuran couldn't entirely tell if this was due to the presence of his own firelizard or for some other reason, but whatever the case it was good that the female had calmed down. "If you're sure then." He missed the small wave that Ashmere had given him, but turned back around to find the Harper walking away without a word. I must be leprous or something, the lad mused dryly to himself, noting that this was the second time in the span of five minutes that someone had walked away the moment he had his back turned. Well, whatever. If they don't want to talk then that's fine by me. The ebony-haired teen walked back over to the water's edge and sat down again, leaving his flit to socialize.
Drakell was pleased that Viska seemed happier now, and he gave a pleased trill in reply to her croon. Green eyes blinked up at Zeren as the brown looked him over with mild confusion. Why had his voice seemed high a moment ago? Weren't guy voices low? So strange.

Zeren smiled at the little brown flit, who was actually larger than his Viska, sighing as the other boy looked a bit put out. He lifted his hand to the Flit, clucking to it like he used to with the canine pups. Viska had clawed her way painfully up to his shoulder and she trilled pleasantly to the male, she might not be ready to rise, but she could flirt when she wanted to, and right now she couldn't fly, with her belly so full, so she tried to entice the brown to join her on Her Boy.

Drakell didn't require much enticing and eagerly joined the smaller female in climbing atop of her human's shoulder. Zeren's clicking was mostly ignored in favor of flirting back with the green. He trilled pleasantly back to Viska from the human's opposite shoulder.
Azuran could hear the trilling back and forth from where he sat and had to resist a chuckle. Sound's like someone is enamored, he thought to himself. I wonder how much of a handful he'll be after this. Hopefully he wouldn't take to frequent disappearances just to visit the female. He might hardly ever see him again if that were to be the case.

"Oh Shards!" muttered Zeren as he felt the images and feeling between the flits, he coughed and winced as the brown clambered on his other shoulder, talons tearing the think shirt he'd been wearing.
He coughed and caled out to the other lad "Azuran?!" he yelled, nervous at his Flit's behaviour, he got the feeling he'd have a hard time when she Rose "AZURAAAN!" he bellowed as the brown flirted back to Viska terribly clearing his throat again.

"Heard you the first time," Azuran said as he stood back up, brushing the sand off of his pants again before walking toward Zeren. It was hard to hide his amusement at the particular predicament that the other teen now found himself in. He clicked his tongue a few times and held out his arm for a landing pad. "Drakell, save the flirting for another time, alright?"
Drakell looked up at the tongue clicking and almost seemed to pout at his human's request. He gave one last croon to the pretty green before fluttering off of Zeren's shoulder and over onto Azuran's out-stretched arm.
The black-haired youth pet his flit's wings down after the firelizard had landed on his arm, rewarding him with attention for actually listening to him. "It seems that we have ourselves a couple of flirty flits here," he said to the other with a faint smirk. "Um, sorry about your shirt there. Are you alright?"

Zeren nodded, his face flushing slightly at the feeling Viska had sent towards the Brown "she's going to be horrid when she rises" he mumbled , not realising he'd said it out loud, "the shirt i can fix" he said, his throat contracting making his voice higher than he would normally talk.
He stroked Viska and refused to meet the other lads eyes, he rubbed the back of his neck in tension before attempting to strike up some conversation with the boy "so .... how did you get your brown?" he asked "what's his name again?"

"I would recommend hiding in your room at that time," Azuran replied jokingly, continuing to pet the firelizard in hopes of distracting him from the green. "And this one's name is Drakell. I ran across him while exploring about a week or so ago. Had some food with me and was able to get him to Impress."
Said flit was quite enjoying the petting he was receiving, but that didn't keep him from receiving Viska's feelings. He crooned back at the female from his perch, sending back some silent messages of his own.
Ah, geez, Drakell, the teen thought to himself, flushing slightly now that he too was within the emotional range of the two flits. You're being impossible. He cleared his throat. "So, um, looking forward to the hatching?" Retarded question for certain, but it was hard to think of good conversation when you were dealing with two very emotional firelizards.

Zeren tried to think of a reply to Azuran's first comment, but couldn't, not a decent one anyway as he flushed again "Viska pleeeease" he whispered to her nibbling his lip a little in annoyance and embarrasment at the antics of Viska and Drakell, "ah the same as me with Viska here" he said, clearing his throat again.
Viska was paying no attention to Zeren's mental and verbal pleadings, she was happy that the brown was just as happy to play *playplayplay* she sent, while Zeren stroked her back.
"Erm, yeah who wouldn't be, it's a shame that Dragons are more difficult to figure out what they want." he said flatly, trying to keep his voice level. *stop it Viska* he yelled to her in his mind.

"They rather have minds of their own. Then again, it would appear that firelizards do as well," he remarked, blinking down at the brown on his arm, who seemed rather unwilling to quit trilling and chirping to the green. "We may just have to separate these two."

As suddenly as she'd started flirtig with the brown, Viska got bored, and spied a tunnel snake, before Zeren could grab her she'd darted down the hole re-emerging with a small limp thing between her jaws.
"yeah" said Zeren, his hand creeping behind his neck to rub it again, he didnt even know he was doing it most of the time. Suddenly Viska used his back as a ladder, scurrying down and off, he turned and made a grab for her but she was too fast and her tail slipped trhough his surprised fingers, "Viksa!" he called, worried she'd left him for good.
Several minutes passed and he heard a chirrup seeign Viska triumphantly dragging a (rather small) dead tunnel snake "i guess that our Barracks will be snake free" he cuckled to the flit, forgetting for a second that Azuran was behind him.

It was late night, and Rhilira was glad for a trip to the beach. the Candidate barracks were too full for her tastes, and sleeping indoors was not for her. She greatly wanted to just sleep outside, but knew that that probably wouldn't go over well... Prah was snoozing on her shoulder, tail curled loosely around her neck. It was nice to have him back, and Tie had done a great job training him. He came her command now, though was notorious for showing up at someone else's side at being called... How he managed to forget whose he was, she'd never know.
When she reached the beach, she was displeased to see others sitting there, and not being all that quiet. Hoping she hadn't been noticed, she slipped behind a rock that was about a dragonlength away from them... It was unfortunate that she hadn't noticed them further back on the beach... Unfortunate for her, at least.

Drakell was rather disappointed when the flirting came to an end, but he watched with interest as the green went after a small critter. He chirruped his approval when she emerged again with her prize.
"Pest control is rather a nice advantage," Azuran agreed, watching with a small smile as Viska dragged along the snake. "In any case though, I think I'm gunna head back inside. It was nice meeting you." It was getting late anyway and the youth had some plans that he'd rather like to write down before forgetting them. As he turned to leave he noticed yet another girl arriving on the scene. Being that she hid herself behind a rock though, he took that as a cue that she wasn't up for talking and decided to leave her be. "Good night."

Viska trilled tp Drakell, triumphant she'd made a friend already, and such a nice brown too! *ohohohwhatsthat* she seemed to give out, indicating something interesting that she wanted her Boy to see
Zeren nodded "good night Azurel, i guess i should head off soon too." but insead of heading to the barracks, he headed towards a large rock, he wasn't sure why, but Viska seemed to have noticed something over there and had returned to his shoulder, climbing his leg, leaving some shallow clawmarks. She was insistent he go over and see.
